Would ask U-Haul include the mileage to/from pick-up then to/from the destination to drop off. The appearance comes across as "nickel and diming" clients. While one can call the location for an immediate reservation and factor in the additional mileage. U-Haul seemingly should have a system in place to calculate "load location" to where the pick up is. then destination and drop off. Additionally - was charged additional money for fuel. Shared with the attendant at U-Haul the gas pump would no longer allow more fuel to be put in. Some of the items may seem trivial, but come across as "nickel and diming" clients.Joseph S.

We were greatly assisted in the beginning of our UHaul experience. A long-distance move was under way and there were "left over's" after a Uhaul pod, etc. A 5x8 trailer was arranged at Store-U-Self, Derry, NH and we learned there that our vehicle needed a light harness installed. We were assisted by Teresa who is exceptionally knowledgeable of trailer hookups and customer courtesy. She phoned ahead to the Manchester Hub to arrange the light harness and trailer--selflessly giving away all credit for her work with us. Sam, general manager, at UHaul Hub in Manchester took good, expedient care with our vehicle. Soon we were hooked up to the trailer and on our way. A trip that was to have started at 8AM was only delayed by 4 hours after all the work done. Later in the trip, we had to have the 2" drop ball turned over on our vehicle in order to keep from dragging. In Dry Ridge, KY, the UHaul dealer there recommended a gentlemen about a mile from our lodging to take care of that problem. In a blink of an eye, that problem was resolved as well. Your company must have good people throughout the nation. We appreciate all the UHaul people that we met along the way but we specifically wanted to mention the ones we noted above.James W.

After moving out, and leaving box springs, due to having rats nest inside them, the manager used my past information to charge my debit card. This was the second Uhaul we visited in my area. The first was out of small trucks. This one had a mid size truck- which was still too big for our needs. We ending up paying more than we wanted since we couldn't find the applicable truck size for our needs.Dolores R.

Definitely not a full service stop but clean and helpful staff. Rented a unit and unloaded most of our stuff here. Got locked in cause our access code didn't work. Also returned the truck here but after hours so I wouldn't have to come back the next day and that turned I to a mess cause it put the drop off at a different location. Called as soon as I found out but looks like I got charged for an extra day. So that sucks.Creed H.
I was very disappointed with the pick up. I was given a code to get in and was told that same code would get me out. The code did not work to get out. After calling the office, calling UHaul and calling the local police department, I had to call 911 because no one was able to help me. When I was on the line with 911,I received a call from the location manager giving me a different code to get out. Would have saved me a lot of time and grief had I been given the right code in the first place.Nazario C.

The UHaul website states $10 for a bundles of 10 furniture blankets. I ordered two bundles . Unfortunately the blankets we received were in bundles of 6 rather than 10 and we had to go back to the location and still did not receive the 20 blankets ordered. We received 18 and returned 18.Georgann S.

My refusal to recomend is based on the services through uhaul, not the location. Uhaul has charged me twice and charged me a fuel charge because I left the truck with the amount of gas given to me. I picked up the vehicle with 3 quarters of a tank and that is how I dropped it off. On top of all of that, the pickup process was hellacious, my reservation was changed and when changing it they took off my tow dolly without me realizing it until picking up the vehicle so I was out of a tow dolly, the windshield wipers did not work so I was essentially given an unsafe vehicle to drive. I'm waiting to hear back from my bank about my double charge as well. Uhaul was a terrible choice to go with, never ever again will I use them and I will never ever recomend them to anyone ever again.Dustin E.
