This was my second location, the Colby Drive experience was TERRIBLE, I had booked a truck a week ahead & when I was dropped off to pick it up at the end of the day it was not available. They knew all that was going to be the case but did not contact me.

I am not going to get this gentleman's name correct - Pardu.... Anyway his service was outstanding. I have rented U-hauls on many occasions. This was the fastest check-in and check-out every. He knew the system inside and out. Highly recommend this location to anyone.

Both people I dealt with at Hasty Market were friendly and helpful. The van itself was not clean....animal hair on the front seat.....unfinished beverage in the passenger side door pocket....previous renters contracts on the front dash...but most concerning, especially now during COVID, there was no smell of anything being disinfected and sanitized.

Very helpful attendant when I arrived to pickup the truck and had problems with the web app giving me error messages. Online checkout process worked properly and I was impressed how clear the process was explained. Great experience with U-haul and I'll use it again when hauling large items.

These people who run the uhaul rental at hasty market on westwood will rip you right off I called them to explain I would be a little later with the uhual then expected ad we had no shows to help move sonitnwas just my husband and I moving a whole house she explained there would be a 20 late charge well if that wasnt a huge fat f**king lie the ended up charging me and I had rented a uhual for 24 hours so it was to be back by 8:15 pm but I didnt get it back until 12 am and I was charged 2 full days...plus mileage ×2...double the appliance dolly and this was after being told only a 20 late charge would apply so they got double there rent on this uhaul because not only did I get charged for another full day and it was dropped at 12am they also wouldnt let me keep it for the time I paid for because and I quote it was rent that afternoon so on top of everything else someone else had to pay a rental on a uhaul that in all sense of the word was paid for I even said well then they shouldnt have to pay for today then since I already paid for it and they are like that's not how it works if the person who rented from this.location Tuesday I am sorry you had to pay for something already paid for it's not right. bottom line dont use this location unless your super desperate they screw you. And to uhual shame shame shame on you

I noticed that the gas tank reading on the paper given to me before getting the truck over estimates the amount of gas that is actually in the truck, but other than this it was a great easy experience. I would highly recommend going to the Hasty Market for picking up a truck!

We filled out all our information online but for some reason were asked the exact same questions in store. I'm not sure if this is normal or if the store didn't prepare for our pick up. While we were being ‘helped', the store associate would call up the next person in line and fully serve them and cash them out (in the middle of ‘helping' us). She would stop doing whatever she was doing to set us up with our truck and completely turn her attention to someone else. She rang several transactions through before finishing our service. It was ridiculous as we are in the middle of a pandemic and she would call the next person up to the same til that we were at (not socially distanced at all). We would have to back away every time she decided someone else's service was more important than ours. I think she served 4 customers before I asked why she wasn't just finishing helping us before helping others and she snapped back at me and pointed at a printed sign that said that they don't prioritize UHaul customers. Why wasn't this posted online? I wish I knew what we were walking into when I booked my reservation. If I knew we weren't going to be helped at the same level of service as any other customer I would have booked elsewhere. We did not cut in line or do anything to demand more than her other customers. We stood in line, waited our turn, and then when being helped we felt completely uncomfortable and were treated as ‘less than' compared to other customers. To top things off she just gave us the keys and didn't say anything else. We went to where the trucks were and had to figure out which was the one we were renting on our own. When we figured it out, we were pretty upset because it was parked HORRIBLY. I have had good experiences with UHaul in the past but this was so bad that both my fiancé and I were in shock. What's the point in partnering with a store like this if they don't seem to care about UHaul customers and they are just tarnishing you're brand?

There was pop spilt all over the truck there were used masks in the truck. The breaks on the truck were not very good and the truck was running poorly. When I picked up the truck the printer wasn't working for our resent so the gir wrote it on a paper. She told us the truck was out front in actually she gave us keys for the wrong truck.. It took us half an hour just to return the truck this was by far my worst experience with Uhaul. Also the returned money was given in cash not put back on my card. I would definitely not recommend this pick up location,

We had reserved a van online for the day. When we arrived the person who had rented the van previously was late returning it. The staff offered us a truck for the same pricing as the van, which we accepted as we were on a deadline. However, the truck is less fuel efficient and ended up being more costly for us. I understand the staff can't control the lateness of the customers, but it was inconvenient and costly.

We chose Uhaul because the pick up that I booked was 7 minutes from our home. The day before we were advised it would not be there and now was 40 minutes from our home. It would be easier for customers to have trucks with a full tank of gas, rather than guessing how much gas will be used.

U haul guy was rude and argued with me without reason. Also don't follow covid safety rules try to take my id and credit card to his hand. Customer desk and truck was dirty. Looks rarely clean. And when I return truck he try to increase fuel consumption for 10$.

