There was only one employee at a very busy convince store location, which meant I waited a long time for a problem to be resolved while the poor employee had to continue stopping to help other customers. The customer service was very good, and I was happy with the U-Haul and experience in the end, it was just frustrating to see both the morning and evening employee being worked so hard with no help.Shannon P.

The Rep charged us a $20.00 fee for his services. I was in the process of taking the pictures of mileage and sending in on my Smart Phone when he came and took his picture, took the keys and checked the back. If he had stated we were being charged for him I would have kindly replied I have it under control. If this fee goes to the UHaul Representative that went out of his way to make this day possible would be Don Szybunka from Five Star Transport. If you need the rental back by a certain time SAY IT AHEAD OF TIME. Don't call me in the morning while I'm working to tell me that I have less than an hour to bring it back. Again, a complete failure by u-haul as a company that leaves their poor customer service reps out to dry.Kyle B.

I understand with Covid things are different. But some people don't like taking pictures of the ID and putting it on the Internet. But he definitely made the experience while picking up way harder than it needed to be.Jessica S.

There was only one person dealing with me and all the customers. It took her over half hr just to process the information and they had problem with the machine. I was really frustrated because I had 3 helpers that I had hired waiting for me. On top of that the truck was full of gas so I mentioned that to the clerk she said that I should had read my contract. I spent $25.18 to fill the tank and I only had used the truck for 59 miles. But on a good note the other U-Haul that I rented a storage unit from were really excellent on helping me and the service was great. I would go to see them next time for sure.Jeannot M.
We picked the vehicle up at 815 and had it returned by 1030. We put on 30 kilometers and was charged $30 for gas. Little over priced.Brent K.

I reserved a truck to move a month in advance and the day I go to pick it up they rented it out??????? So I didn't have a truck ! I had to drive a hour away to pick one up and then was charged for 24 hrs but they could only give it to me for 19hrs ! We are in the middle of a medical pandemic ! I get in th truck and there was cigarette butts on the floor ! Empty pop bottles ,chip bags and napkins under the seats !!! VERY UNCLEAN !!!!!!Darcy B.

Check in was not smooth, had to get all info redone as the clerk had to take all the info again and the dolly wasnt ready to go with the truck. Checkout was great, clerk came out while I was fueling to let me know where to park and what was need for returning process. It was my first time renting a uHaul and i had numerous questions which were handled very professionally by someone over the phone few days back and today when i was running a bit late for picking up the truck,I especially got a call which I really appreciated.On reaching at this Husky, a gentleman if I remember correctly Mr Inderjit Randhawa was there who made me go over everything very nicely and patiently. truck was clean and spacious...had an amesome experience.POOJA R.

We drove through a rainstorm and the windshield wipers were not working, yet when I returned the truck they were working fine, may be an intermittent switch or wiper motor issue. Certainly not safe for the average driver. Otherwise the service was great.David P.

it took 45 mins to get the rental truck the lady didnt speak english very well and had issue with the computer system and didnt know how to fix it she had to call someone to help but would look or talk to us when we asked what the issue was she didnt do a walk arpund the truck or anything with us needless to say we were very frustrated when we leftwade B.

Pick up location was change by u haul the day before pick up due to no truck at previously booked location, this resulted in extra travel 35 extra 1 way km to drive to pick up and return to moving location. U hail gave a few extra km in the price but not nearly enough to cover the move with return at drop of location, not only did this create alot of extra time spent but money as well. The dealer at pickup was great with no problems as this would not be his fault.Brian R.

It was rather annoying that there was only one clerk to deal with the uhaul reservations and the regular customers. It took that much longer to complete because he had to keep stopping to help other customers. Other than that it was fine.Heather H.

The lady which was helping me with getting my uhaul from the high end convience location in Leduc, AB, was unconsiderate of a pandemic to say the least. When she asked for my license, after inputting my details over the phone, kept my license and walked around the store with it, while scratching her head profusely as if she had lice. I was scared to touch my license after. I realize this is just the person hired to work at the convience store, however since she is also representing U-haul in a way, I think if at all possible this should be addressed. Otherwise, my experience was great and I would still definitely rent a U-haul again for my moving needs.lukas B.

