Truck was still hitched to trailer and upon loading, the top left wood slat was cracked that had blanket bag was attached to. And had to drive second trip because the tow dolly I had ordered was not available. Adding 300 miles to my mileage.Scott J.

The Apple valley location was great and the customer service was perfect!!!! The original location in ontario was the worst ever!!!! They called me the day before I was to pick up my rental and told me they would not have what I need for my reservation. This was A very big deal for me as my plans were to leave the next day. There was effort to help me. They said if I want one there was one in apple valley or big bear and I needed to go go and get the equipment. This was the worst ever customer service I have ever had with uhaul!!!! I had to drive three hours out of my way to get what I had reserved!!!! This was very poor customer service!!!Michael C.

If u bring the truck back with more fuel, should reduce the overall price of the rental. They shouldn't b able to keep the extra gas that u paid for, and not get reimburse. Not cool, but charge me for going over miles.... kind of a RIP off...Deon D.

The location was fine but the online service wasn't, I was basically forced to pay extra for the $14 insurance when the site said I could choose the $5 insurance. Everytime I tried it wouldn't let me move forward with the reservation unless I chose a more expensive insurance. A $19 a day rental turned into $80+ for one day PLUS another $40+ for a second day PLUS another $30 charge to my card after the truck was returned, 12hrs early.Tina A.
The trailer had a lot of dried sand and/or concrete. The previous customers did not clean the trailer very well. Also noticed license plates light also did not work later. ther than that, the trailer was easy to use.Hugo I.

Tell the office workers to be aware of their chatter. It was unprofessional. I didn't catch all of the conversation , but it had to do with working on a holiday. MLK It just made me uncomfortable that employees were complaining out loud. Just give them a word-they were professional other than that!Cliff N.

Other then when I requested a truck and put it on hold a month in advance with a car towing device , the last day before I moved I got a call from corporate stating they could not do it at the location I was told it would be at with a conformation . So the lady from corporate told me I can pick up the truck at a new location and then go to Barstow for the other . I told her that is Unacceptable. She offered me more miles but no good as i ordered it over a month in advance. So I had to cancel and not move but put my stuff in storage. As a huge company I feel it was there responsibility to go get what I needed . Now that said I have used U haul for over 40 years . But I feel that I would have to find a company that is more together on things like this . Besides sending me confirmation on my order and on the last day telling me sorry .but you will have to be put out and go get it at 2 different locations . Just not proper Business . I don't think that I will be using you company again .Joe F.

I recieved a truck with no gas. I am not saying low on gas... I mean NO GAS!!! I had to wait for the owner to run and get had in a gas can to give me just enough to make it to the station. The gas light stayed on until I put enough fuel in. I had to go out of my way to put fuel in the truck and be charged per mile in doing so. I am still scratching my head on how things like this happen when you manage fuel consuming vehicles as part of your business model and have no fuel. I don't recommend this experience, I have no idea if this is a normal occurrence as this was my first time doing business here.Raynard C.

The truck had no gas and would not even start. So that could be fixed for starters. I was told I would only be charged $39 and was charged $70 .Lenai G.

This was our 1st time using U-Haul, we will use them for our next move! I didn't know how affordable and easy it was going to be. We have moved quite a bit and it would have been nice to do it in one trip instead of multiple truck loads... The ladies in the office were very friendly and helpful. Your reservation system SUCKS!!! Victorville location no help at all!! Reserved for Victorville and got a pickup location in Rancho Cucamonga 60 miles round trip out of my way....After, numerous phone calls finally got one closer. Would recommend Penkse before UhaulAndrew S.

They barely cleaned the truck when I got there. Then it took them 45 mins to get me checked in. And I was the only other customer there. The manager kept calling and asking questions about while she was trying to check me in. I was there 20 mins early for my pick up at 8am. Didn't get vehicle and leave till 845. I was supposed to meet to get my furniture at 830. Almost wasn't able to get my things. Then I reserved a certain dolly they didn't have one. Also my account was overcharged by a lot double charged for the $7 dolly. It was such a mess. I have used many uhauls never had this kind of experience. this place was a mess.Felicia B.
