They ripped me & my sister off..charged us 183.00 cause we are people of color ..we rented the truck on 1/4 tank & they charged us 183.00 talking about it was empty they lied & this Amanda chic gets on the phone & don't solve anything ..I advise anybody in the Gadsden area that's black not to rent from the UHaul on west meighan they will rip you off.. I'm currently in the process of trying to speak with cooperation before I move forward with a discrimination & civil lawsuit

The truck was on a half tank, so I filled it up to a half tank before returning it. I have a time stamped photo of when I first got into the truck, for proof. Let me k ow if there is an issue. Please do not charge my card.

My complaint is your mobile pick up system. I called U haul general customer service number to find out what to do since I was picking up the truck at 7 am and there was going to be nobody at the site. The person told me I just needed to have my phone and account number and log on to u haul and that's all it takes. The message I got on my text said the same thing. It did not say I needed another way to verify like having a passport (or the other items on your verification system). I had to go back home to get my passport. I think that at the least this is a misleading, inconvenient, inefficient, and sub par system. At worse, it is dishonest, trying to get customers to believe it is easy so that they would commit to rent the truck using your so called 24/7 system. Be honest and be clear (it this was mentioned in the tons of notes on your site I did not see it). It is not a pleasant experience when you are at the point of picking up the truck and just find out about it. Do it in advance. I did everything asked when I booked and I expected a much easier pick up . I understand the need for a photo and license photo, but that together with my phone (like you can send a code to the phone) should be enough, or you could do the extra verification steps tied to the phone in advance, SO THAT THE PHONE IS TRULY WHAT IS NEEDED FOR THE PICK UP USING THE MOBILE.

The trailer experienced a blow out and I was told we would have an extra day free because we were asked to pick up early, however we were then charged for the extra day. When I called to dispute this I spoke with a customer service person who hung up after waiting nearly 3 hours for a call.

These are the greatest people. Always eager to help in any way at all hours. THey are the best. THey almost always have trucks available. You always have clean vehicles ready to go. Thank you Greyhound for you professionalism in the service/travel industry. Truly a standard bearer.

The after hours $20 fee was not deserving. I can understand people need off work. My off days are Sat and Sun. This location closes at 12:00 on Saturday and is closed on Sundays. I turned the key in the drop box. Customers shouldn't charged for the after hours. Nothing was done by an employee until the next business day.

Nothing. The lady there was very helpful. She actually came outside and help hook up the trailer. The previous location I went in Rainbow City AL on Hwy 77 didn't have a transporter. The gentleman there made the reservation at the other location got my credit card to reserve it. Everyone was so friendly and helpful.

Had to wait 30 minutes past my scheduled pick up time before anyone showed up, I felt uneasy as there were a few rough looking people sitting around waiting to catch a bus I assume, when I returned the trailer a woman pulled up in a car wanting me to give her some money so she could buy gas, wouldn't ever use this location again

My experience with renting a vehicle from U-haul was painless, and Daniel was very professional and friendly. He was knowledgable about the rental service, and since he knew what he was doing, I was out of there in no time. Thanks

The attendant needs training and assistance. He took over an hour to get my reservation to pull up in the computer. He did NOT have the size I reserved but kept the cost of it in the computer. He did not have the hitch and pin in stock that I ordered and paid for when I booked the reservation online. He told me he securely hooked up the trailer to my truck only to have it come out and almost caused a serious accident 2 streets over, less than 10 minutes after leaving with it. When I called him to inform him what happened all he could day was, "ohh my God." I missed my appointment to pick up and they sold some of it to someone that was there! He told me I could keep the trailer an additional day because the lady agreed to meet me there the next day since that happened and she couldn't wait any longer the day of my appointment! I arrived the turn in day to drop it off, the email confirmation stated they closed at 3. I arrived around 2:20 and they closed at 2! No one was there. I tried to do online check-in but ended up calling customer service because it was trying to charge me for the larger trailer I had requested, BUT THEY DIDN'T HAVE ANY IN STOCK, and for 2 days!! Well, the CSR documented and stated they would handle it from there. Finally, the location didn't close my contract out until late Monday and charged me for 4 days!!! I called the location, he said there was nothing he could do that I needed to call customer service again!! I called and the rep was so nice, he read my file, and assured me he would handle it. I have not checked my account to see if my money has been returned yet, but I will NOT use this location, nor uhaul, if I can help it, ever again!

I waited an hour to get the cargo van and the van was not clean. You need to disinfect it every time someone rents it because of the Covid 19. It needs to be vacuumed out too.

this is the worst experience that I've ever had with U-Haul there was no one at the location it was very hot outside we had to wait several hours to get assistance. They just put on the people that were working there quit and walked out prior to us arriving witched caused a big headache for us.

When returning the truck the first thing it tells you to do is place the keys in the drop box. Then after you go through the return check in it gives you the code for the key holder. It should tell you not to put your key up till the end of the checkin.

There were no representatives present. Had to unhook and return trailer myself using internet instructions. Is a problem for senior citizens. I would still recommend U-haul because their equipment is in good shape and the fees are reasonable.
