The facility is a general store that also deals with U-Haul. The store was very cluttered and made conversation very challenging. Although the process was completed to my satisfaction, their was a bit of confusion. I believe you must make it clear when the unit is booked, or reserved, the person picking up the unit will be required to have a cell phone. This was relayed to me by the clerk indication, "It is the law that you must take a pic of your drivers license and send it to them." Although it is quite common, not all people have cell phones. So if this is the law, I believe you can make a better effort to let the customer know before they arrive to avoid delays.

The gentleman who helped me was very good. It was a pleasure to work with him. I did notice that while I was driving the truck around the "check engine" light came on. I reported this to the gentleman. It seemed funny that it would turn on.

Make sure when a uhaul is booked that it is actually available at the site so when the customer shows up they can actually use your services. I had to drive to two different locations both telling me they did not have a uhaul available even though I had booked days in advance. Thankfully he was able to get us one at the second location but by this point I was already annoyed and would rather not go with Uhaul in the future as it was expensive and lack luster experience over all.

bad customer service not only when i was called because of them needing the vehicle and it had not even been 48 hours i was left a rude message so i returned thier call and was hung up on first told TO LISTEN TO HIM WHICH I DID AND HE DID NOT EVEN COMPLETE ANUTHING TO SAY BEFORE BEING HUNG UP ON I HAD TO PHONE BACK A SECOND TIME HE SAID YOUR NOT EVEN THE DRIVER WHO CARES I AM THE ONE WHO RENTED THE UHAUL I HAD A DRIVER BECAUSE I HAVE NO LUCENSE THE MONEY AND RESERVATION WAS MADE BY ME I HANDED THE MONEY TO THEM THEY KNEW THAT THIS WAS MY RESERVATION SO FOR THEM TO TALK TO ME LIKE I DIDBT MATTER IS FAR FROM GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE TO BE OWED MONEY back from the depisit and to have an email sent now putting extra miney and laye fees on I FEEL SINCE THE MONEY WAS NOT RETURNED TO ME I WANT THEM TO PAY ME LATE FEES. $60.00 JUST LIKE THEY HAVE TRIED TO BILL ME J COURT 5873323077

Friendly staff Very disappointed that I was charged for two days but had the equipment for less than 24 hours. This is a red hot piece of equipment that you could have easily rented out the same day. Not Fair, will never rent from UHaul again!! Your loss, I've been a good customer over the years. $123.90 to use a tow dolly for less than a day, Wow guys! Would not recommend because I will never rent from Uhaul again, wouldn't do that to a friend.

This was my worst experience using uhaul ever! I have rented from Uhaul every move and this experience has made me definitely reconsider returning. I get in the truck and the vehicle airbag sevice light is on and the dashboard reads: “please serive airbag”. This is the only 10 foot truck available so away we go. We drive across the city to the storage unit where all of our furniture is being held and open up the truck to find a box spring and two tv stands left in the truck. The truck was obviously not checked between customers. I called uhaul they called the friendship centre and he was suppose to call me back. He didn’t, he made no effort to correct the situation. I called Uhaul back and they connect me to the local traffic person. He said he’s going to inform the previous users to get them to come get their stuff (which they obviously ditched and didn’t want). Then my truck is loaded and ready to go I call Uhaul AGAIN only to have this incredibly rude person imply that it is somehow my fault for not driving the truck back to the Centre when I opened the truck and found all the items. I had an incredibly limited time to load the truck and felt very dismissed and frustrated with no one willing to rectify the situation which was clearly negligence on their part. I had to drive to three different bins and break down all this persons abandoned furniture on top of everything I already had to do because they literally did nothing. When I returned the truck the guy at the store ignorantly implied it was homeless people who put a wooden box spring and two tv stands in the back of the truck! I will also note I rented this at around 2:50PM in the afternoon. Literally there was no excuse for this, I am now very aware of what I need to do to ensure that I am not inconvenienced again a truck that is “good to go” is possibly far from it so make sure you check rather then take their word for it. I made a pretty big fuss and got a small discount but overall I was incredibly disappointed with how Uhaul handled the whole thing.

I did not get the truck I asked for because it was not going to be there until 3 pm and was charged for the larger truck as there was nothing else available. I am not impressed at all.

