We had some challenges with picking up because of bad cell reception in the area and an unknown issue with location identification for mobile pickup. I also had to switch cards to pay so much of the delay for pickup time was my fault. Very friendly and great service.

Michael GThe parking lot was very muddy at time of drop off, but that could have been to the previous days precipitation. I did an off hours drop off, so no one was there to interract - the on-line drop off procedure was fairly easy to work with. The location was easily accessible. Still overall a very good rental experience.
Peter GThe website and app didn't work for our 7am pickup time. We had to waste 3 hours of our reservation time because we couldn't get the truck til 10 when the location was opened. Our request for an extension of time since we had to wait to get our truck was rudely denied by the representative I spoke to on the phone. The same representative was rude when I called about the website not working. We requested a partially refund due to the time we were losing and the way it interfered with an already extremely stressful day of moving. I will avoid using uhaul ever again. The crap we went through for the amount of money we spent was appaling
Caelan CThe office was cold, had no heat, they did not use a computer with dedicated internet but rather used their cell phone which had spotty cellular service so it took a long time to get checked in. Not professional.
Christopher RWhen we dropped off the truck it had over a half a tank and even though we picked it up with an empty tank she would not give us credit for the gas and even charged us $80.00 extra which U-Haul refunded us after calling them.

David SPaid $2400 for this. The uhaul smelled like smoke when I picked it up. Waited an hour for the guy to come out when I went to pick up the uhual. The uhual had no windshield wiper fluid.

Micheal DI would give Jakes Farm U-Haul negative stars if I could. This is, by far, the WORST U-Haul dealer I have ever dealt with. And we rent from U-Haul alot. The lot was a muddy mess. The "office" was a freezing farm stand filled with junk, a broken motorcycle being repaired, ashtray overloaded with cigarette butts on the desk.... The worst part of was the couple running it. It took 40 minutes to get the keys for the truck. We had to wait for them to fire up their antique computer. They don't know how to work the U-Haul software, so that took forever. Upon checking in, we asked them to use a different credit card. They stated they couldn't. Which isn't true, they just didn't know how or bother to reach out for help. After calling U-Haul customer service, they informed me that it COULD be sorted out, but had to be done by Jakes Farm. We were already on the road and attempted to call them. No working number to reach them. One number listed was disconnected, the other rolled right into voicemail and of course the mailbox was full. Completely unprofessional. So consequently, it took days and dozens of phonecalls to get it sorted out. Which eventually, the regional mgr was able to do, which was great. However, this place is not indicative of U-Haul's standards and should not be allowed to serve as a U-Haul dealer. There are plenty of others in the area. Stay clear of Jakes Farm...
Chad HNobody was around for the drop off, phone went straight to voicemail. Had to search and go to private residences locate someone. Very unprofessional.
Micheal AI was charged $1856.90 for a one day rental, driven 15 Miles, gas tank full, returned in the same condition and on time. i did call ad complain, a claim was made.4620600, said they would refund. i am happy i did not have to fight for my refund, however, the day I noticed the amount with drawn from my account I was going to pay my house payment and my utilities. If i would not have checked my balance, I would have had insufficient funds, lots of bank charges, and possibility a ding on my 810 credit score! so I am not a happy customer. I hope it is credited to my bank soon as now i am late on my utilities and will have late fees, I need to some other bills, have an oil change, get some groceries, gas etc! As i am typing this I am really upset!! Many people do not have an extra $1,856.90, setting in their account. My next social security deposit is is not until 2/14/2024! .I am not going to be using Uhual again and I am going to tell people what happened and to me. I have all the documentation to show them
deAnne SI will never use uhaul again. "Jakes farm uhaul" is an absolutely freezing building with no one inside. There is a sign directing you to call them if no one is there, but there is no mobile service in the building. It took over an hour to pick up the uhaul.

