The Glen Allen team was exceptional. HOWEVER, I got there because I was signed up for Parham for 9:00a pickup. When I got to Parham pickup, I waited 40 mins (I had online checked in for 9:00a at 9:00a). In parallel I had gotten a text at 8:15 that I didn't see that my trailer was now "1:00P!". I also got emails at 11a,11:45a, 1:15p that my pickup changed to 1p (yes after the the new timeslot...) That was bullshit. I was traveling out of state with a one day pick up scheduled. If you can't stick your time slots, then I can't do business with you. Additionally the staff is so lethargic at Parham location what should have taken 5-8 mins, took 40 mins to find out you moved my pickup date at the time of pickup. See in this hauling game I am looking for a partner to support me. This is not support, this is adversity... It was so bad, I worked up the beginnings of a startup in my head to reinvent the business model. You can't run a business in 2021 like this and not plan to be reinvented. Be careful, improve service. And pay significant attention to your franchises that actually deliver a strong service like Glen Allen. Change what you are measuring, and quit letting your franchises damage the experience you are trying to deliver.James S.

Uhaul traffic division who called the Wednesday before my pick up was rude, I rented the trailer for a certain location and was told that I would have to drive 76 miles one way to pick one up. Rhonda at the Glen Allen location was the only good part of this experience. I had an email confirmation for a 10' truck so I thought everything was in order. I received a call at 3:30 pm the day before the move to let me know the truck was not available. What good does it do to make a reservation and send a confirmation if there is no truck? And then give me less than 24 hours notice?! People take off from work and make a lot of arrangements to prepare for a move. When you can't depend on the vital piece of equipment you need to move, you have no reason to ever use that service again.Brent G.

No one can justify UHaul charging us so darn much for the trailer. OK, it has brakes! It had two axles! Wow. I did not really need all of the room, inside, but tried to play it safe by getting extra room (space). Asked if they could undo the pricing demanded by the Stamford store, and they said that it is out of their hands. We signed the contract.... and were glad to have ANY trailer, BUT, I will look VERY hard for another brand trailer, next time!!!!!!!!!!Nathan H.

I called and explained the gas tank was not full when received. The person answering acknowledged and said they'd take care of it. When I got my receipt I was charged $44.62 for gas. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that a van driven 24 miles didn't use $44 worth of gas.ron H.

You can improve by not fucking people over on all the fees. I paid $53 to rent a pick-up truck for a couple hours. I also paid the $10 insurance fee and figured that would kick in when I had to call roadside assistance because I got locked out of the truck. The ETA for service to arrive was 60 minutes; after 2 hours 15 minutes and a no-show, I called a locksmith (another $60). Returned the truck and the attendant said "we'll email your receipt" . I used 1/4 tank of gas, so expected to see roughly $20 more tacked on to receipt....not $59!judy P.
Fuel gauge is very imprecise so it is difficult to return the exact same amount of gas. It used to be that I would receive the vehicle with a tank full, and return with a tank full, that was fair. Now I would get charged $4 per missing gallon, but no credit when I returned it with more gas than it had.Pierre C.
