My booking was changed at 8pm the night before i reserved the truck (even though i had confirmed it at 4pm) to a different pick up location (different community) as well as a different truck (without ramp) this caused a lot of stress and confusion and was very unprofessional as i made the reservation a month in advance. The Hope location was very helpful with amazing customer service - the only reason i am giving this positive review - all other parts of dealing with uhaul was terrible and unprofessional, would not recommend uhaul.

Lorrie Uwe booked the vehicle thursday at chilliwack (BC) location but the vehicle was not available on location till friday.we have to pick the vehicle from hope (BC) location.
Jaswant DI had to clean the truck inside, smelled like cigarettes and dog, dirty inside. I did not know the truck had to be returned to the same location it was rented from (I was broken down and needed a truck to get home in Okanagan). The person did ask if I was going to return it in Hope, but did not specify that it could not be returned elsewhere. My plans changed about returning the truck to Hope!, but had to do it due to the cost for u-haul to come get it.
Tony MDuring a crazy, hectic season( and a bad car crash I just lived through), the staff at this u-haul were great. They drove me to a bank, let me pay cash as my cc was declined. I really appreciate a the help.

John RThe staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. We had to rent a car last min as we were passing hope, since our Cargo Trailer was too heavy and needed some weight taken out. This location provided us with a brand new pick up truck. It drove wonderful on the highway and the box was a great size. I was disappointed that we were unable to return the rental after or before business hours, which made it incredibly difficult to coordinate. I called several times requesting accommodation, as our moving plans drastically changed once we had a tire snap off our cargo trailer on the highway. The staff wouldn't let me return it to another U-Haul location in Hope, which was open later and their manager was willing to wait for us, since our ETA was 630PM. The other manager in Hope was willing to accommodate us after I explained what happened. We figured it out, by driving the rental to Mission, having my mom spend the night with a coworker, then she drove back to Hope the next morning(Costing us more $$). My 70 year old dad and his wife got a flat tire on their way to pick up my mother from Hope. Our 24 hour move was already incredibly stressful, as we had to do two loads, and I could not understand why the staff were not able to accommodate us in any way. I left the truck clean inside and out and took great care of it. Anyways it all worked out, My only suggestion is to incorporate an option for after hours drop off for all vehicles, as moving plans are ever-changing and all other U-Haul location have that option. Maybe coordinate with U-Haul in Flood hope, as they have a secure drop off site for customers and have longer business hours. Thank you

William JI showed up to pick the pre-arranged truck. The truck was not ready to go and i was told the snow was too deep. This was not the case. I went to another dealer and was given a truck for the afternoon. I paid cash for the rental and received a receipt. After checking my visa account, I was charged 50.00 for a truck at Silver Creek Mini Storage that I never received. So far calls have gone un answered. Stay clear of these people!

PETER RThis location was WAY out of my way but because two other Uhaul locations messed up my reservation I had to drive 2 hours out of my way to get a trailer. While Hope was good I would NOT recommend the Uhaul in Yama (Petro Canada Fuel Station) near Chilliwack. I was lied to and because of them lost my whole weekend of moving!! NOT happy about that!

THOMAS GThis store has super friendly staff . Unfortunately this was not the location I had want to pick up equipment at. I had wanted the equipment at a Surrey BC location not a Hope BC location. In my opinion U-Haul Corporate needs to hire personnel to move equipment to where customers require or request it and if that is not an option there should be some discount given for the extra mileage and inconvenience of not being were reserved. Picking up this unit at Hope added nearly 3 hours to my moving day and this just compounded my frustration when I was told that only my truck was at Hope BC and my trailer was going to be in Port Coquitlam BC. Thankfully before I left the Hope BC Store a trailer (RV) pulled up and I could take that one. I'm disappointed in this situation as I have not had anything like this happen on any rentals before. All other rentals have had the equipment where I reserved it.

James LTrailer just dumped in a dusty location and to hitch on your vehicle is perpendicular to and on an industrial road. Asked for assistance on the hookup and it was given but it was clear the fellow had no interest in customer service and literally grumbled the whole time. They did not do a walk around inspection even though the trailer had major dents and opening issues -had to trust the drop off location would trust me. He just impolitely took off once it was hooked on without a word...poof gone. The ladies in the office were lovely that being said. Only go there if other options not available.
John Mlocation was good but very far away from surrey location. i booked the truck at surrey location almost one month before and i was told to pick the truck from nearest location but then one day before the moving date they told me pick the truck from hope which is far away from surrey. that was the worst part of service.

We recieved a call the day before moving day when we were told that the 26 ft truck was not available and we can get a 20ft truck instead with a trailer. Didn't think the trailer would be this small but the service I got from the gentleman was stellar and smoothe.

Earl MThe equipment had not been cleaned for COVID-19 concerns, however I was supplied with disinfectant wipes sufficient for me to clean it. Also the right front tire is not safe. The tread wear bars are now showing and if stopped in a roadside inspection it would probably fail for front tires . The left side tire is only marginally better than the right side. As far as the personnel at the facility, she was a good ambassador for UHAUL. Thanks for this opportunity to show my concerns. Yes I would recommend this facility to my friends and family.

Horst WHope is a bit of an out of the way place, it might be easier to rent if there was a place in Chilliwack to rent a trailer.
