The parking lot was not well kept. Instructions were not clear on how to do pick up and we had to go inside to get attendant and ask and she didn't say much before handing us the keys, also hadissues with the return on app did not workAlissa B.

Reserved Uhaul at a real uhaul place 2 weeks in advance, come the day, "sorry, we dont have a truck for you", they send me to a gas station that MAY have one down the street. I get there, no uhaul for my reserved time.....2 weeks in advance. I switch and get a 26" truck only because I needed one that day. People usually reserve for a reason. Truck was dirty, melted chocolate in the dash, half eaten burger wrapped up in the dash, no mats or straps. I was forced to pay more for a size truck I didn't need, that's right, no discount for the inconvenience. Even though it clearly states "if we dont have your truck we will give you $50" Horrible experience, will not use uhaul again for a long time. 2 stars because gas station staff was friendly and informative.Zackari G.

TRUCK WAS FILLED WITH TRASH!! It was NOT clean, smelled super bad in the back of the truck, smelled sour like. Could NOT get into with the store, none answers, THE GAS WAS NOT FILLED!!!!! I made my reservation 30 days in advance. I went to the 1st location at a gas station, the man there was terrible. I kept trying to do my 24/7 check in & after 2 hours of waiting I called you 1-800 & stayed on hold for along time. Finally speaking to someone was told my scheduling was all wrong. I did get a 26' but ordered a 20' after traveling another 1/2 hr to get it. I was to get my truck at 10 am finally at 1:30 pm drove away with the 26'. Will I use UHaul again? Doubt it!Candace M.

When I came to the location the truck was not ready and the owner had me go and get the mileage and gas level so she could update it on her end. The equipment that I ordered was not at this location and once again I had to go check all the other trucks at this location to see if any of them had the appliance dolly I had ordered, which they did not and I was still charged for it.Matthew S.

I rented the truck and the truck maintenance light was on concerning the tires. I go tell the attendant abt the light. She says it has been on. I told her it doesn't make it right and can she fix it. She said no. So I call 1800 uhaul. They suggested that I put air in it. But I wasn't compensated. When driving in the interstate. The car would pull to the right. It began to rain and the windshield wipers are ripped. The job i attended to do with the truck wasn't done because of my safety. I call 1800 uhaul. They said to ask for a full refund. The attend said the truck was in my possession no matter what. I will be charged. The van was dirty inside, the equipment (van) was not working properly, I couldn't see what the mileage was because there was an error message and I was charged for more miles than I used the van for. I called where I rented the van and they were supposed to get back to me and they never did. I will not be using them again and I will advise my friends and family to not use them, ever.Frances D.
I have been calling since 10 minutes after getting the truck from the location. Had I not had an extremely time sensitive situation and a wife that would have been extremely disappointed had our task not been complete. I would have returned this truck and had some words with the rep. Which I asked for upon return and was unavailable. The truck was dirty! I took pictures. It was on less than half a tank near a quarter. Items from the previous renter were left in the truck. Coat hangers on the dashboard, extreme dirt on the floor board, the cowl was disconnected and the cargo area needed to be swept. Some needs to call me ASAP!Jerrick P.

Not only was the equipment not available for my reservation, it was dirty and calling customer service was a horrible experience as well. I hope it's true that they record the calls for training purposes because the training is needed. Customer service sucked, I had to wait almost 45mins, because the lady was unable to leave the counter or customers to go check the truck. the truck was very dirty with trash inside. she never did a walk through with me. I wrote down the starting mileage because she never gave me any paperwork. then upon returning it a guy took the keys, told me to take a picture of the dashboard and told me that I will receive an email with all the info, then he drove off with the truck. I received the email and i was over charged 134 mile when i drove less than 40 miles. my card was charged $190.68. I will never ever rent from them again.Aishah G.

