James WThe truck was filthy inside. The passenger mirror wouldn't stay in place when on the road, so once I started driving it turned inward and the only thing I could see was the passenger door, no visibility of other traffic. The transmission sounded like it was about to blow..the rpm's would get to 3.5-4 before the gears would shift down. I failed to take a pic of the gas guage before and after and they said I was an 1/8th of a tank short of the required amount of fuel and charged me $6/gallon for adding 4 more gallons. A couple years ago I reserved a U-Haul truck from another location 2 WEEKS AHEAD OF TIME and the day before I was to pick the truck up, the rep called me and said it wasn't available and I would have to drive to another location to get it (which was 34 miles further and I would have to pay the extra mileage of course). So my experiences with U-Haul have been far less than great. The only reason I even chose them is because Budget didn't have the truck I wanted this weekend and no other rental place was near.

Heather PI had to pick the equipment up at this location 40 miles from my original pickup location, because the truck I was supposed to pickup in Vincennes, In was not going to be available. They told me I could pick it up on Friday instead of Saturday at no charge, so I did on the way to our move location.

Bill KI didn’t notice when I pick up the truck that they charge me for insurance but I I reserved everything online for no insurance I realize it till I was bringing it back and there’s a freaking there’s a charges Plus we need a smaller truck and all you guys how is the big trucks and so I had no choice but to give expensive truck they probably should’ve been discounted to a regular truck size since there is none available
Scott GActual locations of pick up or drop off were great. The issues were with the customer call center in Indianapolis. Woman on the phone was obnoxious, rude, and pretended to be an asian woman (mocking chinese voice). Would not listen, messed up our order…her supervisor didn’t seem to care until my husband became angry during an extremely stressful time in our life (you no, moving…the business your in). The worst experience of our entire move.
