I called and recorded a complaint on 8-7-20. I originally ordered a truck for Frankfort IL and was told that it was not available the day before I was scheduled to pick it up. Was told I had to pick up vehicle in Joliet IL. Spent an hour driving to pick it up and an hour to bring truck home. Vehicle was dirty and had a bad smell. When I returned the vehicle in STL MO i went to a location where the person accepting the key for the vehicle was rude and unprofessional and could not provide any information relative to getting a receipt for returning the vehicle. Person gave me a number to call to provide ending mileage. Both locations poorly managed. Entire experience was terrible. I am still waiting to hear from U-Haul management. I think UHaul should have had the vehicle transported to the location where I originally placed reservation.Thomas R.

The are chargers me 18,63 for gas wen the car was no full I call several time to the stor never answered back wen I take the car back no one was ther and I have to drop the kit on a box the have therDavid G.

This place is a RIP off! They charged me twice! Only used it for 8 miles and they charged my debit card 90.00 !! I should of listened to my son when he read the bad review on this place! I'm very angry with this reputable so called !jaqueline D.
Waited until location to open so I could have human interaction. The person at the store said they couldn't help me and I should do mobile check in. Also, they had the wrong dolly in the truck, but since the person didn't want to help me, I took the wrong dolly anyway. If I ever have to pick up from this location, I would CANCEL my reservation.James S.

Worst experience I've ever had renting a vehicleGeorge J.
-We get there and guy says he doesn't do U-Haul and that the guy that does isn't there so I have to come back after 4 when reservation is at 10:00 am! -we had movers scheduled and were paying them to sit in our driveway due to there inability to do there job! -then I called 800 U-Haul and they said he had to do it and called the store employee. -Store employee calls some guy on his cell phone on speaker and asks me all kinds of personal questions: credit card number, exp, DL #, DOB, address...with customers in the store listening! He proceeds with this even after I say I am uncomfortable giving this information out loud and having him repeat it over the speakerphone! -They were both very rude -I didn't get contract -He didn't walk around for damage, miles or gas or go over any information. -I called in and reported this -customers behind us were trying to rent a U-Haul as well but after seeing this ridiculous process got upset and then the guy on the phone hung up on them and the customers walked out upset. -he changed my drop off location -Truck had 1/2 tank of gas only but when I called they said he marked full! Overall this was a terrible experience!Jessica H.

I was overcharged! I reserved pickup at another location! Uhaul changed location! I spent over an hour at Jackson St location and I had to contact Uhaul because transaction would not go through! Reserved 10ft truck with dolly which totaled $151. Dealer didn't have dolly so Uhaul took it off reservation in order for transaction to go through. I ended up paying $153! I feel I was over charged! Dealer spoke very poor English! Very Bad and Stressful experience!Tameko B.

the store was in a bad area that I would not go to at night!!The staff had no idea how to work the computer and could barely, speak English. Had to call the coparent office to get help. The regional manger had to come into the store to correct everything. I was very up set on how long it took and the unprofessional the staff was.william P.
The location I picked up from was 116 E. Jackson St. in Joliet, IL. The U-Haul truck I picked up was clean and nice, but the location I went to pick it up from was a horrible area in Joliet and I felt extremely unsafe. On top of that the lady who checked us out took about 45 minutes to get us going because she did not even know what she was doing and was very rude to me and my parents. I would not ever recommend anyone to this location and I think this location should not allow U-Haul pick up or drop offs anymore.jillian H.
Don't change pick up location to a place 20 minutes out of the way from where I wanted the truck 30 minutes before pickup time.Andrew B.
