When I picked up the truck the key was no where to be found. The guy I spoke to there acted like he had no idea what I was talking about and claimed he doesn't do anything with the trucks. After 45 minutes in the phone with uhaul and arguing with the on site person, the key was found in the drop box from the last renter. Guy â€œforgotâ€ to move the key out of the drop box and into the pick-up box or some kind of nonsense. Once I got into the truck (15') it was dirty and there were coffee spills and drips in plain view. Turned on the vehicle and there was less than 1/4 tank of gas. As I was now running about an hour late I just left to take care of what I needed to. When I returned the truck just over an hour later I was told I would have to pay to fill up the tank. I went 13 whole miles and tossed $5 in the tank. It was estimated to cost me about $127 for the hour I used it! A call to uhaul didn't help at the time but they did note my account. It appears as of now that I was charged correctly but the hassle left me questioning this location particularly.Joshua M.
The app would not work for drop off. The man working at the convenience store was very helpful. However, when my sister called a different location in Clearwater for help with the app, she was cussed at and hung up on. If it weren't for the man in the store calling a different contact on Hwy 19, the checkin experience would've been much different. The man on Hwy 19 checked in the truck for us the next morning as promised and emailed me. I'm pretty sure his name was Steve. Thanks!!Lisa K.

When we arrived we were told that this is not a U-Haul location yet and the staff had no idea how to help us. They made some phone calls and agreed to take our truck, but we should not have been sent to a location that was not yet open.GREGORY D.
