Find a drop off closer to my destination. I had to drive an hour round trip just to drop off the truck.

Mary GrimmThe phone center DID NOT give me the address of the pickup site, nor did they give me time to get there. The 4 hour window began when I was still on the phone. The woman (Kara) at the pickup site was much more understanding. Some of the surcharges were also unnecessary.
Ken TotoThe only problem was dropping off on a holiday. I tried to use the online drop off instructions, but there was no wireless signal in this area. The staff did take care of everything the next day.

I had been upset when the location changed from my original request to one that was 40 minutes away instead of 12. UHaul kept in touch with me, clearly trying to make it happen. And you did. April BlackI had no problems with the rental location, or the man who operates it, very nice guy, my problem is with U-haul itself, I used my debit card for this transaction, I noticed today, 2 weeks after my rental a charge on my card, when I called U-haul, they said the original charge had been declined on April 24th, she offered me the return of the late fee, because I said I was not notified that my card was declined, I called my bank they show no decline, or any attempt, I understand that is a fee that I owe, but to wait 2 weeks to process, then charge me a late fee, is not good business, and I will not be using U-haul in the future, which is sad for you, because this was my 6th rental in less than a year
SUSAN RISTOWThe U-Haul itself was great. I was very disappointed when I went to fill up the tank to 3/4 according to the chart provided to me. I filled it with a little bit less than the recommended amount, and when I turned the vehicle back on the fuel meter was Full. Felt like I got legally scammed after a hard day of moving. Godspeed to the person after me, enjoy that fuel.

DENISE VANSANTThis is for the Uhaul team - not the next customer. My original reservation pick up location was changed without a phone call notification. During the reservation process - it states that someone will call within a certain time frame if the pick up location changes. No one called and therefore I showed up to Bp and learned that the pick up location had been moved 30 miles away. Terrible experience.
Brain TustinI scheduled a 6 x 12 trailer to be picked up on Monday and drop back on Tuesday evening or prior to opening on Wednesday morning. I picked up the trailer on Monday January ninth around 9:30 AM. I brought the trailer back on January 11 prior to their opening at 9 am. I arrived with the trailer on January 11 at approximately 8 AM. There was no one available at the location in Georgetown to help me lift a very heavy trailer off of my hitch on my truck when I arrived. So I waited until someone showed up who could help me take it off because there is no Crank available on the trailer to remove it from my truck. I spoke to the manager today, after receiving a statement of the charges against my credit card. I challenge the amount that they were charging me. I should have been charged only for two days, however they charge me a total of 4 days. I want a credit back to my credit card for the amount of the overcharge because I only had the trailer for two days use.
earl wiltonly complaint was that the drop-off was 30 min from my destination. Uhaul needs more trailer drop off locations. The fellow checking me in was great though

Tom NolanWhen we asked to have my husband as a primary driver, we told it didn't matter. So, when he got pulled over we were informed that U-haul would not cover anything if he was to get in an accident, I was a bit upset. Why buy the insurance if the primary driver isn't even on the paperwork? U-haul needs to inform thier employees that they HAVE to put the primary driver on the paperwork NO MATTER WHAT!!
Heather RiveraExpedited pick-up process. Other locations I have been to employ a paperless process w/an iPad, emails and text messages. This place is still printing wads of paper, highlighting stuff, reviewing stuff and generally wasting time and paper that nobody is going to read anyway.

Jessica DillonI was very disappointed that I was charged a fueling fee. The renter was very clear that we should use the gas hand indicator when fueling and I put in slightly more than suggested approximately 1 mile away for the returned location. This practice is less than professional. By the way , I even returned the truck on the same day.

Michael ShafferPassenger side mirror would not adjust but all in all we made it work. Without the mirror it made the travel a little more difficult but it is what it is.

georgetownss Georgetown Self StorRenting a U-Haul was an absolute nightmare!! I had originally scheduled pick up for a 20’ truck at our nearest location over the phone with a rep and confirmed that this truck would be available for our time frame for mobile pick up. Later that day I received an email saying my reservation changed to a 17’ truck at a different location for mobile pick up, I thought this was okay though. The next day when we went to pick the 17’ truck for mobile pickup the location was closed and the app would not let me mobile pick up. After spending 40mins on hold I spoke to a rep who told me my reservation was not for mobile pick up and that we needed to find a new pick up location. She put me on hold and 5 mins later a different person answered. When I explained the situation to him he replied “naturally” sarcastically and told me the nearest locations for the 17’ truck were both an hour away. But was able to locate a 20’ truck at my original pick up location! I explained that that location was my original location and asked if the truck would be there when I got there for Mobile pick up cause I knew the location was closed. He said “it should”. The rest of the rental was smooth sailing. I am disgruntled that I had to jump through so many hoops to rent this truck at the original location I picked. This put us behind in our moving process and had us driving all over the place when I could’ve just drove up the road and been done.
Sean StritzlThat place is moving so I tried to drop off at the shell station who is also a uhaul dealer......0 stars they are assholes, called original rent place emergency number and he came in and took back unit, uhaul number had a 45min wait. Whole organization from rental spots to customer service a real shit show. I'm sure you do well on volume and no real competition.
