It was my very first time booking, picking up and returning a U-Haul online, and I was very relieved at how the transactions went (so much better than I was dreading). Due to my lack of experience with the process, I know it took longer this time than it will now that I know what to expect. The truck itself was a pleasure to drive, which was a bonus!

DIANA CACHONThere was no one on site, and the person "helping" me with my reservation said he was in a "bad reception area". It took me 45 mins to pick up the truck. He tried to tell me the truck I reserved is unavailable and trade to a bigger size, even though I called to confirm everything the day before. When I said it's impossible for me to switch because I'm taking a ferry (which I had also mentioned by phone the previous day), I was given a truck of the right size, but in HORRIBLE condition! The back door is so rusty that I couldn't open it without help. I reserved a furniture dolly and wasn't given one. The cab wasn't clean inside. And when I went to use the passenger door, I noticed the lock was half falling out. Everything about my experience with this reservation made my move so much more difficult. If I'm ever sent to that location again, I'll cancel my reservation. It was absolutely horrible!

The card got declined because their system was down but the owner mocked that I didn’t have money in my 3 cards that I tried there . Asked for debit transaction and I was told that their debit machine isn’t working. I will never go back there and will never recommend that location to anybody.

The owner talks non sense about the customers in front of other customers. When I called him to refund the after hour charge which they charged me for nothing- the guy is like I will get you the refund but it’s been almost a month. Multiple called and texts and he won’t refund the amount. I want U haul to step in and look into the matter.

Ivan RojasTruck cab was filthy and the back had bits of styrofoam and dirt. The guy at the desk did not do the walk around for damage or go over the vehicle. Every other U-Haul I have rented was immaculate. Pride in what your provide shows in the state of the vehicles The truck itself did run very well and clean and was good on fuel. The service from UHaul itself was fabulous and fast! Helpful and friendly
Sarah FraserFirst off it wasn't the equipment I had reserved - second, he told me I had to have it back by 1pm when I had reserved for 24 hours (4:30-4:30) and proceeded to tell me he wouldn't give me the truck if I didn't bring it back by 1. I understand this maybe was not a him problem and it's really a uhaul online reservation system error, but this needs to be corrected. To tell me he wasn't going to give me the keys and the truck was unacceptable when I had a reservation by uhaul - then that truck was not maintained at all, the back door/gate wouldn't close and I had to move things in sections because it would have fallen out of the back. uhaul roadside assistance was helpful when I finally got the right now directed to me - it really slowed me down and my move but they at least allowed me to keep the uhaul later.

john klaboeThe employee of Jogger (our pick up location) was late by 20 minutes. Our pick-up time was 9 a.m. and we arrived on time. Unfortunately, the employee of Jogger didn't show up until 9:20. He was very disorganized and picking up the truck we had reserved took much longer than it needed too, even though we filled out the online check in. We didn't leave the pick up location until 40 minutes after our pick up time. For next time, please arrive on time. Moving day is stressful enough. That is certainly the last time I reserve a uhaul truck at the Jogger Logistics location.

COLLEEN HAMILTONAlmost have to fight go get the truck for the period I reserved it for, the person at the counter wanted me to give my word (!?) to bring the truck the next day at 2pm when i booked 48h! The location is supposed to open at 8.30, they called saying they will be there at 9am and actually arrive at 9.15. Oh and also, the Truck didn’t get any battery on the next morning, had to jump start it 🥲
Luc DuvalThey initially changed my original reservation making me drive a long distance for pickin the truck. I rented the dollys a month before my moving and the day of pick up I was told that they werent available and other people were using them. As an expectant mother I was relying on using them for the heavy stuff so unfortunately they only made me struggle since I didn't have time to rent them at some other place. Also the truck was in bad condition. The oil signal was on and I was worried something would happen on the way. When dropping it off there was nobody to receive the keys and of course no clear instructions on what to do. Definitely a terrible experience.

Cody SchofieldMy trailer 6x12 did not have surge brakes they were rewired and some of the tires needed to be replaced, not a safe trailer at all but I had no choice as I was moving! Never again will I get a rental without having to worry about my safety and others!!! Not impressed.

We booked a small 10" truck but he said that he doesn't have a small on he gave us 20" big truck and charged us way too much and he did not give us right instruction how to return it. But we dropped a truck same day but out of business hour but he did not give us right instruction how to return it when out of business hour. Seonjin ParkThe site staff Rohit Damana was very good. He called me to arrange the pick up as he needed to leave the office and he answered my phone for questions very patiently. We returned the vehicle within 24 hours but got charged for 2 days. I submitted my claim and Uhaul customer service responded and reissued the correct invoice in two days. It was a little bit inconvenient but I still want to thank Uhaul for resolving the issue quickly.
Fengshuo SunMy reservation was for 9am and when I arrived and the doors were locked, I called and was told that they had called to say it wouldn’t be ready until 10am but I received no call. So I had to go back home and return again for 10am - I was perturbed. When we returned the van, the door was office was unlocked but no one was around to receive the key so I left it on the desk. The app for self check in was annoying and glitchy.

