mereidith K.So, I have no problem with the actual location of where we got the truck beyond the fact that I suggest you download the application before you get there if you are doing keyless pick up. I was also disappointed that the equipment we'd ordered wasn't in the truck. Finally, if you do run into problems in this location it is best to call the Wash-N-Win location and ask to speak with the manager. The Gentry folks can't answer your questions, including what to do if you don't get the code even though you've already paid. Also, be prepared if you do call for you to be put on hold for an hour and then to have the phone call hung up on their end. Sadly, it was a negative experience for us to use Uhaul. Someone else suggested using Enterprise, which we might have done had we'd known about it.

kerrin T.Vehicle was difficult to start when picking up. Should have known then there would be problems. Starting problem repeated itself throughout move, until vehicle would not start at all after refueling. Rental location was closed so had to call U-Haul roadside assistance, which estimated a 45-60 minute wait. Left vehicle for them at gas station. Note that rental location was very helpful when I picked vehicle up so I think this is more of a U-Haul fleet management problem.

CINDY A.No problems with Gentry Motor Company , but our problems were with U-haul app. Since Gentry wasn't open Sunday the day we picked up the truck we were suppose to the app to check it out. The app Did NOT work as it is crap , had to give a call and wait for call to be returned alot later. Same problem when we took truck back and Gentry wasn't open because of the holiday. Had to call u- haul again and was told there was a wait and they would call back . We left the truck and put key in the drop box and when u haul finally was reached we were told it probably would cost us an extra $20 to have them check the truck back in. If they want customers to use the app they need for it to work. Was told by another u-haul dealer that many other people have trouble with their app.

JANELLE B.Long story short. I picked up the rental on July 20th around 4pm in Godfrey IL and returned the rental to this location (Gentry Motors) on the 21st around 12:30pm. Less than a 24 hr rental. I was charged for two days rental and wasn't credited back for the extra day. Wait…it gets better. Upon returning the trailer the lady refused to check it in. She told me to pull it over in the lot and just drop it and they'd check it in and credit me back. Offered her my paper work and she didn't want to look at it. So I parked the trailer in their lot. I even took a pic of it dropped off in their lot and time stamped it for proof. Then two days later they checked it in and charged me a late fee. I will never recommend this location ever again. Gentry Motors is a joke. This was not a mistake this was intentional as I'm sure this is standard for them. Poor customer service and doesn't deserve to be a uhaul dealer. Fuck you Gentry. I don't give two shits anymore about the $20. You can shove it up your fucking ass.
