We ended up wanting to drop off at a location closer to us and we're told we had to call our assigned drop off location to change it. We both called numerous times and it just rang or sometimes went straight to voice-mail. So we called the actual store it was in and same thing. So we had to drive all the way there and guy lied and told us " oh that line doesn't work" even though we called BOTH the uhaul number and his store number.Jocelyn E.
The exterior of the UHAUL was covered in bugs and it's clear it's been in many accidents, with accident stickers over many parts of it. I don't expect much from UHaul, but I expect better than this. That said, the customer service was great. I would recommend the people at this location.Christopher T.

Even though the app made it clear a key dropbox was supposed to be there, there was no after hours key drop off box at this location. I had to come back the next morning at 7am to return the key... Not a good customer experience. Otherwise the mobile rental was amazing and very fast!IAN H.

The service I had at Friend's convenience was professional and friendly; both day and evening staff members were very cordial and polite. The vehicle was clean and operational. No problems there. However, the processs was flawed. First I tried to book at the Park St. location; the phone rang and rang with no answer. Then I called 3045 Saskatchewan Dr. location; gentleman was very nice but gave me misinformation. I had booked there before. I told him I needed a 10' truck, for one day, to go to Indian Head return. He quoted me $19.95.day plus $.69/KM. He told me it would cost approx. $80 before tax. He booked it for me to pick-up at Friends Variety. I get there and learn that it's $1.06/KM. That $.69/KM pertains to a smaller vehicle; I had no choice at this point but to proceed. Now it's all going to cost me approx. $186 including SafeMove for $15 unless I called UHaul the next day and cancelled it. I opted to go with it. Registration is all done through texting which seems high-tech and effecient. The problem is once you agree to the fuel level, there's no way to go back and check what you're supposed to refill it to; you have to work off memory; they say they sent an email showing take-out fuel level but I never got it in my inmail or junk mail. I put in what I thought I should of; Attendant didn't tell me I fell short; there was an extra charge, $23.04 plus tax, on my invoice that was a UHaul charge that if I didn't want to pay it, I had to call UHaul the next day and they would just simply take it off; I called UHaul the next day and they told me for the first time it was extra fuel charge; they put on hold to discuss with the store and never came back to finish the call; after 1/2 waiting I hung up Also mileage is all quoted and charged in miles eventhough we're in Canada; you have to ask questions to get clarity of what it's actually going to cost you; seems UHaul's system works primarily in miles which is rediculous; UHaul's been operating in Canada for ever; we went to metric about 40-50 years ago.... Overall, not impressed with the logistical, charging side of things; I ended up paying $231.45 for something I thought 'dI pay about $100 bucks for based on my initial call....JAMES M.

We received a vehicle that was dirty and not cleaned. My husband had to spend some time cleaning it out before we could load our boxes. The site did not do a walk through to check the vehicle. We did a quick walk through, but due to the spot in which the vehicle was parked (by some shrubs shielding the driver's side), we didn't see the big dent on the driver's rear end of the vehicle. It was only after we got the vehicle park at home and unobstructed did we see the big dent that was hidden from view. It took several calls to U-haul until we finally got an agent that was able to assist us in loading the time stamped pictures showing the dent.Enobong L.

Online return would not work for me. I had to go into the store to get help, it took about 30mins to return because there was a error with the mileage and not on my end. I put more gas then I needed to but won't get refund it. The staff was helpful but my experience was more stressful then my move.JOSHUA D.

Friends convienence was very good. Highly recommended. However it wasnt the location I originally chose to pick up from. I had chose a location where I would pick up the truck with the use of the Uhaul app. This app gave me nothing but hassles, I called customer service twice and was met with no success. It was of no fault of the customer service staff but the function of the program used. The program continually booted me out of the pick up process and sent me back to the home page. Eventually, about 45 minutes later, on my second call to customer service they sent me to Friends Convenience to pick up a different rental. This messed with my plans and added extra miles to my trip which I had to pay for. This was aggravating and set me back quite a bit. I am not happy with this transaction however I want to thank customer service for doing what the could.Tyler U.