Hunter RNo one was in the office. I had to call customer service who was able to contact an employee at Jake’s Farm. It took more time than it should for the “paperwork” before I could get the trailer hooked up. In the end I was there for over an hour. It was Uhawful!

Hailey MAll my info said pick up at 9. Waited until 915 and had to knock on the home of the person who then claimed she didn’t open until 10. Didn’t have all the equipment we reserved. Place was a total mess. Computers didn’t work, couldn’t print out any documentation. Told us we could return it at this same place because turns out that was more convenient for us but then the other drop off location called and said not possible to change it. We were ok with paying the fee to take back to different location. No way on uhaul site to check it back in at return as it kept saying my session had expired on any browser/ phone I tried using.

NOE CAside from some connectivity issues, everything went smoothly. The rep at the pick up location seemed to have some questions and frustration with the UHAUL policies on their end, so that could be improved, but everything else was great.
GRIFFIN PJakes fame was a disaster. The trucks were left in a muddy field and 2 inches standing water that I had to walk through to get to the truck. The property is a disaster and when returned, only place to park was in the mud! Truck had a broken fender. Not uhaul quality partner and will not use again.
Douglas RAgain the check in on the app didn’t work!! The employee couldn’t get it to work either!! Still don’t know if the trucks ever got checked in?!?!
thomas sThe stars I gave are for the actual worker that works for Jake farm. hes amazing and helped us so much! the rest of the 0 stars are for u-haul... I love how you guys advertise one price and then charge hundreds for other stuff. Totally won't be using you guys again.

Christina MNo service and this property doesn’t even have a technical office. This sits on a residential or privately owned property and the service was terrible. Wouldn’t rent or help me with anything other than telling me just do it all online.
Jack DI tried to drop off the truck but there was no one there (during their business hours) so I tried to call the two #s listed and left a message - still have yet to get a call back…. I went later that day to drop off the key and luckily there was Jake (not sure but someone to grab the key) and he told me “you just put it in the key drop off.” I told him that wasn’t clear and I was unsure because I didn’t pick up the truck from his location. He told me “ya that’s all you do.” He wasn’t helpful and wasn’t very nice about it. So highly don’t recommend this location. I will not be going back to rent uhaul, rather I will go to another farther out, with nicer customer service and general location to rent.
sydney sIt was a muddy mess to get around that area. Couldn’t get ahold of someone when we arrived to pick up the U-Haul. Trying to get my cash deposit and tell the lady that I dropped the U-Haul off even earlier than expected. No return of call my 18 year old daughter had to go search everywhere for someone. It was a circus I will never rent a U-Haul from this place again
Amanda NThe truck was not in the location in the picture. The truck was also parked in a field that was about 4 inches of thick sloppy mud that I had to walk through just to get to it. There is a vegetable/nic Nak shop right where the key pick up was. It was practically blocked off. The only point of entry was also a muddy mess.

kayla jThe person in place was busy feeding his pigs and did not check in the car and provide me a return receipt. I called U-Haul and their office several times for the receipt and did not get anything until nearly 3 weeks later where I found out that they are charging me for not having the gas tank full where I had overfilled the tank just at the time of the return of the truck. I have sent in pictures with full tank showing but I have never been reimbursed for the extra charges.

Micheal DThe woman who sat up my rental and took my calls, Angelina, was wonderful. She always answered, was helpful, and kind. But I cannot say the same about the location, Jake’s Farm, nor the man who works there, John. When I arrived with a friend and my 2 y/o to pick-up the rental, we parked behind another truck that he was attempting to reverse and move; however behind, but not in the way. I got the baby out of his car seat and walked purposely to the far right of the truck, while making eye contact with the driver, John, via the side mirror. John then continued to reverse and quite literally almost ran my baby and I over. I had to hit the back of the 20ft Uhaul, scream “STOP!”, and jump out of the way using the truck as leverage to push myself off the back of it. John did not acknowledge this at all. He had another man also moving trucks, who he yelled at more than once, and used very profane language while doing so. The entire experience was stressful and cringey- not to mention almost being ran over. I did immediately call Angelina who was extremely apologetic.

