There were 2 cockroaches in our cab on the drive. The check engine light came on and the whole cab and back smelled like gas and now my new couches smell like gas. When we checked in we had to redo all of our information even though we did the mobile pick up and had everything done. It took 25 minutes for us to get our keys.Blake C.

One guy working the gas station. A never ending line of customers. The guy I talked to on the phone never put the info in. (He was at a different location though.) He did try, just too busy.Peter L.
The location was more concerned to sell beer/cigarettes than to rent the trucks. It took over two hours to get the truck and car hauler. It was a trip from Florida to Kansas and the turn signal on the car hauler did not work. They did not know how to repair it. Not acceptable to put someone on the road for over 1200 miles without a turn signal. (I ended up fixing the turn signal for safety reasons.) Also, the location of the car hauler was in difficult to hook up position. A lot of maneuvering had to be done with the truck (on me....not the facility). Only to find out it was one of the employee's cars that was in the way that could have been moved to accommodate the hook up. The representative did not have a good understanding of the operation of the car hauler. Then, the next day, I was already loaded (truck and car hauler), I received a text that a new car hauler was at the facility to be picked up. This was not communicated to me the facility was ordering a new car hauler (probably due to the turn signal). Then the following day, a call was received from the facility wanting to know where they car hauler was. My wife contacted the U-Haul call center and had them contact the store that I was loaded and in route to Kansas at the time. Have rented several items from U-Haul over the years and this was the worst experience. We will not use that location again (even though I did not choose that location in the first place, I was sent there by U-haul.Todd S.

Customer service sucks. Guy was not helpful at all. He didn't even check my drivers license to make sure it was the right person picking up the truck. He was too busy checking it customers that came in after I did rather than taking care of me and my reservation that was made. He didn't even do a walk around to make sure there truck was in good condition before I took it. The truck had stuff in the cabin such as cuticle cutters, spilt drinks in cup holders, and sticky stuff all over the dashboard. Just overall wish I didn't go to this location and spend an arm and a leg for terrible service and a dirty truck.Ellen W.
This location was ridiculous. It's a gas station, where only one person was working on a Saturday afternoon. I got there at my reservation time of 2pm and was told by the gentleman that didn't speak great English that I would have to wait until he helped the 20 people in the convenience store line, a line that kept growing because people just kept coming in. I didn't get out of there until almost 3pm. I make a reservation, so I don't have to wait. This was very unacceptable. It's craxy that U-Haul would even have a location at a gas station. Would cancel my reservation if I ever had to pick up or drop off there again.Robert K.

I went into this location to reserve the truck. This location sent me to the website to reserve I had to go a quarter of a tank of gas to the library to do. I or in all CC information and such. I get there he pulls out the computer they have the reservation but I have to do it all over again. There are spiders all over all the trucks my nephew's knock them off of mine since I'm petrified of them. We get to where we were going and open the back shoes are falling off the door. We only used the uhaul trailer for less than 3 hours and it was returned on the same day. We told the clerk that we would be returning it in a couple of hours. I noticed on the receipt that was sent to me by email showed that the clerk said that we returned it the next day. That is wrong and I do not understand why we had to pay for two uses. I will use unhaul again but I will not use this location for pick up.wanda P.
Always a great experience. The only thing I would change is the movers. I was trying to hire help through the website and it was an aweful experience. Texting at the wee hours of the morning and having them tell you when they would be available instead of working with your clients. Bad experience. Need to look into who is on your website. We should have been able to pick up our trailer closer to home, we had a u- Haul location within one mile of our house, but you all had us drive to a distant location. We got lost and couldn't easily find it. They got the time wrong too. We wanted an early pick up and they had us at noon. He was nice enough to change it for us.Maria I.

The clerk had no idea how to sign out a reservation. I had checked in prior, but still was there almost an hour. If you are going to have issues available at gas stations, the clerks need to be properly trained. It hurts YOUR brand.John P.

The store could answer its phone properly. When we were told that we would not be going to our preferred U-Haul store, we tried calling the store to verify pick up time. The store was busy dealing with convenience store customers, so the clerk picked up the phone, never saying "hello" and kept the phone off the hook. After several attempts to reach the store, we had to drive out to it to confirm our order.Rebecca K.

Store was closed on Sunday night when we went to drop the trailer off. So we unhooked the trailer and left it there for the night. I returned to the location to do the turn in paperwork. At first the guy could not find my name for the return; eventually he found it and after checking out the trailer, I received my sign out paperworkMary B.
Dropped off equipment on 08/14/16 at 1940 (740pm) as the receipt from the next day read. He had me unload it, never looked at the equipment and had me copy the receipt for him to process the next day. The receipt states a return on 8/15/16 at 1012 am. This is inaccurate. This is not directed towards the Grand Island Food Mart in any way. We originally scheduled to pick up the U-Haul at 441 Thrift Stores RV & Boat Storage. On our way, we called to make sure and didnt get anyone to answer the phone. We joked in the car that, "Well, either we get a truck or we get $50." When we got there, we were fairly shocked to find the place was closed on Sundays despite what the reservation and website had said!!!!! Well, I joked to my GF that maybe we do want to know about the $50 and the owner immediately went inside (I guess they were moving locations). He had called Uhaul traffic (whatever that is) and I was told that I didnt have a reservation (not sure what email you sent me that said my order was confirmed) and that nothing was reserved until they called me to reserve the truck (still have yet to reserve that phone call saying my reservation was ready). Well, after talking to her, she sent me to another location to pick up the truck.....all is relatively good. When I was walking back to car, the owner starting talking to me about getting more flies with honey, disrespecting his wife, how he could of helped me if I hadn't demanded $50 (none of this ever happened) and continued to berate me. Mind you, I walked away and was about to get in the car....my hand was literally on my door handle. I eventually walked towards him and asked him his name which he refused to give. He even told me from now on, I will forever be known as a trouble customer by uhual and never be rented to again (I cant tell you the number of sleepless nights that have occurred since...lol). In either case, I eventually left as there was no point in arguing. I picked up the truck at the food mart location (only minor hassle was the chip in the card reader, but everyone has that these days) and we were on our way. This experience was absolutely horrid. The only reason I went through with this transaction was because I was in a bind. From the website being wrong, the reservation (or order) not meaning anything per Uhaul traffic, and the absolutely horrid personnel at the store, I dont find myself ever renting from Uhaul again.Christine A.

The truck needed to be swept out before I could drive away. The truck was in poor condition, did not idle well, had a noise in overdrive. Cashier failed to remove 1/2 dozen pads from my estimate sheet. I prefer Uhaul corporate locations as opposed to small reseller locations.Mark W.

This is the second time my boyfriend and I rented a truck from here. The first time we had a really good experiance and the gentleman that helped was really friendly. My little brother was with me and he even mentioned what a wonderful place that was. The second time I rented it was just to move some furniture from one place to the next - and even though we live in Alpharetta, we drove all the way to Cumming for their wonderful customer service! :) We will be going back to rent from them again and highly recommend them to everyone else!ROBERT W.