If you park in the parking lot on the south side of the building, which is the obvious place to park, there's no clear indication of where to go for the U-Haul office doors which are on the east (124th Street) side of the building.

I received an additional invoice today which included an extra 2 days, and some over mileage, which I am ok with. I also received a cleaning fee for $25, along with fuel charges of $15.61. I called the location and spoke with a man whowas dismissive, condescending and very unhelpful. I was trying to get answers on these extra charges but he basically dismissed me and told me to come in to sort it out. I am in a totally different city and wouldnot / wouldn't be able to do that. I was getting nowhere with this rude man, so am writing to you.

Had to backup trailer, unhook and park truck myself because the person who dealt with the uhaul rentals was gone home already.

My son went to drop off the Uhaul truck and try to return the unused boxes, store owner asked him to return them in Winnipeg because he did not want to tie up his money. Since my son had to fly out, he asked the store owner to hold the boxes for me to come and pick them up, still the store owner refused as he said he had a small store with not place to store the extra 30 boxes. My son left the boxes outside the store side for me to pick up. I felt the store owner was very difficult to deal with.

We set the date for pick up a week prior for Saturday at 8am. Friday night I received a voicemail saying that they do not open until 9am. I showed up at 9am and waited outside while my movers were sitting around as they thought they would be beginning earlier since the truck was suppose to be picked up at 8am. The owner did not show up until 9:15 so that set me back again for the move. The truck is a gas guzzling beast and probably should be replaced with a newer model by now. Overall, I'm not happy about the experience and would not recommend as the owner didn't even apologize for being late. Why was the truck scheduled for 8am if they do not open until 9?

UHaul should really look at the dealers they use. I’d appreciate getting a phone call from someone in an executive position to discuss the most horrible and frustrating experience I’ve ever had.

the guys at 11754 127 street need a serious attitude adjustment and better house keeping skills and i will not be refering or recommending this location to anyone that i know

Original pickup location in Provost was terrible. I was guaranteed a truck for a saturday pickup and after driving 3 hours to the location I was told to bad there is nobody at the location today to give you the vehicle. Was given a $50 credit to drive to a new location an hour away which didn’t even cover the cost of fuel for the drive there abd back let alone help in any way for the complete disregard for people’s time and scheduling. Over terrible service and will never book with U-haul again.

Customer dropping truck off was late which caused me other issues because the truck was not clean xcetera. That being said it was my choice to not wait for him to clean it and I just took it as is. Not the Friendship Center U-Haul rentals fault at all whatsoever. He was very accommodating and professional to deal with would definitely buy from him again.

Very poor communication. The agent could not process my payment and kept telling me my payment was declines when it was already preauthorised as my total church was less than the preauthorised amount. When I went through to customer service the lady I spoke to was rude and simply did not want to look into the problem. I will definitely be complaining about her. I had to then go back to the Uhaul centre to make the payment and when I got there, it turned out that it wasn't declined, he was not putting the final closing amount to be taken out of my account into the system so it wasn't letting him proceed to the next stage to complete the payment. He stank if weed and was clearly high! Terrible experience and would not recommend this centre at all!!

This is not even our drop-off location. Our records indicated that we needed to drop off at Iman Hair & Beauty 10603 107 Ave #3, Edmonton, AB T5H 0W4. This location had very little signage to display that they are a U-Haul Dealer. Once we found the store we had trouble locating the alley and the subsequent parking area to drop off the truck and tow dolly. When we went in to talk to a staff member and ask for clarification there was no one in the store. The shop was blasting music and sold a large variety of items none of which were related to U-Haul. Eventually the owner(?) came out back where the truck was and although he was very polite he was unclear about the process. We eventually found out that U-Haul only rents the parking lot to him and that we were supposed to drop it all off without "bothering" him. I wish we would have been given the option of returning at a full U-Haul dealer where parking was easier and the whole process more straight-forward.

Took Longer to rent the trailer then we actually had it for. 75 dollars for a flat deck car hauler for 35 minutes is absolutely ridiculous. As well 75 dollars for the trailer and only 19.95 for a full van seems to be a little off to me.

friendship place was good ,u-haul in it self was very very bad as u-haul wanted to charge me 189.00 for mileage on a trailer like really poor lady renting equipment at friendship had to make a lot of calls to customer service to straighten it out so i only ended up paying 68.00 and i had to wait over 45 min for this to be straightened out u-haul it self sucks,the friendship place was great where i picked trailer up from,would recommend friendship place would not not recommend u-haul.

