George SteedI rented a 4x8 enclosed tow behind trailer. It was brand new. Sara my agent was great! The ball interface was very loose on my 2" ball. I had to return the trailer because it was bouncing up and down on the 2" ball. Sara is contacting someone at uhaul to inspect the trailer hitch ball lock!

La Sharon PhillipsSeveral things went wrong right from the start. The location decided to close at 1pm on day of rental with a 2 pm reservation and no call to let me know. When I finally able to access keys and open the back up I no furniture pads or furniture dolly’s I reserved. Made a call to UHaul’s reservation customer service line. They found furniture dolly and pads 25 minutes away from where I had to drop truck off from moving location. Then once I started the truck the check engine light was on. Call roadside assistance to see what I needed to do as I was very uncomfortable driving it with check engine light on. The agent helping me on this situation was not very caring or understanding but kept it’s ok to drive. Her response were very scripted and she couldn’t answer my questions. So I went ahead took vehicle but extremely nervous driving it.

Dennis CarterLooks good from the outside considering it was raining extremely hard, hailing and the wind blowing very hard m we were in a Severe Thunderstorm WARNING ⚠️.. they were mot open on Saturday , the day I was trying to return my truck; I could not make out the sign on the door from the cab of uhaul because of the hard rain other than “gates close at 10” I had no idea wether to drive through them or not.. it said something about “ if you get locked in call “. I did not drive through the gates but I did call they’re ph # on my ph… I left a message.. told them what was going on and I was trying to return a truck, didn’t know where to put it.. o one called me back .. I called several times and left messages… (if I’d been locked in would of been stuck there till Monday morning because I NEVER received ANY PH CALLS BACK FROM FREE UP STORAGE & UHAUL; they didn’t even call me until I called them many more times MONDAY (as early as opening - as late as 11:30 pm and after .. ) I had finally called the place I rented FROM and Evette told me my truck still showed NOT CHECKED IN .. I told her I turned it In Saturday and I no one ever called me up to this point y in time (being Monday mid morning) … I even went as far as to drive back out there Sunday morning at 7am to make sure the Uhaul I parked in the front was still there…. It was .. Finally, sometime after 12 Noon May e even 1:00/1:30 I got a call from Free up Storage and I couldn’t u sweat and anything she was saying due to a bad connection other than they got my truck checked in and On time.. I had questions but we got disconnected.. I called back and left several more messages and NO ONE TO THIS DAY has called me back .. it’s now Wednesday, May 4th, 2022.. I returned my truck April 30th, Saturday… This FreeUp uhaul & Storage has charged my acct for something and I have no idea what.. I picked up the vehicle with LESS THAN 1/8 tank (Evette said I’d get a little over $26.00 credit.. o left the uhaul with OVER 1/2 A TANK OF GAS.. why am I getting a charge at drop off.. my truck was swept, blankets folded and inside wipes clean. ???? I am 63 years old and my 84 yr Old mother picked me up at Free Up .. she was so upset at all this she literally nearly had a stoke over this ordeal .. NEVER WILL I RENT FROM THIS PLACE, MUCH LESS REFER A HUMAN SOUL TO THIS PLACE.. They don’t answer calls, return calls .. NOTHING…

From the place I initially set up the pickup not having the truck...to not having the furniture pads I requested...to having to drive to THREE locations, just to find a truck I had reserved...I was COMPLETELY DISAPPOINTED in this Uhaul experience. I'm not sure I will use them again.

JAMES TEMPLINThis is my first time to use the automated service for truck pick up. I needed this truck to take items to Goodwill that had to be off our property by Monday. I was uncertain about the automated service. This location had an employee that stayed after closing time to make sure that I got the truck. She did not have to do that. I was thankful for her help. What a professional touch! And what a good person to have as an affiliate.

BRENDA HODGESFriendly, but not knowledgeable about van equipment. Told her all I was using the 10' van truck to move was TWO household refrigerators and a washer and dryer. I asked if she was sure the refrigerators would fit height-wise and she said yes. NO, NEITHER refrigerator would fit inside the truck. They were both two inches too tall. Wasted rental money. Beginning mileage was incorrect and also the fuel gauge amount and it cost me additional money upon return. Did not realize it because I was told to sign paper inside location, before I received van key.
norma HowardMy overall issue with the rental has to due with being fair and just. I found out after I returned the trailer a day early that I would not be receiving a refund for a day that I did not use. I will keep this in mind for any future rentals and most likely will not use U-Haul again.

I was called the day before and told I needed to go to a location that was 30 miles from my home. I feel U-haul could have transported the unit to the Willis location instead of me going to them.

LAURA HEFFERNANI have to give this an average rating. I paid for two days but only needed the rental for one. Brought the rental back the next day. Y'all charged me for the two days because I brought it back after 10 am. I wasn't told this by your rep. in the first place. If you would educate your contractors/ employees maybe you would have less disgruntled customers like myself. That's a shady way to do business. Your customer service people are useless over the phone and don't have a sense about them.
