Kathy HNeed to upgrade / modernize the trucks. At least allow for users to change equipment when newer equipment is just sitting there and the same type that I rented. For example, when I go through the process to check-in using 24/7 process, it selects the equipment for me. But I rented a 15' truck and mine was 12' when next to it sits a much much newer model and 15' but I couldn't take it instead.

Mark Bside mirrors did not move at all and the drivers seat was VERY difficult to adjust. The back of the seat is not adjustable and for all of these reason my move was uncomfortable.

Carter GSafety tie down chains were not on the trailer. I did not notice the safety chains at the front and back of the trailer for the car were missing until we started to load the car.
Harold RThe truck was dirty when I picked it up. The floor was muddy and the cup holders were sticky. The outside was also covered in salt from the roads. I noted that when I picked it up and took pictures of the interior and was still charged a cleaning fee.

Douglas TThe 6x12 cargo trailer worked very well for our move. It pulled well behind my Escalade. It was clean and in good working condition. The assistant at the store helped to connect it trailer and to check/test trailer lights. All worked AOK.
Duane CThe truck ran fine until we tried to start it Saturday morning. For some unknown reason, it was dead. No lights were left on, No doors left open. When I called to report it, was told to use 800 number. Stayed on hold for 45 minutes till I finally gave up. Jumping it did get it started and we completed our move.

Zona MHave better vehicles. This vehicle was difficult to use - hard to get up to and maintain speed (even empty), rode very hard, felt like the shocks were shot.

Ralph BI returned the truck 3 hour late and you charged another full charge, including truck fee, insurance , rental appliance dolly. Almost doubled for only one day use. Total charge was like $132. Full of hidden fee structure. Terrible. Never use uhaul again.

James WExtremely disappointed, I rented a truck at 19.95 and ended with a bill of $88 that is ridiculous and over priced. Never again. With this outbreak and the whole world in quarantine and people out of jobs and your company take advantage with lame chargers.

Amanda TTruck smelled like smoke. Left the truck with about 10 dollars more in gas than when I picked it up. I went over my mileage estimate by 7 miles. Got charged almost 7 dollars for the mileage but no credit for the extra gas. That small amount should have been a wash.

Shadow Pi put exactly 8 miles on the truck!! they billed me 4.4 gallons of gas, $17.60 !!! my brother and i did not let the truck idle. we turned off truck. loaded it... turned off truck unloaded. only 8 miles. that means that truck got under 2 miles per gallon. we called up to the store to complain, no one ever called back. i also called i-800- GO-UHAUL and no one ever called me back. i was prepared to pay 5 or 6 dollars for gas. but $!&...my son is a US Marine, we were helping him move his belongings while he is overseas, i just feel like there was some price gouging!!!! cab of truck was filthy on the inside too!!!!

RONALD DFirst thing I want to say is the lady I dealt with at H&H was great. However, my overall experience with Uhaul as a company has been terrible. Every time I reserve a trailer, which has been several times, for a specific location I get a phone call saying "I'm sorry you have to drive an extra 30 miles to get your trailer" It doesn't matter if I reserve it 2 months, 2 weeks, or 2 days before I need it, it is never at the location I reserved it at. This last time the phone call came within minutes of me reserving it. So I make the traditional phone call to corporate and the lady on the phone, again not H&H, seemed like I was annoying her when I called to try to work something out. I spent most of my lunch break on the phone trying to get this figured out. What is the point of having a reservation process if it is irrelevant, which it is indeed irrelevant. This system you have in place is, frankly, unacceptable to me. I will not be renting anything from Uhaul again. You have cost me time and money for the last time. Enterprise will rent me a van with unlimited mileage for $50 a day. That is where I will go from now on. I realize that most of your customers are one and done so for that reason you clearly don't care about customer service or the inconvenience you put people through. I can't depend on Uhaul at all. Why would I keep doing business with a company that has no concept of reservation.
John FI mentioned upon return that the trailer has a problem with the brakes (basically had none). The brake fluid reservoir was nearly empty. So must be a leak somewhere.
KENT LOther than being a "tight squeeze" (not a lot of parking space) to return the equipment, the place is very easy to find & use. The people there are VERY helpful too.
Ron MI did not like the online assessment at all. It was hard to do it with the lighting on a phone and I felt rushed to do it quickly so the guy could hook up the trailer and go. I needed to take a few pictures and write comments, but the website was glitchy and kept adding the photos to the wrong area. I couldn't detail all of the problems with the trailer. Paper and pen are much better in this situation or in addition to the online stuff.
