It was a Monday, so office was closed, but I used the U-Haul app to turn in my equipment. Went very smoothly. Answer a few questions, take a few pictures, and you're done. Very smooth process.

Thomas MThe proprietor- I believe his name is Larry - was INCREDIBLY rude and unprofessional. I would beg you to take away his right to operate under the U-Haul banner. He was abrasive & abusive, and absolutely does NOT belong in this business.
Penny LThe drop off experience was a stark contrast to my pickup experience. When I arranged for usage of the trailer, I asked that the drop off location be in Bluffton. When I arrived at the moving location, in Hilton Head, I had a very poor signal and no WiFi. At some point on Saturday, I received notification that my chosen dropoff location was going through parking lot resurfacing, so after several attempts to access the website, I went and made the change to Hardeeville. After dropping off the trailer at this location, I get a very nasty and condescending voice message from the owner. Turns out, the place that I had changed the drop off to was the location that was having the parking lot resurfaced. When you’re in the process of moving your 83 year old mother halfway down the Eastern seaboard, you don’t expect to have to contend with a jerk on the phone in dropping off a piece of rental equipment. It should have been handled in a much more civil fashion, as it was a simple misunderstanding. Instead, this hothead decides to conduct himself in a rude and unprofessional manner. I will be more than happy to forward the voicemail and texts that I received. I can’t help but wonder, why couldn’t he have simply removed his location from the list of available drop off locations for the time period that the parking lot was being resurfaced? That simple adjustment would have avoided the possibility that a customer would need to go through additional steps or considerations beyond the usual UHaul protocol. That last interaction left a very bad impression on me, as a customer.

Jeffrey OLocated in a mower repair shop the air was barely breathable. I drove the truck for 21 miles and it took 6.58 gallons of gas, 3 mile to a gallon !
Richard RMuch better than the last time I rented a trailer. No problems this time. Last time the place I had the reservation showed up 2 hours late and did not have a trailer so I had to go to a different location. During my trip one of tires was bad and the tires had to be replaced that waisted two hours

He needs a vacation because he seems to be depressed with his work...
Sergio GThe owner asked my husband to physically pick up the trailer and pull it to the parking spot instead of leaving it in the designated spot, he wanted it somewhere else ! After my husband declined he verbally threatened him, and cursed at him. He said he was double charging my credit card if he didn’t do as he said. Stay away from this location!! We are seeking legal assistance.

HEATHER KPlace didn’t resemble a uhaul location? No one available to help (evidently limited hours) and it looked like this location had numerous other businesses? Took lots of pictures because it didn’t inspire confidence. No follow up w any receipts/ explanation of charges ?

David PI rent from U Haul many times yearly. Sometimes more than once a month. In all of my dealings, I have never been treated with such disdain. This man should never be allowed contact with customers. I will be discussing this with U Haul Corporate.

george jTold to drop trailer and receipt would be emailed to me, then the gentleman walked off. I walked in and asked if he could assist in unhooking the trailer, i had just had thumb surgery and not able to disconnect and lift trailer. The assistant then went on a rage, use of profanity, then he requested trailer wire. I explained that the originating facility did not provide as the one used is directly connected to my vehicle. Again he went of a rage, informing me that was not the process and the originating facility should have neve allowed me to leave without the cable.

BOBBY TI arrived at 9am, the rep was grumpy, told me to back the 6x12 trailer between another trailer and a truck. Drop off the dolly in his store. I dropped off the dolly and proceeded to back the trailer up. Apparently, I did not back it up far enough, so I had to unhook and back it manually while this rep watched. When i asked for help, he said I didnt tell you to unhook. I told him he would get a poor review. Thats when you proceeded with a profanity laced response telling me to f*ck off and he didnt give a f*ck about my review. I told him I would be calling uhaul, he told me to f*ck uhaul. I did follow through and contact uhaul and expalined the situation. I would not recommend keeping this location as part of the uhaul business.
jason aThe truck I reserved was not at the reserved location. Had to drive 30 minutes out of my way to get the truck. This caused me to lose an hour with the movers I hired, causing more money out of my pocket. This will be the last time I use uhaul for anything.

Martin WAfter my reservations had been screwed up so bad this was the third location I had to visit to get the truck. Lost a day due to this inconvenience. The gentleman made sure the truck was ready and got me on my way quickly not to delay my move any more than it already was. I was supposed to receive an extra day at no cost but apparently Uhaul forgot to let him know. Location did a great job. Reservations and Uhaul as a company was terrible and would never use again.

Edward DThe car dolly I rented had a defective tire that had to be replaced by road assistance. My original reservation for 9:00 am at Tiger Express in Ridgeland 29936 was a mess . The business was closed and I had to wait until 9:30 for the owner to arrive to tell me she does not handle U-haul rentals and to go somewhere else. Many hours waisted yesterday but the job was completed
