I would say not to use this place. I’ve had the worst experience with this rental. First, the truck was not there. The place said they would take money off for being late but then they added $199 to the contract for insurance. I have insurance, I didn’t need any additional. Then, the truck that was delivered was in poor condition. The entire ride was bumpy. I thought it was a tire which was bald on the outside. I have a picture of how horrible this tire is.

Service was great BUT prices should be changed for those who do NOT use the miles a lot as myself. I moved my stuff to my new home 3 miles away and just used it to unpack and it sat in front of my new house for 2 days with very little milage so I should NOT have been charged as much as I was but the manager is going to look into it for me which is very nice on his part. Hopefully it will be resolved.

Have a dolly available in the truck to use,there was no dolly available.I had a move and up 3 flights of stairs on a 3rd floor.Made everything much more difficult for me.

I never signed up for any additional products or coverage and was shocked to find out that I was over charged for a coverage I didn’t elect. Please look into this matter it was clear at the time I made the reservation that I did not get any coverage because I had to read and sign the disclosure regarding compensation if I damaged the haul truck. I reserved the truck online to be picked up from a U-Haul location close to my home. I received a call that they changed the pick up location to one a half hour drive from me. I was told that was the only place to pick up the vehicle, which was a major inconvenience. I don't quite understand why if the site says pick up available at your location, they cannot make sure the vehicle is at that location? Customer service rep got an earful from me about it, so they appeased me with credit to my account. Upon inspection of the vehicle, the exterior was so dirty, it was hard to verify damage. The truck looked like it had just been through an off-road cross country race. Overall, I am disappointed, as I have used U-Haul many times and never encountered these problems before. Checkout was swift and friendly, so my honest evaluation for this particular purchase is below average. At least the truck had no mechanical issues....

Make sure the truck is running at tip top shape make sure the tires have air you don't need an oil change in the gauges work for the speed limit

The guy who runs this location is rude, wasn't there when I went to get my truck. Said my apt was for 12pm. I sent him my reservation that said 10Am and he said there must be a problem with Uhauls computers. By the time he got back and dealt with the other person waiting I didn't get out of there until after 11. Then they charged me $34 extra and said $25 was a cleaning fee! I swept that truck out before I brought it back. So if anything there were footprints from the wet ground. (If they were that thorough with the person that rented before me there wouldn't have been an old razor under the front seat or an empty water bottle. There was also an eye lash brush and cue tip in the back that I swept out before I sterted loading. Then he says well the strap on the hand truck wasn't rolled up like it was when I got it from him. You'd think after screwing up my apt time they would be a little nicer instead of screwing me again. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! DONT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION! They probably won't post this so I'll be posting the same thing on all social medias as well.

Make sure customers are notified about changes in a timely manner. I made a reservation at a certain location. The next day I went to that location and I was told my reservation was moved to a further location and at a later time. I had received no email or text to notify me. So now I had to pay for extra miles because of the further location and lost 2-3 hours of time. If I was notified I may have been able to make other arrangements as far as reserving a truck for another day.

Do not make it automatic to take out damage insurance when you schedule on line, before you even get a truck to rent.

The large trailers need to have a tongue jack to enable easy hook up by a single person. I had to use a floor jack to unhook the 6 x 12 trailer from my truck.
