I rented a truck and trailer. The trailer tired caught on fire in the middle of the road. Then it exploded and it hit my car door. I waited 4 hours for someone to replace my trailer. When I parked the truck I saw oil leak on the floor. I opened the hood and The engine oil was splashed all over the place and the engine cap I found it somewhere else. My truck the one on the trailer got oil all over. My tire have oil the door the lights . I got to the dropping side and they told me that there was no annotations on the rentalcarlos V.

The manager was more than helpful. Very pleasant. When I explained about the cab smell he apologized on behalf of U-Haul. That was unexpected after a 11 hour journey ????JACK W.

The rear wheels on this vehicle are horribly our of line. I am the father of the young man that rented your truck. While we did not have any problems with the vehicle, I was very concerned the whole trip from Austin to El Paso because if the left front wheel was more than a foot from the white line. the right rear wheels would run off the pavement onto the shoulder of the highway. I could see daylight between the left front wheel and the left rear wheels the truck is so warped to the right. My fear was if the brakes were applied suddenly the rear end of the truck would swing around to the right. You really need to take a serious look at this vehicle.JONATHAN B.

Horrible experience with this rental and the follow up I received from Jessie Serrato in the Abilene regional office. I received mixed answers from customer service, no follow up as promised, dishonesty from al James Wade with the company, zero concern for customer safety, rude regional staff in Abilene, Texas. I was rented a truck that had a gas cap that popped off twice and resulted in gas spilling from the tank while i was driving. Serveral people on customer service and roadside tried to be helpful but couldn't provide assistance. My son and I traveled alone from Lubbock, Texas to El Paso Texas in a vehicle in which the gas cap popped off twice! I ended up having to tape it down to complete my trip! A roadside person even said that truck shouldn't have been sent out because it could have a fire or explosion with the gas fumes and heat!! Jessie Serrato, a regional traffic manager in Abilene said they couldn't recreate the problem in the garage, therefore it was not likely to have been possible. He offered to issue me a $50 future credit! This is the most unbelievable, shameful service I have ever received from a national company. This location was the third one I had visited on that day, after having a confirmed reservation and being verbally assured several times that I would get a 14ft truck. Instead, I ended taking a long 50 mile trip to Horizon City, where the computer showed that a truck was available, but it was NOT, as verified by the manager of the Mesa St U-Haul store. There was a second U-Haul store that even sent me a confirmation number for a 14 ft. truck; when the manager of the Mesa St. U-Haul store called to verified that the truck was indeed available, he was told that it had been rented. Incidentally, the Mesa Street U-Haul location was the first in which I made the reservation, but supposedly "Traffic" took the truck away to the second location. The entire experience left me with most negative opinion of the U-Haul operation. I have never been treated with such disrespect by any company in my life.VICTOR M.

Please do not change anything. My rental experience was perfect from the attendant to paperwork. The vehicle I rented was very clean and properly maintained to include new tires. The truck drove well and all systems worked properly. Just what I needed!!Andrew P.