Upon picking up the Uhaul, we were told that we did not order blankets, but some are provided if we need. If the seal is broken on the bag, we would be charged, which is totally fair. When inspecting the truck, there were blankets scattered on the floor, clearly already used. I took a picture and told the representative. He said not to worry, we would not be charged for those, as he did not know why they were there. When dropping off the Uhaul, there was a different representative that didn't believe the blankets were already open, and took a while for him to believe me with picture proof and the photo being time stamped. I had fueled the Uhaul at the gas station at the drop off site. I fueled it in front of him, with a friend beside me. The back flow sensor clicked the nozzle off and I parked the Uhaul back where I recieved it, which the fuel gauge marked past the fill line. He then told me the truck was not fully fueled and I have to slowly remove the nozzle while continuing to pump gas until the tank is over full. I orded a dolly to come with the truck in case we needed it. I asked the representative on pick up if I would be charged if I did not break the seal, as I was unsure if we even needed it. He said I would only be charged if the seal was broken. We DID NOT use the dolly, however he marked that the dolly seal was broken upon return and charged us for 2 dolly's. Thankfully Uhaul refunded one of the dolly charges, but could not refund the second one, as it was marked as "broken." Very difficult to deal with, no consistency in information on what is chargeable and what is not. Would HIGHLY recommend taking pictures of everything before you leave the lot.Shauna P.

Took over 1/2 hour of waiting, the attendant was having problems with the computer. I submitted everything electronically, everything worked at my end. After several phone calls she was able to complete the transaction. The .69 cents per kilometre charge is outrageous. Otherwise everything was okay.Seppo V.

Piss Poor english and the store clerk was rude and had to call in her husband everytime it came to anything to do with uhaul so we wait for him to come from his home and drive to the store 15 or more minuets every time told us that if we took the 26 foot uhaul we had to have it back at 8 am if we planned to keep it any longer then we couldn't take it at all so either have it back before 8am or I cant take it them he told me 65 cents per km and he was lieing because that is not the weekend rate and the gas was not as he marked on paper and the truck was filthy inside the cab and in the back inclosed uhaul was wet dirty snow mud got our furniture very dirty they are terrible workers just in it for the moneyAshley B.
Vehicle was brought back with a 1/4 tank more than what was supposed to be in. Brought back early as well and was only refunded mileage difference. At current gas rates that is $47.83. If it is brought back with less fuel than what was in it at pick up i would have been charged for that. So why am i not refunded for overfuel.John L.

This wasn't the location we chose for pick up and when we arrived there, we were told we needed to fill out more paperwork but no one knew where to find this paperwork and they made us wait around for a long time while they made a bunch of phone calls. This was my first time using the U-Haul Android app to pick up a rental. It was not operating properly. I went into the store location and was quickly and politely helped out and was on my way. Great customer service and I highly recommend using this location based on that alone. Very pleased with my experience and I will be using this location next time I need a U-Haul.Robert C.

Make sure the store has the updated contract information. I had changed the length of time needed from 4 to 8 hours but was told it was booked for 4. The agent thought he was so great giving it to us for 5 hours.Linda C.

Need to contact customers earlier about pick up location, not the day before the truck is scheduled to be picked up. Need to put in more effort to make the pick up location the preferred pick up location for customers. Need to make it easier for rural customers to pick up the truck instead of making them drive over an hour to pick up the truck. Customers should not have to call uhaul to make sure that uhaul organizers are doing their jobs. Uhaul should hire someone to drive the trucks to other locations so customers are not getting screwed over.Kenneth P.
We initially were supposed to rent from Valz in Leduc because the Southfork one doesnt have 26' uhauls. We got a call at 8:30 that the Valz store would be closed due to a family emergency and I was sent an email how to do the pick up online. The lady at Valz had set it all up for us. Something messed up, so I called Simon (who left the message and had sent the email) and he asked me to go to Southfork, they had a 26'. Perfect. When there, the lady didnt know how to set up the contract (they are quite new) so she called Simon and he set it all up over the phone. It worked out great! I hope the Valz family is ok and Simon, it was a pleasure!brenda T.

I just checked my banking information, and even though I paid for the rental with my debit card, I was also charged on my credit card as well. So I think that giving me back the double payment would be sufficient!! If it wasn' t for the double charge, I would recommend this place to others for sure. But not if they're gonna pull shady shit like this!!!!Gavin A.
