One of the men at the tow yard was not very helpful or pleasant when trying to get the “pay-code” for the movers. They also could have mentioned that they would close before 4:30pm, since that was my return time.

When I arrived at the location, my reservation had somehow been cancelled without providing any notice to me or this pickup location. Dan was extremely helpful in finding me another truck as quickly as possible, even driving to another location to pick up a truck for me to use and driving it back to his location. He and his team were friendly, kind, and did their absolute best to get me taken care of as quickly as they could.

Truck was extremely old. Windshield wipers were terrible, head liner coming out of truck and hanging down, lot of play in steering while driving. Truck was just clearly USED a lot. The gentleman that rented the truck was very kind and inviting.

The area was shoddy and the proprietor was not friendly. If it had been night time I would not have stopped at this location. We definitely do not like the new reservation system! Both the pickup location and drop location we were assigned were completely out of the way and made our move way more complicated!!!

The ceiling was leaking and covered in thick black mold. I had a contract for a 10 foot long u-haul truck and I was stuck with a 15 foot u-haul truck after I was dropped off and had no alternative. He said take it or leave it and I would have to call u-haul in the moment and discuss it with them and go somewhere else. I was stranded and I had to get what was given to me. I didn’t utilize but about half of the truck’s length and it cost me about twice the amount in gasoline driving the truck to Boone NC. Same price he said but it wasn’t about price it was not what I was promised or contracted. I have a picture of the ceiling if anyone responds to my review.

Tried a return center a mile north on Pace in Pensacola. The woman at that facility told me that I was not able to return my trailer there or they would charge me the full cost of the rental again. They were incredibly unhelpful though that facility was larger and cleaner than the one at which I finally dropped off the trailer. The people down at the one I was originally scheduled to drop it at were incredibly helpful and friendly.I had been told I could drop it at any facility when I picked up my trailer.

The staff was friendly and I really appreciate that. My only problem was that I had to deal with a safety hazard the entire time I drove the truck. The sun visor was hanging halfway down the window and blocked the view. Even when I moved the visor it didn’t do much. It was my first time driving a uhaul truck and the broken visor made it so much more nerve racking.

The owner tried to pressure me into getting insurance. He threatened that I would have to pay the exact day if anything were to happen to the truck. He was unprofessional, rude and a racist. I kept explaining to the owner I aware of how the process work but he insisted and became more rude and unprofessional. This shows how black people are still disrespected and non welcomed. I have a video of this incident as well and will be uploading and posted to google review and BBB.

The truck ran really rough I was actually scared to drive it. Got it back on time made sure it had to gas in it and cleaned it. But I feel that that truck pacifically needed maintenance. It was a rough ride in the truck that I’ve ever drove from U-hall.

I picked up this Cargo van on Friday March 1st droped off Sunday March 3rd, More clean than it was when I picked it up! also there was 3/8 of a tank gas, I put 5.10 in wich brought it up to 3/8 of a tank of gas. They charged me a EZ Fule sales 1.5gal of gas @ 5.83 This pissed me off knowing I left that Van in better condition than I picked it up with ample gas! Called the owner, Monday morning to tell him of my dispute and he cut me off in mid sentence but telling me he was towing a truck and could not deal with it at this time! Hey did you ever think to tell me to call the office and the would take care of it! NO just cut me off. I rent from uhaul all the time for my Wedding bussines and for some reason the website sent me to this J&J tire service, dont know why but you best belive, I will make sure they never get my business again

The drop off location was inside a large, fenced and locked area but with an "OPEN" sign on. When I called to ask where to drop off the trailer, the guy said to leave it outside the facility and not to block one of his locked gates. He offered no help whatsoever. So, I unhooked it, took a picture of the trailer just in case, and departed.

We rented a dolly but there wasn’t one in the truck when we picked it up. An apparently non of the other locations has them either. An they still tried to charge us for it.

I’ve been billed twice for insurance that I didn’t want and was told that I had already paid for. An additional $86 was billed to me at the time of pickup after I’d been told that I had already paid for it when booking online. I don’t understand why I even had to be billed anything at the time of pickup when the rental had been paid for a month before when making the reservation.

So, I originally reserved a 10 ft trailer for 1030 a.m.(on the app) at a location off of Jackson. When I got my confirmation it was for a different location at 3pm. I changed the location to one that was available at 1100 a.m. off of Fairfield drive OEM. I arrived, they didnt have my reservation nor a truck for me to get. They said my reservation was @JJs towing. So I called and headed there. Upon arriving they didnt have my reservation EITHER it was for a different location on PACE BLVD. But the men at JJs towing had a truck and let me take it. A quick pick up turned into a 45 minute ordeal at which it wasnt the location nor the time I selected.

Truck was not available at the time requested. Had to wait on previous renter to arrive(lost & late). Then they had to drive to another uHaul location to get that location to release truck to J&J. Charged two days of insurance only needed a day. The office was deplorable. Ceiling leaking buckets of water. Floors wet. Accident waiting to happen — slip and fall and MOLD! Won’t go back there & uHaul should leave this place for many reasons but lawsuit number one!

Inflated the quote with incorrect beginning millage reading and then added packing blankets we didn't order. Made two separate debit transactions yet could not explain what the second one was for at $16.00. Cost us $75.00 to rent a 10' truck for 6 hours and 30 miles. Obviously a dishonest dealer, yank his franchise!

I could write volumes on the misplays of the UHaul staff. I spent hours on emails and phone calls to set up a truck rental. Your people gave me misinformation, promised to provide services that did come to fruition, and acted as though they wanted to get me off the phone. My fee as a consultant is $100. per hour. I spent three hours on this issue. Consider this email an invoice for my services totaling $300. The manager was disorganized and not friendly. Returning the truck became a HUGE debacle when I received a text telling me to return the truck to a different location. In fact, the entire experience with UHaul in general was a debacle, almost from the start. I reserved my truck at a location and requested to change it, then the location was changed 3 more times, including once literally at the last minute. I will not use UHaul again. The only shining moment was when I returned the truck (to a different location) the manager there was very helpful and she worked hard to get me the refund for the additional fees that I was not supposed to be charged initially.

This is a low-end towing/tire company, nothing professional about it. Be sure to add 40 minutes to your wait time even if you are the only one in the office. I was re-directed here from my original chosen pickup location which will be addressed with Uhaul.

1101 North Pace was not where I had a confirmed reservation. I wasn't told of the change until I got to the original location, then was given bad directions to a different place. The second place had to give me directions to the third place, North Pace.
