The lady tried to tell me I needed to put $10 in gas after only going 14miles like I'm dumb. She spoke to me upon return of uhaul disrespectfully to say the least. When first arrived she was semi nice until she found I was Puerto Rican & suddenly she had an attitude! Grind Mode Arco is the BEST PLACE TO RENT A U-HAUL !!! I rent regularly, I absolutely dread renting from a corporate location, the people are A Typical..don't care about customer's time needs or concerns.... Grind Mode has a limited supply of equipment...but they got the RITE equipment, and the rite ATTITUDE -Customer is first priority !!! The family that runs Grind mode @2901 n. Rancho is the only reason I don't buy a trailer outrite.......they make it a simple pleasure to rent instead... G.CarragherGeorge C.

First time ever rent from U Haul and I had a worst experience. I reserved 16 ft. Truck and a tow dolly, when pick up date they said sorry but we only have a 20ft.Truck we upgrade you,, I didn't want a bigger truck! Then I ask for my tow dolly and again sorry we don't have one you have to go pick up 14 miles away, then when I got at the pick up place the said they didn't have a tow dolly they had only a tow trailer,,, I didn't want a tow trailer! And in top of all this they made me pay 257.00 more for the trailer which I had reserved and made the agreement of total charges for truck and tow dolly for 2057.00 total !! Why did they made me pay for the trailer again !!??? The agreement was truck and tow dolly 2057.00 at pick up date !! The owner of the am.pm. gas station said that he had email the U Haul company to refund me the 257.00 at drop off location. I spoke to the manager in San Antonio, Tx. location and all I got was the same words (it's not out problem. I'm asking for my 257.00 refund back that I was promised by the AM. PM. My 8am reservation wasn't filled until 8:48 causing the purpose of the rental, an 8:30 appointment, to be invalid due to the lateness of our arrival. I immediately returned the vehicle but was charged for the incompetence of the transaction. I am refusing to pay the inappropriate charges.Joseph S.

I had car trouble coming over to pick up my Uhaul. I called to let Carla know that I was going to be late. I arrived and did my check in online. I walked in and waited in line to be helped where I was told, that my reservation was cancelled and that I was not going to be able to pick up. The gentlemen at the counter called Carla and asked her to call him back, I called the Uhaul number listed on the email and she stated that the reservation was all good. Carla finally called back and said I was good to go to the front counter and to which truck I was taking. Once I got it home I found out that the dolly that I ordered was not in the truck after I already paid for it. So I had to drive to another location to pick it up right before they closed. Where the gentlemen at the counter was angry that we had already paid and not received it, basically told us to wait outside in line to pick it up. So overall this Uhaul experience was not the best, I would also not recommend this location at all for how I was treated.JANET ANN L.

I had called U-Haul at the one 800 number and extended the truck because of weather complications in Texas and I was called on a daily basis from the Rancho location asking me to call when we're going to return the items and insisted that we did not extend the truck and that the truck need to be returned because it was to be rented out to somebodyDaniel F.

Very clean and well maintained truck. The people at this location were very courteous. The dispatch person at Uhaul did not realize this location for Uhaul pick up is 24 hours. I was delayed several hours picking up the truck based on bad information from dispatch on hours of operation. Dispatch should never tell a customer every Uhaul in Las Vegas opens at 9:00 am this is absolutely incorrect and cost me several hours of my time.JAMES LEE G.

The feature to just allow you to mobile check in and out didn't work, so I had to go in. The lady in the morning was new but was helping. The man when returning just ignored me because he was new and didn't know how. Very frustrating. So due to not being able to remotely get the truck using the site made me not want to rent using that location again.Antionette B.

I reserved and paid in full online before pick up. I attempted to pick up the truck with no contact to maintain proper social distancing protocols. However, after checking in a gentleman told me I need to go inside. The lady behind the counter said they needed to redo my rental application and asked for my ID and credit card. I provided them to her but when she took her personal phone out and tried to take pictures of them I took them back and informed her that I already submitted this info to U-HAUL online and was already charged for the truck/dolly. She said oh ok, I see it in my system now. A man came back and said to give me the keys. She gave me keys and I went to the truck but never received the paperwork to mark down the vehicle condition. I went back into the store and asked for a inspection form and a receipt. After about 20 minutes I was handed a receipt but no inspection form. Frustrated, I took pictures of the truck and left. Roughly 15 minutes later they called me again and asked me to provide my credit card information again. I refused and said I was going to call uhaul customer service and hung up. While on hold with uhaul I received a text asking me to do the vehicle inspection. I hung up and followed the text instructions. I then called the store back and told them that I did everything through the uhaul automated system and they said ok thank you. I'm not sure where the hiccup was but in the customer side of this transaction, it was terrible. It took me nearly an hour to pick up the truck, I was refused the contactless pick up option, and I felt as if I was being scammed. Additionally, I was not authorized full mileage for the trip I loaded to the uhaul website. It was 182 miles from my last residence to my new home, 21 miles from uhaul pick up to my last residence, and 15 miles from my new home to the uhaul drop off. Totaling 218 miles, I was only authorized 197 miles. So, I unwillingly incurred a $10 fee. The truck was super dated and high mileage. I had very little faith in its ability to carry me and my belongings across 100 mile of unpopulated desert. I normally use Penske for moves but decided to save some money and it was terrible mistake.
