The location was convenient, but the mobile pick up and drop off was a horrible experience. This is a reflection on uhaul not jammin gears, but I would never recommend mobile pick up. There was horrible cell service in the area so it took longer than it should have. I should have been asked for license pictures and an additional contact when I booked. All verifications should have been done prior to pick up.Richard H.
The app is horrible. The app is glitchy and asks many questions that could have been asked when I scheduled the rental. This wasted a lot of time when I went to pickup the rental equipment. I will not use or recommend the uhaul app to anyone.Anthony M.
Make the web site user friendly, call center keeps kicking me out. It's always a hassle to rent a truck, I rent all the time to do charity pick ups. So stressfulSHAWN O.
The checkout process wasn't easy. While at the location and using the app to pick up the vehicle I was asked for an alternate contact person. I provided a name (Linda) and phone number. I was told that the number I provided was my contact information. I responded by saying that it was my home number. Apparently they tried to call Linda and she didn't answer so they asked for someone else. I gave them Lindaâ€˜s cell phone number. Again she didn't answer when they called her cell phone number. I was not told ahead of time that I would need to provide contact information for someone else. I was then told that I could provide them with a work number which I wasn't going to do because I called in sick to make this move. I was told that I could provide an unexpired passport or home rental agreement neither of which I carry with me on a daily basis, especially to pick up a rental truck. Ultimately, the man standing behind me in line, who was a complete stranger to me, gave me his name and number and told me to have U-Haul call him. They did and I was allowed to rent a truck. completely unnecessary to put me through those steps and completely pointless considering you spoke with someone I've never met in my life and will never come in contact with again. He didn't know me from a hole in the wall.Peter B.

The app for Iphone continues to time-out midstream (error message: "no network connection" while I'm using cellular data!) and causes the user to have to return to the home page to start the pick up or drop off process from the beginning. Uhaul should also provide a User Quick Guide to the van's dashboard. No one want to read through a manual to know how to adjust the exterior side mirrors, etc.Maria T.

The location I used on Post Rd in Warwick is light years ahead of your location on the corner of West Shore Rd &Oakland Beach Ave. The workers are so much more professional and courtesy.I am going to be renting vans about twice a month and thats who I'm going to usePaul V.

I rented from Jammin Gears and they were very helpful. My issue was I rented there because of the close proximately of my house and u-haul without consulting with me changed my truck pick-up location. Then I went to that location and they didn't have the 26 footer I rented. So I went back to Jammin Gears and rented their 15 footer. It was advertised for $29.95 but I was was charged $59.95. No one could answer why the $30 a day increase. Because of the truck mix up, I lost about an hour and a 1/2 of moving time with people waiting so I didn't have time to haggle over the rate increase as advertised. So while Jammin Gears was great my total experience with u-haul was disappointing to say the least.Paul V.
