This location has a gentleman working there who is absolutely insane. I returned truck with gas at same level I received and he said It was not and charged me for 2 gallons of gas after I just put 45 dollars in it. It was at 7/8 and he insisted it wasn't. Even after another person looked at it and said it was. I took a picture of the take and will submit to u haul.

The trailer we rented leaked when it rained making us have to dry things out, we also needed to cut our vacation short because of rain and not wanting our items to get wet again. Not happy at all, it was not the locations fault but U-Haul should inspect all there items for such things

Maybe put some oil, WD 40, whatever on the roll up door of the trailer. Tough to raise up and down and squeaks a fair amount.

The truck had a dented floor plate 2 feet from the ramp and made the dolly useless not to mention tripping often, when I complained when returning the rep said they complained to unsullied several times without results so I still paid full price BS....

I reserved a 26 foot truck over a week ago and when I arrived this morning all they could offer me was a 15 foot truck and no break in rental price for the screw up. Will go with Penske as I’ve never had this happen with them

The owner that did the reservation was very pleasant and easy to deal with. The guy that processed the rental once we actually got there was unprofessional and a bit rude.

Our only complaint is that the U-Haul customer service representatives who helped me book the truck advised that the truck would come with straps to secure our furniture and it did not. Luckily we were fine with the single piece we needed to move. Otherwise good experience.

I was not aware that my pickup location was changed from Millerton, NY until I showed up to rent the vehicle in Millerton. When making the reservation online, I was able to select a vehicle the Millerton location did not have & there were no giant letters warning me the location had been changed prior to checkout. The location of my rental was an hour away from Millerton & not even the closest location to my zip that had the van!!! I also received instructionsto use a smartphone when returning the van& I do not own a smartphone. I was unable to indicate that neither communication method was ideal for me(although appreciated getting an automated text with the actual pickup location address). Why is UHaul's online reservation process so fucked up?? It would be ideal if UHaul did not assume a customer has access to either email, cell reception, nor app services when making a reservation online & tailor the process around that.

The drop off was ok. no one was available at the drop off, so I placed the keys in the box. The next day I was alerted that there would be a charge for an extra day. I called the local u-haul and also the corporate u-haul. The extra day is to be refunded, but what really made a difference is that the note from the local u-haul stated how they would fix the problem for future users. They said that sineage would be in place for after hours drop offs. Thanks

Very friendly and helpful people. The UHaul mobile app does not work very well. I had to insert information over and over to get it to create the reservation for off-hour pick up. Need to fix that.

I returned 100% of everything that I picked up including everything that was contained in a packet of moving blankets. Upon return, I was charged $7 for a missing blanket — when I pleaded with customer service that i did not take a blanket, she basically dismissed my concern and hung up the phone on me. First, I did not take that blanket; second, I was very nice on the phone and explained that I didn’t think it was fair to charge someone for something they didn’t take; third, after spending over $350 to drive a small truck 130 miles, one would imagine that U-Haul could find an ounce of “customer is always right”-ness to do the right thing and reimburse me the $7 and not tarnish what was otherwise a perfectly fine and easy experience.

It is getting impossible to line a rental up even if you do it days ahead. I use one every Thursday and have a rental place 4 miles from me but can't get one available there.

This location has minimal hours. Trucks are not available as owner is not reliable source. I don't want to use the word dishonest. I did get confirmations from Uhaul representatives that the owner Marty had provided information about a truck that was supposed to be my larger truck that was never on his lot. We ended up having to go to a location further away and extending time with the original rental and having two trucks additional mileage taxes time and wear and tear on us during a hardship move as it was. Thank you for asking.
