Breaks on truck need to be look at.. Very scary Passenger Mirror was held in place by black electrical tape. Did not notice it till the tape let go while driving on the 417. Not having a passenger mirror is dangerous in a huge truck like that.Erica L.

Do you offer uhaul rentals for half days. We didn't even think of asking but a friend told us that he had done so some time back. As records will show we picked up the vehicle around 9am and returned it around 12:30pm. It would of saved us some money if there was an option of half day rentals. Perhaps a representative could inform the client of different options. Thank youJean R.
The staff member doesn't ask if your reservation details are correct and adds additional charges and then passes you a new payment system that doesn't show the breakdown of charges and charges you an amount he says will be reimbursed after you return the equipment and then you get the print out that shows you were actually charged more and he added coverage when you had already said no in your online reservation. Poor customer service, especially when he says you should have asked him not to put coverage on it. Even though you already said no on your reservation!Sarah M.

Extremely disappointed with the U-Haul truck in question. We picked it up and it had dried soda all over the windows, dead bugs squashed into the doors and dash, as well as questionable sticky stains all over the seats. This would be unacceptable during normal times, but with covid happening renting out uncleaned vehicles is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE. There were unfortunately no other vehicles available and so we were forced to use it despite the fact that it was unsanitary. Booking the U-Haul was difficult; the website wouldn't recognize our information and so I spent 4.5 hours on the phone, being bounced from one person to the next until I finally got my reservation (which had been cancelled two days prior to moving by the Hawkesbury Ontario location despite the deposit that had already been payed!). However the ladies I did speak to were very kind and helped as much as they could.Dany M.

Clean the cargo space. When I picked up my vehicle the back was covered in dirt from the previous customer. Also I checked in online when I arrived, but then still had to queue to get my key as there was only one person handling the customers. There was no option to skip the line like the app said.Liam W.

Didn't know where to talk to someone about dropping off the trailer, asked for a jack to take the trailer off and was told I had to lift it. Have the truck I booked available, don't tell my husband I sent him to the wrong uhaul site when i have the confirmation I did not. He didn't want to go to the other site so you offered a smaller truck you had. Because of that we couldn't fit everything in the truck so I now have to make another trip to Cornwall for the remaining items. I am not impressed.Gregory M.

The online checkin was not well done. The system kicked me out multiple times. It would not accept payment either. The messenger was not very helpful and was on hold with customer service for a long time. The cab had some used masks in it. There was barely any gas. The yard they store the uhaul on was all on mud. I've rented before and had good experiences, however this one was not. I wouldn't rent from this location or use the online service again.Annie L.
Generally clean, but there was debris in both, cab and box. Noted that there was a smell of hot metal, possibly coming from the brakes, either sticking or worn. Appreciated the advice in saving some money with the reservation.donald G.
I rented a 12X6 trailer. I noticed a signal light was out. As no other trailers available anywhere I was asked to take it to garage across the street. I was told they would have it fixed quickly. It was a 2 hr wait before mechanic started the work. Not only light but new wiring was needed. From time I arrived at 9 am to pick up trailer until I was able to leave at 2 pm was 5 hrs. 5 HOURS! They gave me 1 day free rental! Less than $30.00! I would have to be pretty desperate to ever use this company again!Charles W.

When picking up the truck it was completely empty. In fact I was concerned that I would run out of gas. The truck should have had a full tank prior to myself replacing any gas. The charges also should have been placed on the visa that was used to reserve the truck and it was not. I was told it would be removed from my 200 dollar deposit. The truck had a bad mirror on the driver's side that gave a distorted view. Almost impossible to see traffic on the right hand side on the expressway. The automatic transmission did not down shift properly when slowing down causing the engine RPM to increase significantly. Need to maintain the truck betterJohn S.

Pick-up truck was filthy inside and out, it pull constantly to the left and when I asked for windshield washer fluid because it was empty the guy tells me he's only required to fill the fuel so how well do you think they maintain their sh!t? Never again U-Hole, cost me almost $500 for a pick-up truck for 4 day and 400km last year i rented a car from enterprise for a week and drove from Ottawa to florida and back for around $300 all in.Alan C.

I was charged 199 on my credit card when I picked up the truck. Then when I returned it the actual amount owing was only 57 dollars. Why was my credit card charged 199???? I want to be reimbursed this money.Scott P.

The cargo van we rented was well maintained. It could have been cleaner the back of the van had dirt on the floor prior to us using it and we found food behind the pasenger seat from a previous rental. I had forgotten to bring a broom with us to sweep out the back of the van after use and used my hands to clean it out the best I could...it was in basically the same cleanliness that we got it...the only real improvement would be if someone could answer the phones in one week i must have literally called 50 times and only got a person once to answer....the service was good and the guy working was really nice and polite.Ryan L.
