I checked on the drop off locations website to make sure they would be open when we dropped off the truck. We got there and their open sign was lit up as well as inside the building, however the door was locked and no one was there. The hours listed on the door also said they were still open but no one around. It took almost 40 minutes to try to return the truck myself online because the cell service connection was so bad at that location.Tristen F.

The pick up location was a dump. Dirty, garbage everywhere and the counter person did not look at me until she handed me the keys - back to me the entire time. I came at 11 AM scheduled pick-up time. She moved it back to 10:30 and then advised me that I had to be back by 10:30 am next day or be charged for another day because she had a rental at noon. Then told me insurance was $25 and mileage .99 a mile. I told her I already checked in and with the 20 estimate the insurance was $10 and is on the website. I just checked now and the insurance is $10 (collision damage) and .79 a mile. Since I checked in I was at a loss as to why she would increase the price and change things. Told me UHaul changed the rate for vans and that trucks were $14 for insurance but for some reason vans were $25. I was given the key and told not to lose it because it was the only key. Really?? She did not come out to do a walk around, told me to just fold up the sing in the window and put it behind the seat. I would think UHaul would want there promotional material staying at the site. Upon return, I had to go out and read the mileage. No walk around.Nancy B.

I would only recommend this place for drop-offs. The interior of the location was an absolute mess as well as random vehicles (broken down RVs) were parked all over the lot. The location did make it for an easy return as it was easy to find.CHRISTOPHER M.
The truck was absolutely filthy, very bad. The cup holder area was sticky and had obvious spills, it had been smoked in, the windows were very dirty. There were makeup items left in the glove box and trash under the seats. The woman who checked us out had been drinking (bottles of wine all over the counter & shop) and never even looked in the truck. In addition to renting a dolly (in very poor condition) there were over 36 blankets, a four wheel and an appliance dolly in the back of the truck. She didn't look! We washed the windows (inside & out) & cleared to trash before starting our 2000 mile trip. Truck was powerful and newer, so no issues there but seriously could not believe the pick up location conditions.Georgia E.

The personnel inside the store was very unhelpful, and seemed unhappy we had selected to do a mobile pick up. When doing the mobile pick up, many parts can be done beforehand, and are very inconvenient to do at the location. For example, I elected to have alternate contacts, but because there was NO CELL PHONE SERVICE for T-mobile at the location, I wasted 10 minutes with the very annoying representative because they could not contact my alternate contacts who were right next to me at the venue.Elizabeth Y.

U HUAL SHOULD NOT ALLOW A CUSTOMER TO RESERVE EQUIPMENT IN A SPECIFIC LOCATION AND THEN NOT HAVE THE EQUIPMENT AT THE LOCATION WHERE IT WAS RESERVED FOR PICK UP. AN AFTER THE FACT PHONE CALL OR TEXT DOES NOT MAKE UP FOR INEXCUSABLE RESERVATION. A DIFFERENT LOCATION 45 MINUTES TO 2 HOURS AWAY IS NOT ACCEPTABLE AS AN ALTERNATIVE. This was my first time dealing with uHaul and my entire experience makes me and my family never want to use UHaul again! We got switched around without notice, we're told our trailer wasn't going to be at the designated location when I reserved it and was treated horribly by this specific location. I had to call Traffic to get any actual answers about when my trailer was going to be available. The woman at this location was rude, unkept and a dirty individual overall. The store was filthy with food all over the floor where you walk, overflowing garbage cans with alcohol bottles on top, and this woman was wearing socks with holes in them with sandals. The details of her appearance were appalling. The stench in this location was atrocious. We were also unhappy at the way she talked down to us after noticing that the trailer was not cleaned after it was dropped off by the previous renter. We were told by Traffic that this was supposed to be done and was why we could only pick the trailer up at 9am and no earlier to make our trip easier. When we asked about the cleanliness of the trailer, she responded with â€œwell who do you expect to clean it? I'm the only one here.â€ You would think with the Covid pandemic, cleaning the trailer would have been a priority. Terrible customer service. Terrible cleanliness rating. If I could give this location negative stars, believe me, I would. I saw horrible reviews prior to going to this location but could not believe they were true.Lauren P.

This location was not only far for us to travel to, but the person running the shop was not helpful at all. She asked my husband and I to move the trailers by hand to make space for us to get the one we rented out of the driveway. All while they were on a gravel hill. I fell and almost got run over by one of the trailers while the woman just watched us. It was an awful experience. Other than explaining how to hitch the trailer there was no direction on how to drive it or back it up. I would not recommend this place to anyone.Mary B.

The business is very unkept and generally not well maintained inside. The lady working there told me she cleaned the equipment prior to my arrival, but I ended up finding a used rubber glove in one corner of the trailer. That tells me she either lied about cleaning it, or she didn't really clean it well, she just sort of cleaned it. Clean means clean, pandemic or no pandemic, you shouldn't have to get rid of used rubber gloves out of your equipment. I definitely would not recommend this place to anyone.Marc Y.

The iPhone automated pickup and drop off service was horrible. I pre-registered last week, had my credit card and license uploaded and still it did not work. Key code for key box never got issued. This location was not my first choice. I received an email stating that there was a trailer much closer guaranteed for me. I was getting in my vehicle to pick up that trailer when I received a call saying it was not available. That left me extremely frustrated. I picked up a trailer from this location the next day. I am not okay with driving an extra 50 miles to get a trailer when one was guaranteed for me the day prior at a location much closer to me. I am now in the market for a car hauler and will not go out of my way to recommend uhaul. Everyone I have talked to after the fact has had this happen to them before. It is frustrating and makes moving something even more stressful than it needs to be.Evan F.
