The truck cab stunk like a mechanics truck and there was black tar like stuff in the steering wheel, door handle and window turner. I had to use several Clorox wipes to clean that up.Jenny M.

Experienced issues with the mobile app when trying to return the vehicle. Had issues with the location tracking on one phone even though it was enabled and had issues with taking the pictures of the odometer and gas gauge on the second cell phone. Took 20 minutes to complete the process.Thomas S.

This is not a reflection of the pick up location, only of the quality of the equipment. Truck was dirty and interior smelled strongly of stale cigarette smoke. It's been 15 years since my last UHaul rental, but it seems the technology has not changed in that time. Truck was outdated and driving it was not a great experience. Road noise was deafening, and the vehicle made a disturbing whine upon reaching highway speed that was really unpleasant, especially after 1200 miles of it. The smooth ride promised by the multitude of stickers on the outside of the truck was a joke - it was rough enough to rattle the fillings in one's teeth. Also an empty promise - the â€˜improved gas mileage'. Lastly, the latching mechanism that was supposed to secure the contents was faulty- the holes failed to align well enough to use the padlock we purchased specifically for the purpose and we had to scramble to find one that we could use. That said, it did start each time reliably. Otherwise not a great drive.Jennifer B.

Horrible check in experience took an hour and a half. My husband was listed on contract and you wanted a third part verification. It made no sense. Total waste of money and time. Terrible experience. I would never use Uhaul again nor would I recommend to a friend. I will probably also write this on social media to warn others. Just awful.Matthew C.

The lack of customer service. The order was to include an appliance dollie. One was due in but never showed up. Agent did not follow up on customer return it. Agent gave me a list of U-Haul locations I would have to go to and find one. No professionalism at this location, but location was convenient. True Value had one in stock so the agent wanted to sell it to me one. Both agents were courteous, but not helpful. It finally got to the point we had to call U-Haul's number the wait was lengthy, but ever so helpful from the young lady that on the phone with us. Thank you U-Haul for that.Antonia V.
You advertise renting a truck for 19.99/day. i used a truck for 4.5 hours, drove a total of 10 miles, and used less than a gallon of gas. I was charged $48 in the end. Your pricing is extremely misleading and I will not be using Uhaul again because of it, as well as telling anyone who considers using this company not to unless they want to spend 3x more than they intended to, and to be prepared for shady, hidden costs. Very disappointing. Change your advertising to reflect the true costs of your services. This is a very scam-like business practice.Julia P.

The U-Haul facility at the True Value located on Eubank, is clean, and the personnel helpful, but the U-Haul business is not their first priority. I always have to wait several minutes for someone to come help me at the counter, once one of the cashiers notices me and calls back for someone to come help me. Most of the trucks I have rented from here are never there. I get redirected to another unsavory location to pick up my trucks. I never rent equipment from this location unless I can see the equipment in their lot.Mark G.

While the staff was professional, kind, and courteous there were some snags: The partially filled gas tank was hard to refill to the same level, some guidance on how to do so is needed. Explicitly, if tank is 7/8 full, how do I know how much gas to put in if I use 1/8? The checkout process was prolonged, which could be the new standard- but some remainder on needed docs and time would be helpfulBARR Z.