I think you guys should add masks and gloves unless that's somethings I didn't see.. my father place was old and I wish I could have order that in the last 2 orders and one use cleaning suite would bee nice and stuff like that but over all you guys are the best :)

The vehicle I had needed an oil change. Also it was very messy inside the vehicle; around the driver and passenger seats. Picking up the vehicle was a much smoother experience than the drop off. The woman in the morning had great customer service skills but the man in the evening did not. Usually when dropping of a Uhaul rental, I just leave the keys and go, but this time the man did not allow me to leave.

I booked a 15” truck, only got a 10” I brought it up to the lady and she told me it was a 10 but I know for a fact it wasn't cause it was the small one on the lot as well as because my family member also rented a 15 and they were not the same sizes.

The gentleman wiped down the inside quickly and stated they were not provided proper cleaning supplies. The truck functioned but I was nervous driving it as it did not sound good. Otherwise everything was ok.

There was a bit of litter in the van, but it wasn't really too bad. I would recommend some sanitizing wipes be left in each vehicle. It will become necessary. The rental experience was very good - efficient process that wasn't too lengthy. I'd consider renting from this agent again. Thanks!

I got the vehicle and hit the road on 401 highway. there was a snow storm and to all surprise I came to know that the windshield washer does not work at all. First I thought maybe the nasals are blocked by snow. I pulled on the side of the highway and cleared the snow however again no luck. The windshield washer container was empty apparently..... I called Uhaul your colleagues asked me to DRIVE to a Uhaul location to fill it up!!! I clearly told them that driving with this vehicle is dangerous as the snow splash from the trucks blocks the front window.…… She offered me to send ROAD SIDE assistant!!!!!!! and it might take couple of hours.... Why your team is not brief to tell customer simply to buy a liquid and fill it up???? or you can leave some spare in the vehicles!

The location is a convenience store. It was very busy and there was only one attendant so she served several (6 or 7) other customers while completing the check-in. She didn't use the system correctly. We were renting a 5x8 trailer but she entered the information about our vehicle as the vehicle being towed instead of as the tow vehicle and then said our vehicle wasn't allowed to tow the trailer. Once that was corrected it was OK. She was polite aside from being busy and the store was clean but really packed with merchandise. It wasn't a convenient location for us, being 30 minutes away when we had booked for our local UHaul which is 5m away but we were told it was the only location we could get a trailer. We had to change our plans and get it the night before our trip because of the extra hour (down and back) to get the trailer.

With winter in Canada, you need to invest in winter tires. I had to back down two hills that I was unable to get up because of the useless tires that were on the vehicle. It was a regular snowy day, not a crazy storm and I was sliding all over the place. Completely unacceptable and dangerous.

The vehicle was not safe to to drive. One headlight was out, staff didn't know about it. Also missing license plates, also staff didn't know about it. I was pulled over by police in suspicion of having stole the truck because of no plate. Haven't heard from management about any sort of discount for the troubles..

Unfriendly overall it's a variety store so no customer service . Did not review the contract or truck prior to departure. Took photos of my license with their personal phone which didn't seem professional and made me uncomfortable. This also wasn't the requested location and was inconvienent for me.

People with G license might not have driven this kind of big 15' truck before. There should be a little bit of optional manual for handbreaks, gears etc. We were able to figure out but it took some time to know the truck

I did not check the gas level before , that was my mistake, but how will 7.8 overall mil burn 1/4 filled tank?..It signals low gas 1 minute in the journey,the gas was already low before take off but i was charge $46 extra...i was actually ripped off by you guys...it was painful but life goes on.

Parking was dark and shady. Truck was parked in the back in a very crammed, tight space, and was very dark. Felt dangerous. It was extremely difficult to back out the truck. I then found the gas meter was inaccurate to what was printed out on my contract. Took much longer to check out than it should have.

Uhaul system was down. Employee was super rude and not helpful. Basically wanted me to leave without the vehicle I rented and needed. Had to call customer service twice so they could dispatch the unit. They then called him and he handed me the keys I left. When I returned the vehicle I was sent back out to take a picture of the vehicles KM and fuel. I struggled to find the km and I guess took a pic of the wrong km. He tried to send me back out to the vehicle to retake but I explained that I didn't know how to get to what he needed and I didn't want to go back out. He got angry and said I need to be more polite. When I got the receipt I noticed the amount of fuel in the vehicle was off by 1/4 tank. The needle was half way between 1/2 and 3/4 when I dropped it off. I didn't take the unit far and put gas in it upon returning it. On the receipt it said it was between 1/4 and 1/2 which was incorrect. I was then charged a $15 fuel charge. The kOverall it was a long, confusing, and stressful ordeal that added to an already stressful day. The final charge was significantly higher then the rep on the phone had told me. Next time i'll Just hire movers, even for a small job like this.

There were staples/screws left in the trailer and very dirty in corners. The clerk inside the Hasty Mart stopped processing my trailer rental (that I pre-checked-in for) to check-out customers that came in after I did. No walk-around, to confirm rental, or assistance/guidance -- Now I'm being told I need to pay because of a bent fender.
