Gerardo GarciaThis location needs to inspect their trucks more thoroughly and consistently. I rented a truck that had a big hole in the roof that wasn't noticed by anyone before I took the truck but they sure as hell noticed it when I brought it back. So after being accused of causing the damage i was told they wont close out my contract until a supervisor looks over it and makes a decision. Obviously they must have realized I didn't do it because they closed out my contract 4 days later, but this was still the worst and pretty much only bad experience I've had with uhaul.

Irene EsquibelAbsolutely ridiculous customer service . When receiving my vehicle it was slightly under where the gas read on my contract. I shrugged it off and figured I’d fill it to thay mark because I’ve had this problem dozens of times and never been charged or argued with l. I didn’t think I would have to go in after getting the truck to tell the manager this. So when returning it I get charged 27 dollars in gas when even if it was below the mark it was literally one gallon short. Will never go back

They were professional, nice dependable and efficient not to mention affordable. I highly recommend them if ever I move again they are the company I will be calling

I was sneezing the whole time. the mirrors were supper dirty you couldn’t see anything I had to roll the windows down to see out side. There were I ashes inside . It looked like they haven’t cleaned the truck in months. The whole dash board had piles of dust. Worst experience ever.

Mary CurryThe man at the storage facility was really nice and helpful. It's a difficult lot to get into, as there is a security guard that has to raise a traffic arm for you to get through. But overall a good experience returning this UHaul.

Vanessa ViguerasThe inside and outside of the truck was filthy. The windshield had tons of dirt. The yellow "need service light" was on inside the vehicle and transmission would rev-up when applying the break. I felt like the vehicle was not safe. I will be contacting the State of CA. I'm sure there are laws requiring rental vehicles to be in good working condition when renting to the public. The establishment had few roaches climbing the walls and bird poop on the walls (I have the pictures to prove it). I've rented from other U-Hauls and never experienced this before. The only man working there was in different to providing good customer service and I believe it's because his business is in the heart of a poor community (African Americans and Hispanics) and he feels has though we are not worthy of good customer service. Heck, I think maybe he thought we'll would never notice that the vehicle have not been serviced. Same on him but I will not keep this to myself. I will be posting a review on yelp with pictures! Look out!
Patricia DanielThe I haul truck was very dirty. I brought it to the attention of the agent when I was checking out vehicle because I noticed a spill, crumbs, and just a dirty inside can and outside. He acted very nonchalant so I made sure I documented it on the paper I signed prior to leaving the site. Upon returning the vehicle the same agent claims the vehicle was more dirty than when I received it but that’s inaccurate. No eating and we only had water and made sure to leave it better than we found it. I made sure to document everything because when I read the reviews I saw that this location is problematic and I found it to be an issue as well.
Quiana BrownBased on an inaccurate description of the 10' truck, i rented one because I needed a ramp. When I got the truck home, I realized there was no ramp. I IMMEDIATELY returned the truck. The imbecile at the Gibraltar Self Storage (Next to the Slauson Swapmeet) said he had to still charge me; despite the fact that he verified the Mileage, Gas level and cleanliness of the vehicle. As a result, I had to file a claim with Customer Service. I will never again rent a truck from U-Haul. The staff are incompetent, putting it politely.
Steven BrownI don't see what is the point of allowing me to choose a pickup location if you are then going to select one for me. As if driving over half an hour to pick up the truck wasn't bad enough, we were sent to a super sketchy neighborhood. The pick-up location was also a bit confusing, We had to ask security for assistance.

JIMIE BLAIRI confirmed my order on line and went to the uhaul. Worker on this day looked shocked to have a customer. Even asked if I was sure I rented from that location. He never got out to check the van before I took it. He asked me to do it. I returned to explain there was white spray paint on the passenger side and that the gas was on empty. He waved me away saying ok. He originally marked the paper at 1/4, but then scratched it out and put it marked it at 1/8 because the lady who rented and turned the van before explained that to him. I took off in a rush thinking he would fix it once I returned as he did when he adjusted it the first time. When I returned he had no recollection and charged me for gas. So what would of been a $30 translation turned to $55 for only 13 miles ofuse.

kimberly MondayIt would be nice to have been shown the truck and go over details of truck prior to driving off lot as well as have equipment that I requested already in the truck. Although I should of double checked to make sure a dolly was inside the van, I trusted that everything I needed was there but I didn't know until I arrived home and opened up the back of the van expecting to see a dolly but unfortunately to my disappointment there wasn't, which made my move a bit challenging to say the least. Not to mention that the windshield was very dirty and it made it worse when I used the windshield wipers and wiper fluid to clean the windshield which smeared all the dirt creating an outline ???? But overall I am thankful for having the van to assist in my move. Thank you!
shiemier munroeI was sent to this location even though my confirmation email indicated a location on Western. Once I arrived at the Slauson location, I was not expected and was told my 9am resevation was set for 12pm. After a brief discussion with the clerk I we cleared up my reservation check out time. It took nearly an hour to enter my information to confirm my reservation. It was very disorganized and prolonged my move start time by an hour.

KARINA HAYESThe person behind the desk made me type in all of my information including my credit card information while he waited behind a desk. how is that customer service? does he not want my money? In addition to this, their location doesnt have a 24 hour drop off. They called me asking if i was going to return the van soon and I told them my problem of not being able to make it during work out because of my own job. they told me it isnt a problem and that i can turn it into another location that has a 24 hour drop off. He even texted me the address. When I was on my way to drop it off I called your customert service number just to confirm the drop off location and the woman helping apparently doesnt know the meaning of customert service. She tells me that i will be charged for dropping off the van to the other location since the original location never put a note on file about it. But she also mentioned to me that she is looking at my signed agreement and that I had requested the van for an additional day. I never signed anything to extend my agreement. I asked to speak with a manager and the lady had me on hold for 25 minutes before i gave up. She changed the hold language to spanish so that I wont know about being able to leave my review. After I hung up I spoke with another rep afterwards and they told me that it didn't matter how long you agreed to keep the rental for that it they will only charge you for the days you had the rental. So rather have the first girl explain that to me she left that part out to incite more anger from me. That is the worst customer service ever. In addition to all of this you guys went ahead and charged me the extra day even though i dropped the van off the night before.
