The people on location were helpful, but I don't like your recent changes in process. I also did not appreciate having to drive 16 miles out of my way to return the van which cost me more in mileage as well as time and effort. I can say that I will definitely seek out other alternatives to U Haul the next time I need to transport something.Willard Y.
Online application took 40min to verify, online representative ended process two times without explanation. Staff at facility said they cannot help with the U-Haul and it's all done online. No where to park at the facility, even when returning truck.... Overall very poor experience.Kyle B.

App for pick up and returns failed when trying to add photos. App is a great idea, but you need to put some money behind hind it and expand your QA testing. Recommend we keep photo's of the driver, and the driver licenses in our profile and not have to add with each rental.Alan R.

It's a small operation, so that needs to be accounted for in expectations when picking up or dropping off the equipment. Additionally, furniture dollies flat, square, four-wheeled) needed weren't available and with the delay in pick-up we couldn't go elsewhere to get them.David T.

Hellertown Road location was awesome I will now moving forward rent my U-Haul trucks from there, I will never go back to Stefko boulevard in Bethlehem. This was a terrible experience. When we called to confirm our rental, the person had no idea what we were talking about and told us the woman who we needed to speak to wasn't there - yet we were running late from our requested time. When we got there, the people were not only unfriendly but completely unprofessional. They barely spoke to us, seemed as though we were bothering them and told us the woman we needed wasn't there. We had to wait at least 10-15 min for the woman to get there. She was fine and helpful but it was overall a very poor experience.John C.

Dropped it off on the due date at the location on my contract. And I only had to return with half a tank gas and I returned it with a full tank. Got a call from UHaul two days later saying I did not drop it off . Then U-Haul tried to charge me 40.00 for an extra day. I have used U-Haul many times and was very disappointed.Susan S.

No one was at the UHaul pickup location. We were scheduled to pick up the UHaul at 9:00am, no one was at HR Autoworks at this time. We called four different numbers until we reached someone at the business. They arrived 45 minutes after the pickup time was scheduled.Bryan S.

Pick up said 9 am. They were not open when I arrived. I had to wait 30 minutes for the lady to show up. I rented a dolly and 6 blankets with my U-Haul. She gave me 3 blankets and no dolly. Also they never told me where my drop off location was. It ended up being 30 minutes from my apartment when there was a drop off location right down the street from my apartment. Horrible, Horrible, Horrible service. Will never go back againBrittany K.
Couldn't find anyone to help me for awhile. No one was in the office. When the guy finally came out of the back, he just took the key. Said there was nothing else to do. No receipt. Then he charged me $22 for gas. The pickup location had the mileage and gas wrong. The guy signed the paperwork and said call him if there was an issue.Larry D.

Everyone I interacted with at HR Autoworks was friendly and very helpful. The truck I rented was very clean. Other U Haul places I called in the area as well as the corporate number were very rude, unprofessional and unfriendly, but HR Autoworks and the people there were awesome!Michael S.

The experience we had was very poor. First the truck was at a different location than the original place we booked online. When arriving to pick up the truck, there was no one there to help us, we had to wait 30-40 minutes for someone to arrive. Our reservation could not be found so a write up had to take place. Once we got our truck and left, the oil gauge kept going down so we returned the truck due to our 3 hour drive with it. We got another truck and the fuel on the sheet said it had a full tank but it only had a half tank (which was reimbursed to us upon return in State College). Overall, the experience makes us not want to use this facility again nor would we recommend to someone else. If we could rate it below poor we would. The experience upon returning our truck in State College was excellent, even though the original reservation showed up a different address, they found us in the system and customer service took care of us promptly and credited the gas mistake.Sheri M.

person handeling u-haul was late (didn't even know I was coming) and had to wait 45 minutes. The garage owner was so upset he started yelling at me about how much he hated dealing with the trucks and he would never do this again. (the late person was his wife). He apologized to me when I got in the truckrichard F.

They only had the one truck, The U-Haul rep was 1/2 hour late, the mechanic checked the fluids and topped them off but did not check the tire pressure. The pass rear tire was low and we had to stop for air twice.Raymond J.
