The first local U-Haul vendor totally screwed up my order. Was fortunate to have found another vendor and did an on line order. Interstate vendor helpful once I located the place.

The vehicle dash displayed message: change engine oil soon, upon starting the vehicle. But because I was using the van for a short local move it did not concern me. However if I was renting for a long distance it would have concerned me.

Sent us to pick up a truck and the please was closed because owner was in hospital. He informed Uhaul not to schedule his location weeks before. Had to drive 40 min to find out we had no truck. then they could only get us a 10' truck and not a 15" truck. No discount for our troubles. Then we dropped it off and was charged an additional 80$ for having truck 2 additional days which we never did. Never use you again!

I am super disappointed in the service from Ihaul. I had made a reservation for a larger trailer a week prior to renting and I was told one day before that there was not that size trailer available at the location I had reserved. I was told there would be one more then a hour away. I was told by a U-Haul representative that a reservation is no garantie for getting a trailer you need and reserve. Totally unexceptionable to be told on one day notice that I would have to drive 2 1/2 hrs for something I had reserved at 25 minutes away. This all was from U-HAUL and not from the local rental place.

First off! The Truck was late to be delivered it was suppose to be brought back at 8pm the night before I rented it! I had to wait a 1/2 hr for the Inconsiderate person to bring it back! It was Brought back with less then a 1/2 tank of Gas! I will not rent from this Uhaul again! 👍😠

The gas was 7 miles to empty. It would be better if these trucks are at least a quarter tank full. Otherwise, everything was good. Great customer service!

Great nice truck. Fast service. But the guy over there is a nasty hatter, hates you if you're Jewish, hates you if you voted Trump, hates you if you voted Biden. And would just try to get in an argument and help you or answer your questions.

Start prosecuting your location dealers that rip off customers by overcharging them for mileage and fuel upon return of trucks that are dropped off after hours. The worst experience EVER!!!!!!!!

Everything about the rental was great. The person who checked me out was fast (a few minutes), helpful and personable; the van was ready to go (clean, all damage marked) and operated perfectly. There are several UHAUL locations in Monticello, NY but this is the one to use.

When we arrived very early in the morning for our self checkout it was not clear where the lock boxes were. The rude employee who happened to be there pointed us in the right direction. A simple description in the online instructions stating that the boxes are along the fence would be great! Then we found we had been given the wrong lock code. We happened to guess the code since it was one letter off from a common word. Once we opened it, the key wasn’t in the box. The only plus side is that when we called the local number provided, the person was very responsive and called the employee onsite to give us the key very quickly. If we had been there when no one else was, it would have been a huge inconvenience. Overall a very bad experience to add to the stress of moving.

The service was good. The location is an auto repair shop that is very cluttered and it's a mess. Distance from my requested pickup location was ok.

Equipment straps were not very good condition !

The pick up location was filthy. The dollys and blankets were just put in the back of the truck and not secured. The truck cab was also dirty and muddy.

Good location. Ordered a 10' foot truck but had to take a 15' truck as the smaller trucks were not available for one-way rentals at this location.

I Had to Rent 2 Ten Foot Trucks, Because There Was Not One Location in Sullivan County That Had a 15 Foot Truck. The Fact That I Reserved a 15 Foot Truck 3 Weeks Ago & Still Could Not Get One Upsets Me!

Overall experience was great, but the self sign out was very confusing. Luckily, the staff was in early and was able to assist, otherwise I would not have been able to sign out the U-Haul. Overall took a while to sign out, but the staff was very helpful.

I walked in and took pictures of all the inappropriate stickers, posters and slogans that were on the walls of that place. My wife who was with me, thought that I wasn't going to come out alive. That was an extremely scary experience. I will never go there again.

Couldn't find the location GPS was showing a empty lot rode for a bit Uhaul sign covered in brush and the y'all had the nerve to charge for extra miles , this is very piss poor service ..would like a refund for the extra charges and if not I will spread the word to my friends about what happened..thank you have a nice day

When coming from the opposite direction of route 17b the GPS is not accurate and the location is actually a bit further down the road - just something that might want to be included when providing the address via email/text.
