I filled the gas to the amount it was supposed to be returned at, i was still charged for a few gallons of gas.

When I received my receipt, I was dumbfounded to see a charge of $12.00 for fuel? When I returned the vehicle the fuel gauge was at half full as it was when I picked it up. The gauge did not move during the time I used the vehicle, but I did put one gallon of gas into the vehicle as I thought I must have used some fuel. When I returned the vehicle, the fuel gauge was at 1/2 as it was when I picked it up. It as not between 3/8 & 1/2 stated on my receipt. Thinking of the 7 miles that I used during renting the vehicle & a charge of $12.00, that would mean the vehicle makes 2.33 MPG. Does that make any sense to you whatsoever? I am very upset with the fuel charge of $12.00 & want it to be returned as a credit to my credit card. What you are implying is not true & I would like it corrected, please. It was very convenient and all, but I didn't like having to talk to a stranger on someone else's cell phone to set this up. It was super unprofessional and uncomfortable. If i didn't NEED to move I would have left.

Don't go to this for a rental. Rude 20yo kid. Brought the key back to him then he tells me to take a pic of the mileage so I do. Then he asks again, to pic of the gas indicator. I told him it was way past full. He wanted a picture of it anyway. That's not my job it's his. I took a pic of the mileage for myself before I rented it. NEVER AGAIN WILL I RENT FROM THERE. It's easier to rent from the N. SMITHFIELD location. They are courteous and helpful unlike Gulf Express on Park Ave Woonsocket RI.

I set up a truck renal on line with no issues. When I got there to pick it up I was unable to rent a truck. So I called and got through right away. Turned out I helped a couple move last September. Neither 1 of them had a license and they paid cash. They owed $7.60, UHaul had no information on them Just my license cause I drove the truck. So they flagged my license. Should have came up when I set it up on the computer Not when I go to pick the truck up and foil my plans and set me back an hour and a half. I paid the $7.60 and rented the truck an hour and a half later. Truck only had 1/4 tank of gas when I picked it up. The guy said that's ok just return with the same and take pic. So I did actually it was returned with a little more gas. I went over 10 miles. I rented a 10ft truck. Estimated 30 miles I went 40 miles. I Paid $66 originally at $1.09/mile I should have been charged an additional $11. Instead I was charged an additional $77. When that cleared both charges combined on my bank records to show 1 charge for $143.70 and I got charged a 3rd time for $77 again. Now it showed 2 charges, 1 for $143 that cleared, and 1 for $77 that was pending totaling over $220. At this point I've racked up 2 $35 charges from my bank for insufficient funds. I had to borrow money to prevent any more $35 insufficient funds charges hitting my account. At this point what should have cost me $77 has cost me around $300 and I'm completely broke and stressed, I can't get UHaul on the phone. When I called Saturday when I couldn't pick up the truck I was able to get through right away. I tried numerous times to call for 3 days and sat on hold over a half hour every time. Like my phone number was flagged cause you know you screwed me and you wouldn't put my calls through. So when I called from my cars bluetooth and left work drove to my old house, got some final things call on hold the entire time. Then I decided to go to my mothers and call from her phone to see if I could get through from a different line. The call was finally answer the moment I pulled in her driveway, about an hour waiting for someone to pick up. I explained what happened and your rep was astounded at what happened to me. She looked it up and told me that I was charged for 5 gallons of gas and $30 to put it in, it was $50 something maybe $60, it was less than $77. she said maybe there were charges from my bank or something bringing it to $77 when it hit my account. I told her I questioned the gas when I picked it up, I took a pic of the dash and returned it clean and a little more gas. So far she was able to reverse the $77 pending charge and cancelled that one. And I'm supposed to be getting a refund for what ever $50 or $60 BS they charged me for and a phone call from a supervisor. I have Not gotten a phone call and there is no refund on my account. UHaul owes me $70 in bank fees they caused. the supervisor is supposed to have the authority to do that. And what about all the aggravation this has

Have the tank full. It was inconvenient to have to fill it up when I picked it up. I filled it up and returned it with over half a tank. I also did the express check in the day before and it took about an hour to get the truck.

I rented a uhaul and only drove 36 miles i was charged for 88 miles even when the records showed different I have still not received my mo way back the owner of the place was rude and argued with me with my miles I would never send anyone there or go there again

I got there and the guy inside didn’t even come out to check the truck had me mark the mileage! I was pretty insulted by his lack of professionalism.
