I felt like I was a poor customer this time around as I was under an intense amount of stress, however, I feel like my overall experience with UHAUL and the Giovanni location was wonderful. It was a different location type than I've used before, but it worked. I would say that the instructions I got online said there was a dropbox, but I didn't find one. Other than that, it was a great experience.

Burnt down building, no drop box for keys, number for location is not correct. Old RV blocking drive way so had to cram vehicle onto side of lot. Very skeptical looking location.

There is no drop box or office at this location. It is located at the back parking lot of a burnt down restaurant. We searched for somewhere to leave the keys, called the main uhaul # for help, had to call the regional #, go back to search again for a non-uhaul trailer which they had on record as the "office/dropbox" (did not exist) and was told by regional office to place keys in truck and leave unlocked.

There was no way to contact anyone at Giovanni's concerning our drop off. I had to talk to a uhaul rep to learn how to return the trailer online. Utterly frustrating!

When we went to return our truck the location was closed-even though we were told they would be open and hours listed on door said it would be open. We spent almost 2 hours on the phone with uhaul tryingntonreturn the vehicle. They wanted me to come back the next day, they insisted there was an orange drop box which was not the case. Finally after talking to four different people I was instructed to leave the key and doors unlocked. Over 24 hours later I received a call from the location looking for the keys and asking why I locked the doors. What a horrible experience!

This was one of the easiest rentals I have ever done! I was very nervous about the process, however, the night before pick-up (which was not during business hours) I was texted instructions. The answers to questions I still had were texted back immediately! The entire process went very smoothly!

This was my first time using uhaul and my experience was terrible. I was moving to another city and the whole reason I rented a uhaul was to save some time only making one trip. Less than 24 hours before I was supposed to pick up the truck I received an email (which thankfully I checked) stating there is a truck reserved in a different city (45 min from my current house and 35 min from my new place) Obviously I called customer service and after waiting on hold forever the rep stated thAt was the closest location. I made a “reservation” more than a week in advance for a location that had available trucks for my selected date and it turns out I had to drive 45 min there and back, then another hour to my new place. This ended up adding an extra 4 hours into my day. The only extra perk I got was more mileage to cover the distance, although I still had to pay full price for the truck itself and extra Gas.

I was very upset. I made a reservation. They called to change the day. I changed the day and get to the location and there wasn’t a vehicle. I called customer service and was told that there was a smaller truck at a location more than 10 miles away. The operator said she would pay $50 off my reservation for the hassle. I got the address and couldn’t find the business. By chance we asked a person in the neighborhood if he knew of the location and he said a few miles away he saw some Uhaul trucks. We went there. The place she sent me to first closed a few months ago! I was 2 hours late starting my move and the people that were helping me had to leave. Once I got to the location I was happy. I’m lucky I got there! She told me the name was Genoa, it was Giovanni’s! Then she said I could get it at 9:30, they didn’t open until 10:30! Then when I called her for the third time she hung up! What happened to my $50 ??? Very bad service on the phone. She lied to me more than once!

I rent a truck through UHaul regularly for my business. Lee takes great care to be sure I always have the truck I need ready to go. He is quick to confirm that my truck will be there and process my invoice. I highly recommend Giovanni's to rent from!

We were to return the vehicle at 11 AM . The U Haul dealer drop off had no place to leave keys and did not open until 3pm. We drove to another city to try to return but they indicated we had to return to then pick up point and leave keys in the visor. Lots of difficulty trying to return and they did not tell us they did not open until 3 pm asbit is a bar and restaraunt.