Jeremy HI waited an hour and a half to get my truck. I don’t think it was Jake’s farms fault but my truck had been given to someone else and the person who would’ve normally fixed it was on PTO or something so they had to wait on the phone with uhaul to get my reservation moved to the smaller truck. They were nice and apologetic despite the stress.
Whitney KWe tried contacting them before hand to confirm pickup but no one answered the phone. We arrived on time for our pickup but we had to wait about 10 minutes for anyone showed to help us out. Once someone showed up things went smoothly.
Paul cThe inside of the truck was dirty, there were empty 1/2 empty water bottles and sodas in the cab. The person working when I picked up the truck didn’t seem to know how to use a computer. It took me 45 minutes for him to give me the keys and I was literally the only customer in sight. This place SHOULD NOT have a contract with uhaul. What a waste of my time .
Bill NI was charged a fuel charge after it was taken off because I was given a truck with no fuel. I put just as much in as I was given. 50 miles to empty. Then was charged a fuel fee.
MORGAN LThe attendant asked me about the fuel, and I explained to him that I am leaving it exactly as I picked it up. They still found it necessary to charge me $151.00 for gas, even with a picture as proof. My contract also states that my drop off date is 6/30/22, I dropped it off a day early, and was billed a late charge of $54.00. U-Haul makes it impossible to reach anyone by phone, therefore it is all by email. Good luck finding someone who cares.
Jess RPart of the issue is that my pick up location was changed at the last minute. The place I was supposed to pick it up was open at 9, when I had scheduled my pick up. They told me to pick at Jakes. There was no one around and the sign on the door said to call a number at the house-which no one answered. Finally after knocking on the door a few times, over the course of half an hour, someone came out. She was perfectly friendly so props on that. I had my confirmation information with the drop-off listed (2 miles from my destination in Denver), but she couldn't find it listed on her database, so she overrode my drop-off location and put a to-be-determined drop-off. A text from U-haul later in the day gave me a drop-off location. Unfortunately, that location was on the other side of Denver, so after a frustrating pick-up, and the frustration of moving, we ended up spending an additional hour in the van to get it dropped off. While this location is terrible and not a very good "face" for U-haul, some of my issues go to the head office for changing both my pick up and drop off locations.
KAREN WThe cargo area of the truck had not been cleaned. The area around the building is not paved and was a mud pit. I had to explain to the woman who helped me how much 3 dozen is.
Patrick WOur family rented a uhual truck from Jakes Farm location in Loveland. We arrived more than a half an hour before office was planned to open. When arriving we were going to call the 800 uhual number since we knew it was before office hours. The employee knew we were there and immediately came out to greet at our car. She was very professional, kind, courteous, and knowledgeable about services. The property has a very unique shop where they sell artistic products. The property was also very clean and easy to see from the road. Moving is stressful and we couldn't be more happy with the service that was provided to us. Thank you!
Rebecca NTerrible. We reserved a truck for 10am. This place was supposed to be open at 10am. No one was there and the door was pad locked. Called the number for the location got voicemail. Others had shown up and stated they also had reservations. Had no idea we could check in online. When we finally got that through calling uhaul twice we got a code for lockboxes for the keys to the truck. Wrong key in the lockbox to the truck. Finally at 11 am someone came that worked there. She unlocked all the lockboxes and changed all the keys to all the trucks. All of the keys were in the wrong boxes. This place gives Uhaul a bad name. Total junkyard,no joking. Pitchfork In the middle of the road, good thing it was light out! This place is literally a junk yard. Will never rent from this place again. I felt bad for another couple they were supposed to have a reservation for 7 that morning. Again no one even showed up till 11. And just went into the farmhouse. Finally came out to see if we needed help. Uhaul you need to truly take this place off your list, you need to have a representative go look at this place. Terrible junkyard!
