The UHaul was already dirty in the cab of the truck, with dirt and mud stains on the floorboard. The box of the truck still had strings tied to the slats where furniture is secured from the previous use. There was also trash in there. There were two pieces of moving equipment that I had not rented in the box of the truck, which took up room and slid everywhere. The truck was in bad condition mechanically. It would jerk very hard every so often when trying to accelerate or stop. It seemed like it hadn't had an oil change or needed a new transmission. I had opted out of the moving insurance provided by UHaul. The cashier even asked if I had selected it, and I said no. She then replied with "It's good to have it just in case." When looking at my charges and receipt I had been charged. I did not realize her comment meant that she had added it until I got my final statement in my email. I will drive the extra few miles out of my way next time and spend a little more if I have to use another UHaul service.VICTORIA J.

windshield cracked, not cleaned front floorboards and the back of van was dirty had to sweep and clean before I could load van. many dings noted front to back of truck. had to ask for dolly that wasn't in back end.Steve H.

Rental vehicle was not accessible. I had to locate rental myself. I had to back it out it's parking place, but only after having to ask one of the employees to move their personal vehicle. U-haul representative could not find the appliance dolly I had reserved, so I had to use a utility dolly instead. I was not given an inspection sheet, and was told I would get an app (phone I assume) for that. I never received a link to said app. Vehicle automatically down shifted when breaks were applied, but would rev up to red line before up shifting, on flat ground and with no load.Devin T.

I was scheduled to pick up at 8...the business didn't open until 9. It took 30-45mins just for them to complete the paper work so I can get my equipment. Because there was one worker that needed help with everything since she only had two weeks on the job. Then gave me the key and sent me out the door...let me remind you I had a auto transport that i have never used before but before that I had to go find it and the truck myself and had to hook everything up and mount my car it it myself. My biggest concern is that no one tried to help me safely secure the trailer to the truck since I didn't have prior knowledge on it. Good thing for YouTube I had to pull out my phone to learn how to do it. I will never rent from them again!Jean T.
At no fault to the location I picked up, but 1. I reserved the truck at one location and was told where to pick up. 2. When I get to the location they had no truck the size I needed and hadn't had that size in a few months. 3. Then had to go to another location which was about 30 min in the opposite direction and found out there they had no had truck for me to us because they don't rent those. 4. Then get to my location to found out that the size truck I rented doesn't have a pull out, but learned that size truck doesn't come with it. 5. But because I had to go to another location to pickup truck I'm being charged extra mileage. 6. I've rented many U Haul before and this is the worst experience I've every had.CORNELIA J.

I was told the wrong price for milage but Uhaul made it right. Also when I picked the truck up it didn't have as much fuel in it as what it said it was suppose to have. The truck was nice and didn't give any problems. Overall it turned out to be a good experience.

I can only assume that the trailer was properly checked in. The agent did not do any paperwork or computer entry regarding check-in. Neither was the trailer inspected for damage as I would have expected. With the rain pouring outside, I was simply told to back it in along the line and leave it. No assistance was offered. I got soaked unhitching the unit in the rain. This is yet another example of the poor customer service that I have come to expect when dealing with U-Haul. My ONLY reason for choosing U-Haul is that there was nothing else available.MICHAEL E.

They have a couple location with the same name, so make sure they are specific in the location, also you may have to watch some videos in how to get the car dolly, the lady just told me the number of it and send me to the parking lot to get.Salomon R.

I filled the truck back up to the amount that it was when I rented it. But when checking with my credit card company they had charged $22.50 to my card for gas. I spoke to the girl at the U-Haul place and she said they charged me because it was not at the level it had to begin with. I stopped at the gas station at the foot of the parking lot of the U-Haul drop off and put the gas in before returning it. I have the receipt for this gas. I would not be so stupid to return the truck and not fill it up with the gas I used since you charge $3.75 per gal. I have called your company and made a complaint about this and would appreciate the money be credited to my charge card. Thank you , Judy Atkins 423 994-5486.JUDY A.
