I don’t know how old the truck was but it needed a muffler, it needed a new front seat, and new suspension . I did not feel safe in this truck at all. cigarettes in the ashtray and trash on the floor. it was my worst experience with the U-Haul truck ever. The truck was painted entirely white, No where on the truck did it say UHaul. You should have paid me to drive the truck . Edward Kuba 602-625-1389

wipers didn't work upon picking up truck. I was told to take it anyway and they will send repairman. repair man never came. delayed my move and my ability to return the truck due to rain. then uhaul charged me for the extra day. ridiculous. this needs to be resolved.

The main problem is this is NOT the location we rented the truck. We went in three days ahead of the rental to the location on Route 12 in Prospect Heights. The personnel there needs to be fired. Horrible customer service. We get there to pick up the truck which we were told by THIS SAME PERSON that he has 4 new trucks and one will definitely be there. We get there and he tells us (while indoors wearing sunglasses and making no eye contact and gave a "I don;t care attitude") "you need to go to Elk Grove....... almost a half hour away only to drive back another 1/2 hour. Wasting over an hour of our time. to make matters worse when I returned the truck I was billed for going over mileage. I went over because I has to go to a different location. U-Haul screwed up and I paid. I've rented from U-Haul a number of times. The past 4 experiences have been bad. I will look for other alternatives as the business model of sending customers to other location and then bill them is ridiculous. The truck was great...... overall experience was 1 on a 10 scale. TERRIBLE customer service.

Have a sign on front of building advertising that its a uhaul location not just a printing company. Passed it up but happened to see uhaul trucks parked in rear thru the side driveway.

Send the gentleman to train other employees on excellent customer service. The gentleman that assisted me with my truck rental not only connected to trailer, but waited for us to load the truck. He went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable traveling to Tennessee. He went above and beyond without complaint or attitude. He deserves a raise.

I scheduled a 26 foot truck, had a confirmation number for the truck and pick up point. The day before I was informed that the truck was not available only a 20 foot truck was. The pick up point changed(further away) and price was much higher than agreed upon.

I first attempted to rent this auto transport at your U-haul store at 1560 Mt. Prospect Rd. Des Plaines IL. I had a reservation for July 9th at 4 pm. When I made this reservation I was told my tow vehicle, hitch and the vehicle being towed were good to go. I arrived and was told that they could not process my reservation because the vehicle being towed would not fit the trailer. The computer would not let them do it. This was a different person than when I reserved it in person. I told them I towed this same vehicle on one of your trailers before. Long story short I called the 800# and talked to Amanda to no avail. I came home and went on line and went through all the prompts to rent the transporter and at no time did it tell me that the truck, hitch or vehicle was not compatible. I paid the rental fee and printed everything, I even did express check in. I went back to the Mt. Prospect facility relieved that I was going to get the transporter and they proceeded to tell me that the vehicle was still not going to fit the trailer. They told me they only had tow dollies and one type of transporter. I was very upset so i went home and called the 800# again and after being told there was nothing can be done I asked to talk to a manager, I was put in touch with a regional manager, Nina, she reviewed everything and said that my online reservation was good and that there was indeed different size transporters and I needed a 7.5K transporter which all they had to do was tell me that they didn't have one, she checked their inventory, and find me a near by place that had one, I wonder if the Mt. Prospect Facility even know what their inventory is which Nina did, but by that time all the places were closed. I was supposed to leave for Indianapolis at 6am on the 10th of July. I picked up the transporter at 9am on the 10th from J C Printing, by the time I left it was almost noon here 1pm their time. I did not get back home until 9:30 pm that night. It appears to me that the employees at the Mt. Prospect Facility can't find their backsides with both hands. Juan at J C Printing where I picked up the transporter was friendly as well as professional.

This location suppose to be open at 9:00am and nobody showed up until 9:30, afte we called and left a message. Person didn't care much for customer and vehicle was all dusty and dirty inside.

Juan couldn't maneuver the computer system well. (It is not a friendly system.) He swiped my credit card 4 times, but told us we were previously paid (which we were). After a long time, I asked him to let us go and figure out the system on his own time. I called him back to say the fuel level was at 5/8 tank. He asked if he could come to our location to have me sign a contract. He did! I signed his paperwork, but found out later that he listed the wrong truck with a different odometer reading. Juan was an accommodating guy, but didn't do anything right.
