The truck had significant body damage that had not been repaired (several noted dents and scrapes, some new), the gas tank had been siphoned and was completely empty, which I was informed happens regularly. If something is a known problem, I would expect UHaul to take the necessary steps to keep the equipment up to a basic standard. That being said, the location is very convenient and staff very friendly and helpful, it's just a shame the company doesn't do more to protect and maintain their vehicles.Sara K.

Grace was a lifesaver! She assisted me with booking a 10' truck after another Uhaul location closed their doors 30 minutes prior to the online close time and left me hanging. I was able to come in a little after hours since she stayed after to help me. I was driving all the way from Magnussen Park which was 30 minutes in good traffic. I was stressed and Grace was so kind and generous with her time to help out another person at the last minute. I don't think I could have called a better Uhaul location. 5 star service and check-in and drop off after hours was super easy! Thank you, Grace!!!MALALAY S.

Wow!!! Michelle was amazing. As well as Grace two amazing ladies Rockin it!!! I had a 26' U-Haul truck that I hauled from Florida to Washington. The storage space was super clean and spacious. These ladies GO totally out of their way to help in any needs possible. I was helped with last minute movers. And they were recommended Great!!!! These ladies are knowledgeable, helpful and GO out of their way to help you resolve anything you may need. I am so thankful I found this storage place. I was able to leave my rental truck their. The website process was horrible. Checking in to get the van took longer and was more trouble than going in to meet with the person working, who you have to meet with at the end anyway. A lot of time wasted trying to get the website to work for a more complicated pickup. Dropping off was even worse, the website froze or just had some issue kicking me out and I had to try to complete the return 4 times before it finally went through. This included retaking every single picture and answering every question again. It was also glitchy the entire time, sometimes you'd answer a question and the page would look like it just went to another page, then when you interact again it's in another part of the page you were initially on. I tried multiple browsers and almost another phone, I've never had such a problem with a website before and truly hope it was a random issue.Dustin B.

Maybe check your trucks beforehand to make sure crackheads don't puncture the gas tank. Also have a woman who works there without and attitude that she doesn't care.CHEYENNE S.

Michelle and her staff at this location were wonderful. What I didn't like was the app. It allowed me to reserve a vehicle for 9:am when that facility didn't open until 9:30am That location placed there vans in a secured lot so I was not able to retrieve the van with your "scan and go self checkout". There was so much wrong with this app that I would rather rent a van or truck from one of the car rental company.FRANCES R.

I was in Seattle to move my daughter from one apartment to another, which can be a very stressful time. Michelle helped us rent and return a van with her professional and accommodating manner. She facilitated our entire experience with her experience and expertise. I was charge for two days?? The drop off time was incorrectly recorded on my invoice. It was returned at 5:15pm not after hours. The uhaul was also in very poor condition.Mark B.
Picking up and dropping off my U-haul at this location was easily my best u-haul experience ever. The Uhaul app is terrible. During return I took photos of odometer and fuel meter and clicked continue. It was not uploading pics and throwing an error. I tried several times, called customer care and after wasting my time for 30 min, tried the return on uhaul website on the browser. It worked. The app is very bad. I was amazed at how easy this was! It was especially impressive that the information about the truck (like mileage, fuel status) was already populated when I did the self check-in. Everything went smoothly. I think it might be helpful to mention to people doing self check-in that they may need a second form of identification, like a passport, if they are not moving with someone else. Thankfully I did have someone else, but I certainly didn't have my passport on me.Erin B.

Maybe break down the daily rate to an hourly rate. I mean it's a great money model for uhaul to rent the same truck out every couple of hours for the full day rate but not a great deal for the customer. I paid a full day rate and only used it for 2 hours. And, why such a high per mileage charge? I drove 15 miles, total, and it cost me more than the daily rental fee. Maybe, go one way or the other. If someone is paying the full day rate, for two hours, maybe don't start charging an additional mileage rate until they get above a certain amount. Other than it costing me $30/hour, it was a great experience. The woman at the Armory location was awesome! She deserves a raise in pay for being an excellent representation of the company.Julius B.

Never again. After going through lengthy and thorough online reservation process complete with credit card verification, drivers lic, etc.., I was required to submit (at rental facility) multiple personal contacts (name, phone, address, email) to complete reservation. Do I really need to offer up my friends and family as sacrificial lambs to the Uhaul data base (wtf are you going to do with that information???) in order to rent you 10' cube truck for $20/day?? The check in process was even more painful requiring submission of no less that 8 photographs detailing parking location (same as pickup and ONLY option), interior floor and box (much cleaner than the condition I took delivery), gas gauge, odometer, etc.. no less than a 20 minute exercise. Felt bad for the poor kid working the desk who probably couldn't get a job anywhere else saddled with executing this shit protocol. Off to Yelp and Google.JOHN H.

The woman at the location was amazing but uhaul needs to fix their system. Apparently I rented from a third party location their hours and options are different then what I made my reservation for. 1. Reservation 9:00, location opens at 9:30. I had movers scheduled for 9:30. 2. Reservation drop-off at a different location. Third party location requires truck returned to them. Doubling miles and adding an hour. There is another uhaul down the street. If I was aware of these issues I would have just changed locations.BRIDGET C.

They gave me a van with fuel close to 20% Apparently if the tank is close to 15% and you don't choose self refill option they charge you $30 extra. Service was good, but they found a way to mint money.NAVEEN G.

Give more notice about needing to have 2 additional contacts available to answer a phone call yay the time of pick up when doing contactless pickup. I didn't know that was necessary and it really delayed my pick up because I had to call 2 friends to make sure they would be able to take a call just to verify that I was picking up this U-Haul.Christina L.

When I reached the truck was not there and then they routed me to another location (after at least a one hour wait) when online it said I have a guaranteed appointment (otherwise they will re-imburse 50$), horrible experience, will never recommend U-haul again to anyone. I even spoke to the Uhaul manager in Tacoma and she wasn't helpful either.Shishir A.