Store opened up late causing our time to be delayed by 30 min. No window scraper in the truck to scape the windows. Dropped off the truck only to find out that the person working didn't know what to do with the rental. I don't feel like they should be apart of uhaul as they don't really seem to know what they are doing.

Maybe tell people before hand thst you dont except prepaid credit cards and how much for everything is, not at the last minute saying deposit and then charge.

I booked online for a 24 hr rental. 30 minutes before I arrived to pick up the rental, I was sent an email stating that my rental was only for 4 hrs. When I got to the location, I asked what happened and the person working said that the truck was booked 2 weeks ago, to go to Red Deer and that because I booked the day before the other person's booking trumped my own. The attendant informed me that if I didn't agree to bring the truck back by 830am the next day, then he would not let me take the rental. I was supposed to have the truck until 430pm the next day and was forced to greatly alter my plans for my move and complete my move without rest. My experience was unacceptable.

I'd rather run naked and backwards through a field of dicks than use uhaul again. the staff were nice but that's not the experience. i reserved online and checked in online. my time was of the essence. arrived on time to pick up, the computer system refused to let me decline insurance. another employee comes in after 10 minutes, and asks me all the same questions and i go through the same screen 10 times to try over and over. phone calls were made, i stood around for another 10. the other guy called another guy, i was told i have to get insurance. no thanks, i'm insured like you wouldn't believe. after half an hour they canceled my reservation and made one on the spot and i got the key. without asking me or giving me a hardcopy of the previous reservation details. the guy on the phone failed to notice that my previous reservation included an appliance dolly as well. so here's more time wasted discussing this outside in the rain and me scrambling for options. i had three places to stop by in less than an hour and a half now, businesses we closing for the evening, and this is a big city. the guy got me a small utility dolly because that's all he had, and i needed something. anything. in the end i had to give up on one item i needed to move, just to make it to a business with 3 minutes remaining until close. if i hadn't made it, i would have been fucked because i was dropping off appliances to an eco station because they couldn't just be dumped. i would have to transport them around and bring back into my place. christ. and whether or not i made questionable driving speed decisions to accomplish the close call arrival, is altogether another matter. because of the gross delay, i now have to get another truck from somewhere else to move the last item, which is ultimately the fault of haul's shitty operation. that's not the main point though. the stress they induced is just not worth giving them more of my time and money.

I dropped the truck off and there was nobody there to look it over with me. The lady just took the keys and said it was fine. About 45 minutes later I received a $20 bill for "refueling". I filled the vehicle up and left it on the exact same mark that it was at on the gas gauge when I took the truck. I can only assume that the trucks are not sent out on full so they can't be turned full because it's easier to rip people off for an extra $20 when you tell them that they weren't precise and leaving to gauge where they found it… Nice one Uhaul...Will not be using your services again

We arrived at 8:30 to pick up our equipment, and stood waiting till 9:30 for the man to finish our paperwork. We had rented a 15' van and an auto transport trailer, and the man had no idea how to hook up the trailer. It took an additional 20 minutes to hook up the trailer, with my husband having to teach the guy how to do it. We were very unimpressed with the service as it took us an hour and a half to get everything done.

When I arrived I was told that they didn't have the truck I had booked in early July and had confirmed with a phone call on Thursday and then had received a confirmation email after I completed the online check in. It therefore took us over 1/2 hour to actualy get the truck because he didn't understand that I had prepaid online. It was very frustrating as I had completed the online check in to get the truck and get going as fast as possible. We then had to go to another location to get furniture wraps. I do not know why you have this location as they were much more professional at the other location we had to go to.

When booking truck we also booked a Dolly and other equipment. This was not available when we went to pick up the truck, and we were not notified ahead of time. (Cost more time & money) Truck leaked the first 1/4 of the tank so could only fill up to 3/4 everytime. Tried calling the 1-800 but out of regular hours (Cost 1/4 tank of gas) Truck Oil light was active. Only positive is the vehicle cab was clean. Need another truck next weekend, not using U-Haul.

Location is incorrectly labelled "Friendship Center" and is impossible to find via google maps with this name. On Google the location is called Friendship Corner. Staff was incredibly rude and difficult to deal with.
