Jonathan SIt was bizarre renting from a field. The truck was in rough shape and clearly had been driven hard and almost to death.
Gary HJim’s Auto was very helpful, we loved doing business with them and will definitely use that location for anymore needs we have.
Jessie BDropped off U-Haul and waited at end of drive for son to pick me up. My son arrived and I got in his vehicle at end of drive. Was at end of drive trying to figure out gps to next location and some guy in a white pickup came flying up yelling in a threatening manner why the hell we were in his driveway. He realized why and backed up. Note to this guy, my hand was on my pistol. Might be careful how he threatens people. Side note: speedometer quit working and check engine light came on. No way in hell I’ll use U-Haul again.
paul mGreat people
allen sDogs were very friendly.
Priscilla GCharged for 8 gallons of gas and there was no way it needed that much, maybe a gallon. $44 plus a $30 fee, will never use you again,

Richard RThe drop off location seemed scary. I wouldn't have known where to go if I hadn't seen another uhaul truck. But he came out and showed me where to go and helped a lot and seemed friendly
Brittany MJim’s Auto people were great. And Sha’ron in the field office was amazing when I had a problem finding a local rental. Chad…a district person to Pell City had to coach me through check in. That’s all I’ll say. Thank you.
GEORGE DLocation was very isolated. There was a banner sign but it was not facing the traffic. There was no Uhaul equipment at site. There was a old garage further down the unpaved drive surrounded by numerous cars. It looked almost like a junk yard. Three of us missed this place and had to drive another 4 miles to circle back. I drove the truck down to the garage, since that's the only place I saw any human activity. I was meet by a young man who told me that I needed to back the truck up the drive I just drove down and they would call"Mama" to come out of the old mobile home to show me where to park it. She told me where to leave it and didn't look at the truck while we were there. I had filled up with a little over 15 gallons prior to arriving, and the fuel Guage showed exactly the same level as when I picked it up. This place is not what I would choose to carry the name of my business.
PETER LHe Was not there at appointed time for me to pickup truck. If it easy for nice uhaul phone rep to walk me thru online checkout I don’t know how long it would take to get it. Still took one hour and I had truck loaders waiting me.
SHAUN HThe only way to know this drop off site was the plastics sign that said trucks and trailers. I did not see a Jim’s sign anywhere. Plus dogs everywhere. It was very scary to me.
Jeffrey WI requested a 17’ truck with furniture dolly and moving blankets. I was overwhelmed when I was given a 26.5’ truck and no equipment. Definitely caused my move to be more difficult
Barbara TI had my reservation at Trinity Automotive, upon arrival the car salesman had no idea how to rent a truck. What a terrible run business On top of that the truck was not reserved on his end. After 2-1/2 hours on hold U-haul made me another reservation 8 miles away. At least the lady at Jim’s auto was on her game. She had me on the road in 10 min. It’s so sad you have to wait 2-1/2 hours on hold, transferred twice to talk to customer service.
John KLocation that trucks and trailers were parked was very muddy. Need that area to be graveled at the least.
floyd bOff the beaten path; personnel not available; charged extra without any notification
Carl WNot what U-Haul wants representing your brand.
Shannon SDon’t allow this location to be U-Haul dealer. They are unprofessional & weren’t there when we arrived to pick up our U-Haul at our scheduled time.
Samuel KWe showed up at 8AM had to wait for the owner to get out of her pajamas. The office was the kitchen table in the trailer of the owner. I stood there while their dog jumped all over me. The location was nothing but made. Very unprofessional.
Derek MAppreciate Jim’s Auto. They were kind, courteous, and very helpful.
Darrel PIt was way off beaten path. Office was at dining room table in a trailer home that I was so uncomfortable with the lady her 3 sons sleeping around on furniture. House was nasty! She had to continue to call her boss to find out how to do things. I had pre registered & I was there for over an hour. If I could have located a customer service number I would have already called. I’ve rented U-Haul in past. But if this is what your company is going to. I will not again. Angela 256-375-8404
Angela RI had an issue & the agent got on the phone & resolved it.
Sara JDrop off in the middle of nowhere, very muddy, had to knock on a strangers door to find out where to go, no clear markings on where to go. No orange box for drop off, smell of septic tank. The people though (once we found them were very nice and helpful)
Wendy CMaking a reservation online was an absolute waste of time. I had my reservations confirmed via an email from Uhaul. When I arrived at the original pickup location, there was no truck and they never even got my reservation. So there I sat with my helper, and wasted an hour while a truck was located for me, some 20 miles away. One person on the phone told me I would get the $50 reservation guarantee, but the next person I spoke to said I wouldn’t. So, I spent an extra 40 miles at $.79 per mile and an extra $16 in fuel and I just got stuck with that extra cost. I will never use Uhaul again and I would not recommend their services to anyone. It was a horrible experience.