Vehicle has a smoke smell in the interior cab as well as the dash and console being covered in pollen (indicating that it hadn't been cleaned or wiped down recently). The alignment was off on the vehicle as well; stirring wheel rested at about a 45 degree angle to the right. Finally, the check-in process wasn't the smoothest as the online checkin registered no vehicle on file when I arrived. I then had to wait about 10-15 min before the gas station owner got back with the cashier to tell her where to locate a key for my UHaul rental. As of the time of this review, I also have not received a final receipt for the rental.REGINALD A.

This pick up location is awful. Waited for over 30 minutes for someone to assist with check in which was done by an unknown person remotely. My identification was never checked, I never saw or reviewed the final contract and was provided incorrect information regarding insurance coverage which resulted in no coverage for the term of my rental. This was HORRIBLE! THE TRUCK WAS DIRTY FROM TOP TO BOTTOM AS WELL AS INSIDE THE TRAILER WITH AN EXTREME STENCH TO IT! THE GAS TANK WAS ON EMPTY, I HAD TO TAKE IT TO QUICK TRIP TO PUT 70.00 IN IT! I reserved online and went to the location to pick it up. When I got to the Chevron, the vehicle was ready and they gave me the key, but was instructed that I could not leave with the vehicle until I received my copy of the contract in my email, so I waited. I was told it might take a few minutes. After numerous attempts talking with the person that gave me the key, it took one hour and 15 minutes before I received that email. This is a very poor way to do business and the worst customer service I have ever seen for Uhaul!Martin O.

When I went to pick up the truck, it had tobacco wrappers littered in the back and there was ash everywhere, including a pile on the dashboard. I also ordered two dollies which were not included in the truck, forcing me to drive to another location to pick them up. I understand that this is likely because the pickup location was changed by UHaul a few days before, but there is no reason I should have to spend my gas money and time to pick up something that was ordered over a week in advance.Laura P.

The lady who helped was nice but she was a gas station clerk. I uploaded pics of some of the truck it was dirty like someone was living in it. Hats trash in the cab and in the back someone left items back there. I initially booked another location only to find they never had a truck I was left running around looking for help I held like 1 hour waiting on uhaul 800 line to i Pick up. I will be disputing this transaction particularly due to my issues. I did speak to an agent much later but she offered no compensation only I'm sorry. I also booked my movers with uhaul and they were ghetto as hell. I can even believe they have them on the site as movers. The Uhaul that was given to me was very dirty and was missing a rear view mirror. When I return the uhaul the agent never came out to inspect the truck that let me know they don't care the condition of the trucks their renting out. Plus I was charged for coverage after I opt that I didn't need it. This experience has been the worst service ever. I was confused at first on where to turn in the key. So I called the number and the guy said I had to come inside the gas station to return the key and I would receive an email. I was a little uneasy leaving the key with the store clerk, but he assured me that I was supposed to return the key to them inside the store. At first, the gas station attendant, who spoke little English and didn't seem to understand much either, and who communicated via phone with the man in charge of the UHaul portion of the business, told me there was no reservation in my name, even though I was showing her the email confirming the reservation for that location. It took a trip to the main UHaul location to straighten it out. We finally got the truck two hours later, with no apology for the mixup. Everything was fine with the truck. All the extras (blankets, dollies, etc.) were in the truck and it was clean, but the customer service at the Chevron station left a lot to be desired. When I got there to pick up my rental. Equipment was missing, and I had to sift through all the vehicles to find the dolly that was at the location. This is a rip off. When I rented the equipment online my choice of drop off loca8was General Screven road in Hinesville GA. When I dropped it off at that location I called and told them and checked in the equipment. Now they charging me a fee for incorrect drop location. This is a Ripoff. I will dispute it with my credit card company. This is not the location that I dropped off the equipment. U HAUL got it wrong and is incorrectly and illegally charging me an unauthorized fee for incorrect drop off location. I never even been to Alabama.Clandale B.

At this time, I do not recommend this location. The owner of this location kept informing me (through the gas station clerk) that I did not have a reservation, even when presented with my email reservation confirmation. I was stranded at this location and had to call U-Haul to reconfirm my reservation. By the time I was able to speak with a u-Haul Customer Service Representative, significant time had elapsed.
