Lorie at the Clifton location was Excellent to work with . But the lady I originally made the rental with over the phone at the 1800 uhaul number gave me false information. She told me that the Clifton location did not do local rentals . Which I found out was false Saturday morning when I went to pick up the rental . Lorie was concerned and very Helprin setting things straight . She deserves a kudos from Uhaul for excellent experience and customer service .Robert W.

The lady was SUPER RUDE! I selected to do the completely online option where I don't have to interact with a person and I check my truck out on my own and she came out there and very rudely asked â€œcan I help you?â€ I told her no ma'am I am just doing the online check out for the truck to which she replied you have to come in I have the keys and walked off. Now I chose this option so I wouldn't have to stand around inside but no biggie I go in, then she was like â€œlicenseâ€ so I handed it to her even though I already took pics of it for check in process then she sat it on the box she had her laptop on then kept punching keys down and when she was done she just sat the keys next to my license and was like â€œkeysâ€ didn't hand them to me or anything so I said thank you to which I got no reply so I picked up my keys and license. Thankfully I didn't need help or anything because she immediately took off and gave no opportunity to inspect truck at all. Would recommend NOT EVER GOING HERE!!HAYLY P.

The location was good ... but the online / app process was not very efficient. The idea of needing a 2nd and 3rd person to reference the rental is useless (our 3rd person we provided was my 16 yr old daughter) ... all it did was take more time to get our rental which interfered with our moved.Mark M.

Make sure trucks are maintained, oil changed and everything. Make sure the trucks are cleaned. And fixed... This company cost me 200 dollars in damage bc the cab and the box poors water when it rains..i had to throw away alot of my stuff because of it im thinking about a lawyer.Curtis B.

Our truck had less that 1/2 tank of gas when we got it. We realized half way through our drive that the back break lights and turn signals were not working, then the check engine came on. When we were on the way to return the truck it stalled twice! I called u-haul when i realized the break lights were not working, and that the check engine light had come on. I told them I was unsatisfied with the truck and the danger that it could have potentially put us in. I asked for a discount or a refund and was told they couldn't do that. Which i was fine with at first until the truck stalled twice on the way to return it. I have rented many uhaul trucks in the past, but this was the most unpleasant and scary rental I have had.Jayleene H.

Dropped off truck at this site. No one offered to check it out while I was there. Just drop, leave key, and go. So assuming that everything checked out OK. Would have been nice to get an inspection and sign-off while there.kate C.
CLIFTON LOCATION WAS GOOD AND WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY TO GET THE TRUCK I RESERVED FROM ANOTHER LOCATION THE NIGHT BEFORE. PROBLEM WAS CORPORATE HAD CALLED ME AND TOLD ME I HAD TO PICK UP THE TRUCK IN A DIFFERENT LOCATION. I DROVE THERE ONLY TO FIND OUT IT HAD BEEN MOVED TO MY ORIGINAL RESERVED LOCATION. The local agent does a great job. The equipment was fine. Uhaul however is completely unreasonable and unresponsive. When our plans changed since we finished the move quickly, Uhaul would not allow us to change our round-trip rental to a one-way without charging 3-4X the contract price. Had we booked a one-way move initially it would have been substantially less than a round trip. Ridiculous! I'll certainly remember Uhaul next time and choose another company.George R.

Send an email sooner about where equipment needs to be returned. I had already dropped trailer off at another location when you sent email about where I needed to drop off. I had to go back and get trailer and deliver to new location. Not very helpfulderrel T.
