The vehicle was NOT filthy, it just wasn’t clean… needed to be swept and the windows and floor of cab done. Cashier was trying to charge me for 30 miles at $1.59/mile instead of 30km at $0.99/km I had agreed to pay. 30 miles is a lot more than 30 km. Once I pointed that out, cashier fixed it without argument.

My truck pick up time was 12 pm. I reached there to pick up at 12.45 pm and customer representative told me that he was about to cancel my reservation? I have booked it for 12 hours, he could/should call customer if he wants to cancel

The staff at the store were friendly and very helpful. Whomever use the truck before me left a 2 liter bottle of soda under the seat and alot of the interior was very sticky.

U Haul had trash in it and tire pressure was low. Guy at location said I had to deal with it. Very disappointing. Less than a 1/4 tank of gas.

the trucks were not clean of snow, and they didnt have a snow brush for me to use to clean the truck and scrape the windsheild. The person running the gas station told me i could use his personal one in his trunk. There was still garbage in the unit after i got in which were a pack of cigarettes and a bottle of juice. I made sure to throw them out when i returned it. I was unhappy with the over all experience.

Place a sticker near the fuel/gasoline inlet that indicates which fuel type is recommended for that vehicle.

The vehicle I was provided was not in working order. The gear shifter did not shift properly at all between each gear. Went to back the truck up and the right side mirror was shattered and unmovable rendering it inoperable. There was significant damage to the vehicle on the left hand side. The order did not include my Dolly that I paid for and was on my receipt, and my friend went to drive away and the drivers side windshield wiper was broken once again leaving the driver/drivers extremely dangerous driving conditions. Upon return of the uhaul, there is no drop box for a key on site and did not have any access to a live uhaul agent in the middle of the night to find out what we do with the key.

I would like my entire purchase refunded. I set up my reservation under 24/7 ride share. Showed up at the location at 7am and they were closed and no drop box for keys. Talked to Uhaul support, they changed the reservation to 8am and gave me a credit. Came back at 8am and the facility was not open. Employees arrived around 810. Got the vehicle and it was almost un-driveable. The road noise was terrible as if there was no muffler at all. Often times the truck would not shift from first gear. If I tried to drive over 30km it sounded like it was going to explode and was rattling like crazy. The deck was not swept out, it was full of garbage. Fuel was said to be a 3/8 of a tank but was less than 1/16. I have rented from Uhaul many times of the years, this was without a doubt the worst vehicle I have rented. It should not be on the road. The only saving grace is the employees at the pick up location were very pleasant and understanding.

Pick up scheduled at 830 am but the location is apparently not set-up for 24/7 truck share, so we had to wait until the store opened at 9am to get the truck keys

The truck was out of windshield fluid to start with. The fuel tank was not topped up. So I was asked to fuel more gas than I used. The engine light was on. Overall I paid more money, for substandard service. Never using U-haul from these location again.

I drove a 10' truck, 1 km and took it back to the friends convenience store in regina sask, the tire was low, I got stuck in a snow storm, on a side street I got stuck and it took me 10 min to get it unstuck, I told the man this at the convenience store and he charged me $50.00 for having the rental 1 hour and not able to use it, I'm disappointed in this location and I won't be going back!

Picked up truck Below 1/4 tank. Filled it to do my moving. 193.00$$$$ Took truck back just below a 1/2 tank. Not sure if I should of ran to gas station every time needed to put 20.$$ more in. Waist of my time and now probably lost just below a 100.00$. Will never go there again. Box was dirty cab was dirty Terrible.

The person that gave me the truck was great! U haul... my worst experience ever! Hideous! You advertise on your trucks about about your ez ramps but don't disclose on those trucks ONLY on select sizes. Your 16 dollar safe coverage fee is a hidden fee because I was never explained by your operator that even exists. If you're going to tell me it's on your site I call BS because I didn't order through your site. Chances are I'll never consider you again for such an event again. I hate you now. Absolutely despite how you made me feel with my experience. I hope you go bankrupt If you want to try to win me back please do not you had better be ready.

Worst experience ever renting from U-Haul. I will never go back to this location again. When the truck was returned the person behind the counter did not know how to check in the truck on his system. He said I had to call in and have someone at U-Haul check the truck in. I tried and tried to use the app to do it as well but it would not work. I would login and then it would return to the home page asking me to login again. It just kept doing this over and over not letting me access the app. Very frustrating! My first call to U-Haul was not helpful as I was told that I could not check in the truck over the phone. I explained what was going on and the agent was no help and we were disconnected. I called back and Kourtney Shevlin, Live Verification Agent, was very helpful and was able to assist me in getting the truck returned. I would give Kourtney a five star for her great customer service. Thank you Kourtney for your great help! Also the inside of the cab was not clean.

What to improve you say ..Serving uhaul customers and finishing explaining the contract and closes instead of serving customers at gas station no sense of priority the trailer was also not ready when we got there also clients would appreciate NOT being transfered 7 plus times on an order if it wasn't from melanie the melanie the general manager from parks i wouldn't of place my order up after being thrown from one line to the next whithout answers she took the time to listen to my needs and made sure i had the equipment on time you need 100 of her behind the lines she the absolute best you got in if i ever need a uhaul again im willing to call and wait until i get her expertise again.

