Todd PI was required to put a $100 deposit, which I’ve never had to do before. The truck was a complete junker and the guy I rented it from admitted that but didn’t offer to replace it. It’s was hard. To drive because it sounded like it was falling apart and I could barely keep it on the road because it was so bad. The passenger window wouldn’t roll down because the handle was broken off. The fabric on the inside roof was falling down so bad I had to move it to be able to see. The inside windows were so disgusting I had to clean them because I couldn’t see at all to drive. It was the worst experience I’ve ever had with uhaul. Then when I returned it, after paying $100 additional cash deposit- they tell me it will be mailed to me in about 7-10 business days?!!! That’s bad business!!! Next time I will use another company. I have used uhaul at least 10 times in the last 15 years. I move a lot due to my job….this was the absolute worst experience ever. I will definitely use a different company when I have to move again. NOT TO MENTION: I ordered a 20 ft truck-which he had 3 of and he gave me a the crappie 30 foot truck that shouldn’t be legal to be on the road! I will make sure this is shared on google and all social media pages. I am a single mother of 4 kids and I have to move by myself…this made my experience sooooo much harder than it should have been. I can’t believe y’all allow vehicles like this on the road. I was worried it wouldn’t make it to my destination ! You should be ashamed!
Jeanie MEverything was great. Easy pickup and dropoff, even after hours. Easy to follow instructions on the phone. I found everything to be exactly as stated as far as location, directions, the truck, the key.

I picked up 1:30am so of course there wasn’t any line personnel at the location for me to do deal with so I done the Mobil pick up. I provided all info needed in order to do so. I gave a pic of myself, the front and back of DL, my lease agreement for my house and an alternative contact and the First Lady that I spoke with (Michelle) still denied my pick up. She was really BAD with customer service. What should have taken me a total of 10 min to complete took me over an hour because of her and I did everything I was supposed to do correctly and everything she asked of me! Ridiculous!!! However, the second lady I spoke with (Lisa) made it very easy and once I was in contact with her the whole process took 10 minuets and I was in my truck and out of there.

timothy rPersonally believe rates are overcharged especially for an extremely local move as this was. Was under the mileage paid for, picked up truck with 1/4 tank and returned over half tank with zero thought of reimbursement or credit. Also, truck was poorly maintained as brakes barely worked and nearly caused a collision.
