Not lgbtq friendly, rude, charged me double, filthy facility, tried to tell me to leave before hooking up lights, never tested lights, rigged tow chains wrong.
Ruth GreenWe were charged a fuel charge when we filled it back to where it was. The place was closed when we dropped it off before our required time of 4pm but there was a sign on the door that said closed early due to no staff. When we picked up the U-Haul we didn’t get the one we reserved and the guy didn’t even check anything. Not a good experience.

tom welchI had a difficult experience at first when it came to billing. Rather than lay out the whole, long story, it came down to confusion on both sides, so initially my opinion wasn't great, but that changed completely shortly afterwards. After speaking with the first person at uhaul to fix the problem, two more people contacted me, first to assure me the situation was being resolved, and then confirming that I was satisfied with the outcome, which I was. Clearly they value their customers, much more than probably any other business I've dealt with. I was surprised at their effort to really go above and beyond what seemed like 0protocol. So I change my mind. I'm absolutely happy with uhaul, I'm sure I'll use their services again some day, and absolutely I'd refer them to a friend. They're a great bunch of people.

Andrew RobinsonI reserved an appliance dolly because I had to move 2 refrigerators. I was told they didn't have one when I arrived. That was the worst timing and thing for us. I feel like this is something that should be known in advance and is critical to customers requiring this piece of equipment. The person renting the equipment did their best by giving us a regular dolly and blankets for use at no charge. I want to be clear he did everything he could to help and was kind and sorry. I appreciated that, but honestly the fact that the appliance dolly wasn't available created a situation where we had one injury and one near injury. In the future I will think twice about renting moving equipment. I recommend having your areas do a check in on equipment 24 hours in advance and making a phone call when something won't be available.

Jason WymanI am answering the question of "recommending the location to others" as a yes only because we live in a rural area and there is not another truck rental within a 30 minute drive. This particular store is a mess. It looks like they just moved into it yesterday, but have been in that location for 4 months. This store doesn't give customers a good impression of U Haul.
Nora MatthewsThe store is gross, dirty, and not appealing. It took several yells to get someone to come out from the back. Some complaining from the staff about having to deal with another trailer, including F bombs. The disconnect process was also rude, and no assistance with taking off the hitch or storing the electrical cord. It’s not that we don’t know how to do it, it’s just that every other U-Haul shop has been very courteous and helping with the disconnect. we will definitely request to never drop off here again. (This is our third trailer rental in the last six months, and we probably have more to go.)

Paul NortonThe pickup truck was very, very dirty inside and in the bed when I got it and had obviously been used hard by whomever had the truck before me, and not cleaned before I rented it. There was no walk-around inspection by the rental agent; she just shrugged and said "sorry". I had the truck for 2 hours, covered 7 miles in it, and picked up a small kitchen table that wouldn't fit in my car, and then subsequently unloaded the table at my place. I turned it in while the counter person was still there (before 5 PM) and again, no interaction except that she told me the receipt would be emailed to me "in the next 10 minutes". Never happened, and the next day I get a call, a text, and an email from the regional U-Haul in Portland saying they want their truck back, I'm in violation of the contract terms and they have "initiated recovery efforts". Lincoln City never logged the return in, so I was still showing up as having the truck. WTH? So, I call the regional people back, and hours later, Lincoln City finally logs in the return. The truck was dirty and kind of beat up, the staff is wholly inattentive and wildly disorganized, their process is chaotic, they exposed me to reputation risk and possible legal action, I mean, it was just a really bad experience stretching over 2 days. For a 2-hour rental!

Sara HewittThe truck key did not match the rented truck. Had to call the 24 hr number to resolve. The reserved furniture dolly and packing blankets were not provided. The contract was NOT revised to reflect the missing items even though a refund was made. When I turned in the truck, Uhaul wanted the missing items. Fortunately the turn in location did some research and resolved the missing items. Inside of windshield was very dirty and had to clean.

MARK HIROSHIMAThe trailer was dropped on on Wednesday afternoon and the gentleman said he would take care of the check in. That did not happen. I received a call from Uhaul Thursday afternoon looking for the trailer. The drop off location left a lot to be desired and the staff, while friendly, left a lot to be desired. Very unorganized with a lot of clutter and things all over the place. I think you could do better.
