The check in was confusing, since I had to check in both online and in person. I had to provide an in person reference, which seemed odd. Also, the location did not know what equipment I was renting and did not include the appliance dolly I had requested to move appliances. The charges were also confusing, and were higher than was quoted, in addition to my card being swiped though I provided it online.BRITTANY Z.

The employee that helped me was awful and would rather be selling cigarettes than helping me with my truck. She was rude and was absolutely awful. Mother truck was dirty and looked like it was not inspected. She did not have the utility dolly I ordered so she gave me an appliance dolly and told me I was lucky to get anything. This has absolutely nothing to do with the pickup location which I have rated all 5 stars, but it was very difficult to complete the 24/7 Truck Share while on-site and this set me back an hour. I could not complete the required tasks in heavy rainfall on my cellphone as required because cellphones do not operate in heavy rainfall. The screen presses could not be completed and I could not type due to the conditions. Furthermore, I had to complete multiple tasks for the Truck Share pickup that I should have been able to complete at home before going on-site, such as adding contacts. If this message makes it to corporate, please consider overhauling the process for Truck Share! Other than this one aspect the rental was great.Edward B.

Need more help. The lady in front was having problems and they had problems with my truck. They didn't even have my truck anymore and sent me to another location. I was guaranteed my truck would be ready or it was $50.BRYANT G.
Several issues with this rental: 1) I reserved a 17-foot truck, but several days before got a call saying that wasn't available within 10 miles and asking if a 15' would work. Although I wanted the longer one, getting notice of this 5 days before was good, and was this the only issue I would have been fine. (This is more of an issue with the website interface.) 2) On the day of rental, halfway through the checkout process the rep tells me there's no furniture blankets because they can't get into their storage area, so can I just do without or go find someplace else to get them? This was the only piece of additional equipment I asked for (and a fairly important one), and to be told at the last minute that there were none threw a wrench into thing. Had I gotten a call the day before I could have made arrangement and planned accordingly, but right then I suddenly had to make an unexpected half-hour detour to find the only other U-haul open to pick up a handful of blankets. I do appreciate that the rep at least called to make sure they were open, had blankets, and that I could return them with the truck (instead of separate), but in the moment having to suddenly rearrange my plans and rush to get things together in time was extremely stressful and unpleasant. The lesson I took from this is that I should just skip the location I used and use the one I got the blankets from instead, since they seem much better stocked. So though I will be using U-haul again, I will not be using this location.Jason W.

THe truck had a dirty sock in the cab. The tank was completely empty when I picked it up, yet you still charged me to fill it up when I returned it. The cab was filthyARNE T.
I could not understand exactly what the cashier was saying at the rental place. I tried to keep my patience with the texting approvals to get and take back of the rental property. Everything was sent through texting and made it long and difficult. They were nice, I just couldn't get a good understanding and didn't like the contract agreement through texting.Delbra K.

Gas Station too busy, the lady working there was by herself and serving a stream of gas customers. We had to to out back ourselves and find the storage trailer and get everything ready. Also, this is in a sketchy part of town.David M.
Get rid of the ants from the cab and the roaches from the trailer. Customer service was bad - there was only one person and she kept stopping to help the people in the store - the whole pick up took 45 minutes. There was a problem with the mobile app pick up so I had no choice but to go into the store to get the truck - she seemed inconvenienced.angela G.

My pick up location was changed without notice. New site was very busy convenient store. Location changed resulted in 2 hour delay in starting move. New site did not have appliance dolley which was ordered. Phone app not working for license scan. Girl handling was as accommodating as possible. Huge complaint regarding storage rental through UHaul. 2 different location changes - Neither recognized official reservation from UHaul. Neither honored UHaul free month. 1st truck didn't start and was 21,000 miles off of what was shown online through the app. Uhual Customer Service transferred me 5 or 6 times and no one could help because the dead truck was â€œdispatchedâ€ already. I tired to â€œreturnâ€ the dead truck online and reserve the other one with Jessica the traffic manager(on the phone), But the 21,000 mile difference was going to charge me Over $15,000! So I had to wait until the store opened. The guy at Harry's switched my truck to the other 26' with no problem and I was on my way. It was an exhausting experience to start the day.Wayne C.
I would like this review to remain anonymous, The number of times that the store had a van is certainly limited, so please take this into consideration when acting on this review. I rented the van on 3/19/2020 for 24 hours after inquiring about the $19.95 price. I was initially told that the cost per mile was $.79 but showed the clerk as I had found them using the app which stated $.59/ mile. I paid $48.12 to include approximately 40 miles of estimated driving (I ended up driving 55 miles). After returning the van, I noticed that was charged an additional $32.19 and called to ask about the charge. The man at the location insisted that the charge was $39.90 and that it was U-Haul, and not the store, that sets the rates and charges the consumer. This was infuriating as the man would not consider that there was an error. I told the clerk that I would call back to check later as I had to see patients at my office. I called back later and was told that I was refunded a portion of my $80.31 charge, but I have yet to see it. After this ridiculous experience, I would expect to receive an entire refund from you at U-Haul if you would like me to try to start a working relationship over with your company. I'm so frustrated with the way that I was treated, I fully plan on providing a google review if needed for the treatment.scott R.

The drop of was a gas stations named Perry's not Harry's. Also it just didn't seem like an accurate location. Luckily there were other U-Haul trucks parked in the lot otherwise I would not have dropped off there.Asha F.
Store Clerk was using a cellphone to check us in. The cell phone had extremely poor service so much of the time was spent waiting on the system to load on her phone. The store was busy so she was not able to take time to answer questions. It was frustrating, but at the end of the day we were able to get everything we needed and a clean truck and all worked out well.John M.

I reserved an appliance dolly with the truck that I rented. The location did not have an appliance dolly when I got there, so I needed to find a different location that had one. This is the location where I found the dolly. I appreciate this location taking care of me when I different store did not. This is absolutely ridiculous that when I schedule to have a product there (something I need for what I'm doing) ahead of time, that they don't have to have the product there. At the very least, I should get a notification that the store doesn't have what I reserved. There were other Uhaul locations in the area that had both products, and I find it irresponsible that I need to drive to go find this product ,and hence pay for the gas and mileage to go pick up something that is at another location. This put my entire schedule off. I'm very dissatisfied with this situation, though I appreciate this reviewed location taking care of me.Benjamin S.
The clerk waiting on many customers as I wanted . when ever a customer would enter the gas station she would stop processing my order and wait on them. I waited over 20 minutes as she assisted other customers. Finally, after she completed my order she entered the wrong location to return the truck.Kim H.
The woman who helped me was excellent! Kind, efficient, patient. But the software was terrible. My online app didn't work right, she had trouble re-entering my order, then it turned out not to actually be entered. They had to re-do it when I brought the truck back. The truck was clean, but the oil light was one - which was concerning to me. There was a lot of beeping while I was driving. I wish that had been explained to me. I did see the stickers on the dashboard explaining it as I was returning the truck. I think I'd go to the UHaul store next time instead of a local establishment.Shelley D.