I booked a 15' truck for Saturday, 29th of October. However, a customer service representative called me and said no car was available that day. After talking with 5 different representatives, finally, a regional manager found a 10' truck on that day. I also booked an appliance dolly, but at the pick-up point, there was no dolly. It was really difficult to move without a dolly. I am really disappointed with Uhaul.

parking lot small Hard to find parking spot. Since when does U-haul use a mileage allowed on contract, but actual mileage driven is less, but charge the allowed mileage. what a rip off. I drove 66 miles less than the allowed mileage.

Clean the truck. When we picked up the truck the cab smelt like marijuana and there was three joints on the dash. We had booked a dolly and it wasn't there so he said go to the Park Street location, When we got there he said he didn't have any.

The representative on the phone when we first booked was excellent. After that things as they usually do with UHaul got worse. We ended up needing to go to 3 locations. The first one was understaffed for the demand. A number of people waiting a long time in the store. The second location had a very friendly, kind service person but the trucks for another couple and us were all mixed up and the system created a great deal of confusion for the service person and the customers. There are few choices for renting trucks for moves. We've rented from u haul a number of times and each time after the first time we've expected a poor experience. Each time our expectations have been reallzed. I hope this helps in some way.

No truck, improper pickup, place was closed with no information or warning that our truck was inaccessible. When I went to the site to check for mobile pickup, I was directed to pick up in person, with the business being closed. Absolute bullshit

Didn't care for the customer service. I went to return the rental. The guy didn't seemed to fully understand what he was doing. He called a guy for help, then asked me a questions and then speaks with the guy on the phone in their language, it just seemed rude to me. The guy wasn't friendly or overly helpful. His demeanor and attitude didn't feel like someone that wanted to give good customer service. I've made purchases at this convenience store before and never got good service so I wasn't surprised.

Don’t know if it’s the locations fault but I booked a week ahead online and booked two wheelers , weren’t at location needed them as was a long haul to truck. , and upon returning had trouble to get my transaction completed ! Also booked at a different location that was changed !

First time I tried mobile check in and was not impressed. The hardest and most annoying part of rental a uhaul is the check in so thought this would alleviate that but it was even worse. Despite having entered all my info when I made the booking I was stuck doing it again. The need to provide contacts for people to be called seemed silly and not knowing it would be necessary I wasn't prepared to provide them. Seems like it could be made to be a lot easier

We ended up wanting to drop off at a location closer to us and we're told we had to call our assigned drop off location to change it. We both called numerous times and it just rang or sometimes went straight to voice-mail. So we called the actual store it was in and same thing. So we had to drive all the way there and guy lied and told us " oh that line doesn't work" even though we called BOTH the uhaul number and his store number.

The exterior of the UHAUL was covered in bugs and it's clear it's been in many accidents, with accident stickers over many parts of it. I don't expect much from UHaul, but I expect better than this. That said, the customer service was great. I would recommend the people at this location.

Even though the app made it clear a key dropbox was supposed to be there, there was no after hours key drop off box at this location. I had to come back the next morning at 7am to return the key... Not a good customer experience. Otherwise the mobile rental was amazing and very fast!

The service I had at Friend's convenience was professional and friendly; both day and evening staff members were very cordial and polite. The vehicle was clean and operational. No problems there. However, the processs was flawed. First I tried to book at the Park St. location; the phone rang and rang with no answer. Then I called 3045 Saskatchewan Dr. location; gentleman was very nice but gave me misinformation. I had booked there before. I told him I needed a 10' truck, for one day, to go to Indian Head return. He quoted me $19.95.day plus $.69/KM. He told me it would cost approx. $80 before tax. He booked it for me to pick-up at Friends Variety. I get there and learn that it's $1.06/KM. That $.69/KM pertains to a smaller vehicle; I had no choice at this point but to proceed. Now it's all going to cost me approx. $186 including SafeMove for $15 unless I called UHaul the next day and cancelled it. I opted to go with it. Registration is all done through texting which seems high-tech and effecient. The problem is once you agree to the fuel level, there's no way to go back and check what you're supposed to refill it to; you have to work off memory; they say they sent an email showing take-out fuel level but I never got it in my inmail or junk mail. I put in what I thought I should of; Attendant didn't tell me I fell short; there was an extra charge, $23.04 plus tax, on my invoice that was a UHaul charge that if I didn't want to pay it, I had to call UHaul the next day and they would just simply take it off; I called UHaul the next day and they told me for the first time it was extra fuel charge; they put on hold to discuss with the store and never came back to finish the call; after 1/2 waiting I hung up Also mileage is all quoted and charged in miles eventhough we're in Canada; you have to ask questions to get clarity of what it's actually going to cost you; seems UHaul's system works primarily in miles which is rediculous; UHaul's been operating in Canada for ever; we went to metric about 40-50 years ago.... Overall, not impressed with the logistical, charging side of things; I ended up paying $231.45 for something I thought 'dI pay about $100 bucks for based on my initial call....
