BOB AI don't think there would be much of anything that could improve the way I was dealt with. Both Handle with Care, and Uhaul were the most thoughtful and professional they could possibly be. Never look anywhere else for rental vehicles.

Ronnie HI’ve used this company many times, and I will never use them again. I was promised a $40 credit to my account for changing locations at the last minute to help towards my mileage and I never got it. Just terrible the way they took advantage of my as a customer, and then were so rude about it. Very disappointing.

Carolyn HSanitize or at least wipe out the vehicles. Start and inspect trucks before customer pickup. Upgrade future vehicles. Mine did not even have cruise control. Employees were pleasant at both ends but I would prefer a better truck more than anything.

larry gThey opened 20 minutes late and when they did arrive she walked her dog for 5 minutes first and then had trouble put information in the computer and we had to repeat everything several times and the man with her smoked the whole time we were in the place. Very poor customer service.
Wendy KOur assigned pickup time was 9:30AM on Saturday. The business owners did not show up until 10:00 AM. The man had alcohol on his breath and failed to connect the wiring properly causing it to drag the pavement. I had to splice one wire. The office reeked of cigarette smoke worse then any tavern I've seen. The woman in charge was unable pull up the credit card used to reserve the trailer and told me to drop the trailer in Decaturville TN when we needed to drop of in Parsons TN. The trailer was dirty inside but not their fault. We have had excellent service with other Uhaul dealers but not at the Keller Dr. location in Effingham. I'm sure the packaging materials inside the business are permeated with smoke. We will use another dealer from here on out.

Barbara BI had a truck scheduled for pick up at 9:00 am. The owners showed up at 9:45 am. I had the truck scheduled for 8 hours but as it was raining, I asked if it was needed back that evening. I was supposed to be able to keep the truck until midnight. After leaving, I received an email stating that the truck was supposed to be back at noon (2 hours after I picked it up). When I called, I was assured that I could keep it until midnight, although the owner told me she had made a mistake and it was supposed to go out again at 7:00 pm. Since it was raining, I was not able to start the move until 5:00 pm. When I opened the truck, it was full of water. I used a broom and mop to remove the water and put tarps down to protect my furniture. However, water continued to leak in from the top and some of my furniture got wet. I moved as quickly as possible and returned the truck at 7:30 pm. Although I had been told it was supposed to go back out that evening, there was nobody available to check it back in. I have used uhaul many times in the past and have always had great experiences. I will continue to use the company but would not use this rental facility again.

APRIL SOverall better customer service and in the long run was more expensive for the 5 hours I needed it and by then returned it 45 mins earlier, I will say that they did give me a slightly larger truck at the price of the smaller truck but still more expensive the when I rented from Budget trucking. She wanted to argue that it was cheaper. But not over all especially after refilling the tank 40$ vs that last time which was 16$ and I traveled many more miles. Not sure if I will ever use again.

ROY MThey were not there until 15-20 mins after opening. They said I was only their 3rd uhual customer and they put me an hr behind schedule bc of all THEIR issues with being late and not prepared. They were also smoking in the building. It was a nightmare of an experience.
