Ipw WrestlingWe were charged extra for miles we didn't drive. We also reserved the truck from another location, but they suddenly didn't have the truck and we were directed to another location. They also didn't tell us we had to return it to the original location not the pick up location so we did have extra driving from that. It was a pretty awful experience that cost us $40 more than we were told we would being paying.
Sarah SlannWiFi is intermittent at this area, on-line completion of check in and out was hampered by lack of a solid connection. Not necessarily the fault of the station.

DJ' S TowingThe web site sucks bad, it would not let me put in my information when picking up the truck. It took me an 1 1/2 just to go back and forth with someone on the phone, and to finally have someone do it over the phone. Would not recommend pick up at a location that isn’t open.

Also he tried to give us a truck with a broken key. He had tapped up the key like what. Obviously it didn't work so I spent another 30 minutes getting a different truck. I will never go to that spot again

Mike MclaughlinThe truck we reserved wasn't available and gave us a bigger truck then we needed using more fuel. The truck had some kind of oil inside ruined 2 of my toe down straps and oil on the bottom of all the storage totes causing more work as everything had to be cleaned before being brought into the home. The inside of the truck smelled like wet dog. Not happy about this rental.

Joel CombsSince drop off was after hours, I saw no one. The web site did not allow me to upload pictures. If this happens to you be sure to take plenty of pictures and call customer service so there is a record. This drop off location tried to charge me for fuel but I had pictures to support my claim. The customer service center was helpful and English is their first language! Nice to understand and be understood!

Joseph WilsonI was 30 min late returning the uhaul rental. I informed the agent roads were slick, and snow covered so I took extra care and time in driving, he said that was fine no concerns. I checked my bank statement checking the charges and was upset to see a an extra charge of 57 dollars added to my bill. I contacted a uhaul agent and was able to request to be credited for the extra days rental fee. I appreciate that effort made by Mr. Cheek for salvaging my belief in the customer care concerns of the Uhaul company. V/r Ms. Campbell
CYNTHIA CAMPBELLI paid for a dolly and did not receive one. I was never sent a link or directions on how to check in and the business was closed so there was no one to ask. I ended up having to call the help desk to figure out how to get my uhaul.
Amanda PerryIf trucks are reserved, make sure they are in working order. Ended up with a truck in the end but it was a Smaller one causing more trips for the move.

Gary BrownThe 26’ truck that I ordered and was guaranteed was not available. I had to downgrade to a 20’ truck. Then we were unable to get the lock box open for the 24/7 touchless option and had to wait for the business to open to get our truck. Lastly, to return the truck the Uhaul.com website was down and unresponsive. When we tried calling we were put on hold for 25 minutes and never received any assistance.
Trent CrandallI dropped the truck off there on Sunday evening and placed key in the lockbox. I called the next morning at 9:00 am and left voice mail asking that someone call to verify everything was ok and I have received no response. This is very unprofessional and unfortunate given my positive pickup experience. I won't recommend any company that ignores its customers.

JAMES LOWEThe only comment I have is that it is downtown Anderson in a not so great area. Returning after dark is a bit intimidating, due to the lack of lighting in and around the location. I would recommend this location to friends only if they are going there during the day.

Chelsea WatsonWe have rented UHaul many times being our Children are IU Students. we have gone online and been confirmed for a 20 footer and every time we are forced to take a 26 footer even though our reservation was confirmed for a 20 footer. The reasons we want the 20 footer is because all we need why we confirmed online..second it is very hard at IU to get around with that big of a truck and find a spot to unload…third not only does it consume more gas, the ride is horrible and we did not have AC in the truck. We as past Customers would ask that UHaul honors what truck they confirmed online. Do not assume that Customers are happy being forced to take the 26 foot truck when they confirmed a 20 foot truck. The cost was definitely higher due to gas consumption and the experience was miserable for us on this confirmation. UHaul should definitely get better at honoring your online reservations and not force customers to accept because they have only that move date at universities. I still have not received my final invoice and returned truck yesterday. Overall was bad experience.

Gary SchlaferWas very displeased initially with the U-haul scheduling. I had reserved a truck at the Muncie location and was awaiting a verification call for at least a week. U-haul finally called Sunday night before the pickup date at 5:05pm, missed that call and then was unable to reach anyone because 5:00pm was closing time. Had to drive to Anderson to get the truck the next morning. The guy at Anderson actually took care of me 30 minutes before their opening time. Very appreciative of that. He went above and beyond to fix what was a corporate problem.

Lowell GriffinUhaul is definitely cheaper then other places but I would suggest long term rentals or leasing that is affordable. If insurance was included the 1200 a month would be reasonable but I could buy and insure a new van without the hassle of extending every week for around $800 a month.
