The equipment I ordered was not on the truck. Red paint graffiti on the driver’s side of truck. Despite my notification that equipment was missing, I was charged for it. Still awaiting credit.

Jennifer JamesThis was the worst experience I have had. The lock box for the key neither me, my friend or the clerk could open it. Had to wait 45 mins to get the clerk to try the lock box. Of course there was a line. This is really wrong I lost 45 mins in moving. Then they gave me another van and then there was bottles left in the truck nobody cleaned it out. No representative called me back when I sent a survey before complaining about this situation. On top of this I get charged twice for this, I really think I should not get charged the full price due to the fact the van was not ready. I got a smaller version then what I ordered.
Christopher FordReceived a phone call from this location the next day asking where the truck was, so I explained that it had mechanical problems. No follow through from Hyannis! They told me to get it back the next day and that they would be open till 4. I rushed to unload it and got to the Mohegan Lake location at 3 and location was closed and I had to find a mall security cop that they close when ever they feel like it. That there is a lockbox in the parking lot I could drop off the key. To this day I have not heard from anyone that they had received it nor have I received a final receipt or an apology for the trouble we had and inconveniences. So to say the least my experience with Uhaul stunk.

David DemarestThe roll down door would not stay in locked position. the Check engine light came on. the Transmission felt like it was slipping just a heads up. Otherwise the truck did what it had to do. The staff was courteous and helpful. I am sorry for the broken mirror but did not have a broom at the time, and due to being very tired after moving for two days. I did not leave the truck in pristine condition and apologize. I would have never left the truck in that condition if I had more assistance . BTW I literally slept for the next 24 hours. Sincerely Maureen

STEVEN CARINCIThis is a comment for Uhaul as a whole, and not for this particular location, but I rented over Veteran's Day weekend and was a little surprised to find out that there were no promotions or discounts for veterans or active military personnel. I understand Uhaul makes it money from the mileage charge, but any sort of discount would have been appreciated. In regards to the location in Mohegan Lake, Joe was very friendly and helpful. He answered all my questions and went beyond my expectations with his service.
Steven SayagoFirst of all it was supposed to be open until 5pm got there at 3:15 and it was closed! My get it and go app was not working and had to spend an hour and a half on the phone to pick up the rental! Then when I returned it I was trying to use the app but still didn’t work luckily I saw the worker from the location and he took the keys and finished the return inside . But then my charges were more than what they had secured so I was getting phone calls because the additional charge would not go through . The man I spoke to was not very pleasant and was threatening to charge me a $30 penalty if I didn’t pay the extra $32 immediately . Of course I was going to pay it but wanted to know why it was more he just kept saying I sent you an email read it ! It was not a good experience with this location at all!

robert lagaThe drop off location was misdescribed. I was told over the phone that it was staffed til 7 pm. That was untrue. The drop off location address was overly vague. It was the address of a large shopping mall and there was no further information on my contract on the exact location of the drop off site. As a result, I had to waste 45 minutes on the phone waiting for a Uhaul representative to clarify. Completely unacceptable.

Michael MatteoThe truck when i picked it up was filthy from the last users. It wasn’t clean, the cup holders were dirty. Garbage was still in the truck that i threw out. Another issue was the gas was low when i first started it but on the app it was suppose to be 5/8th. I hope i do not get a fee for this.

Lewis RoaneVan had message on dash that it was in need of an oil change. Van was dirty with trash in door pockets. Prior to this we have had good experience at this location.
Eric KellyHire two people for the office. One to stay in the office and the other to check the equipment when it comes back. Having the customer take pictures of the truck and sending them to you is like the customer using the self check out in the grocery store. You do less work, I do more.