After waiting for an hour no body showed up. Then I call him again. Which he responded he lives in delta. So therefore he wasn't coming. He was very rude. Then e threaten to cancel my reservation. After much back and forth. He finally said. Ok you can just do everything by yourself it's done online. I had to hook up my trailer myself. After I was done with the rental equipment I was charged $150 more. Eventhough I there hooked up the trailer my self. I have ben since contacted uhaul directly to open a complaint again this location. I have always had a great and pleasant experience with other uhaul location..
Brad Nosakhare1/3 of my order was available at the time of pick up. I was missing the utilities equipment (dollies) and mattress covers. When I asked why that was not part of my order total, the guy said it was because they didn't receive their order and I would have to drive to another location to pick up the items. He did not call ahead of time to share this information causing me a significant delay in starting my move with hired helpers. He also made it sound like the items were ready for pick up at the second location. This was NOT the case I was only able to rent half of what was needed for an efficient move, again, costing me more money with hire people to help me move. Incredible disappointed and I will NEVER rent or pick up from this location again. Secondly, I was told to complete the return process through the app because he was not going to be there to receive the truck. When I logged into my app under my reservation number, the app did not have my reservation listed. He said I could reach out to him if there were issues with YOUR UHAUL system and when I did, he completed the return process for me. The part that is disgusting ... I was charged your $20 assistance fee for this process because YOUR system was not update to date with the customer information. I have shared my disappointing and unprofessional experience with others and they are just as disgusted. NEVER AGAIN.

Someone finally showed up at 9am and didn't seem to care much that I had just waited 2 hours. They gave me drop off instructions that did not follow the apps procedure, and after speaking to uhaul directly, someone from the store still had to call me to see where the keys were. Very frustrating experience overall.

Bryan LUMACANGAgent was nearly 1 hour late (10 instead of 9am). He did text to inform me he would be 30 minutes late with enough notice for me to wait at home instead of at the location. However, I still spent 30 minutes sitting in my car waiting and not using my moving window. The contract for 8 hours did not take the late start into account, still requiring drop-off at 5pm. Without spending any more of my time, the contract should have automatically been adjusted to 10-6pm. When I tried to use the website to return the vehicle, it had an error and the next day, the agent charged me $20 to do the return paperwork! Return paperwork is your job, and should be free to me. I don't want to waste my time fighting over $20 so I'll just give you a bad review instead.

Kevin HayesWorst experience I've had with any provider. When a customer makes a reservation, honour that reservation. Don't change the pick up location and the pick up time a few hours before. And when you do give a pick up time, make sure someone is there at the locations. I had to wait 20 mins to for the operator of Jogger Logistics to show up.

Swez PandeyWe had to wait 15 minutes until someone could let us in. Our check in time was at 9:30 and nobody showed up until 9:45. 15 minutes isn’t a huge problem, but it is when you are on a tight time schedule. A simple apology at least would be nice, but didn’t get one. To make matters worse, We paid for a dolly and then we’re told that they do not have a dolly at that location and I had to drive 10 minutes out of my way each way to go pick one up from another store. Customer service could have been a lot better.
Kristina SkladowskiTruck unlocked with no person or info to get key. Eventually found it under a bag of de-icer. Truck battery died just before we drove to return truck. We were able to jump start it from a passerby but didn’t dare fill up with fuel as only travelled about 7km in total and not enough time (2km) to charge battery properly. So then had to pay premium for fuel. All very stressful. Customer service was good (although the photo we sent of where we left the key - back under the bag of de-icer wouldn’t go through) but the experience picking up the truck, breaking down, and returning the truck was awful. We have another UHaul booked for this Friday, from a different location, so really hoping this will go better.

The truck was late and you over charged me!!!!!!!!!!! I'm not sure what my next step is as YOU WILL be giving me over charge back!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Calling an ombudsman to report you and see what I need to do next. I just got my internet back late this afternoon, so I couldn't fill out this survey or call an ombudsman. Some girl called me to tell me about the truck issue and said you would be crediting me $50 for the problem, where is that money??????????

SUNBIR BOPARAII booked this truck and a car hauler trailer to be picked up in Mission BC on Jan 27th am. I was called 2 days ahead and told I can pick it up in Langley. One hour drive from Mission. This dealer told me I would be given extra time since I had to pick it up a day early. He did not do this. He had a trailer sitting in his yard which he refused to rent me, claiming that this trailer with Uhaul markings all over it belonged to him and he would not let it go on a one way rental. So I had to drive to Chilliwack BC to pick up the trailer. In all it took me 6 extra hours to pick up the rental vehicles. The truck had well worn summer tread tires on it (I have a picture) which are NOT safe for Canadian winter driving. We came close to several accidents due to poor traction on slippery roads. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH UHAUL. They are inept and unwilling to listen to or correct problems caused by their own network.
Randy GowanThe quote from Uhaul is misleading and dishonest. If you are wondering how they can offer the $19.95 deals, this is how. I was quoted around $53 for the 4-hour booking and ended up paying $112. Why? Because I received the Van at under a 1/4 tank gas and returned it without filling up at 1/8 tank. So for using the truck for 16 km total, I was billed for 11 L of gas at over $2 per litre and then an additional fueling fee of $30. Ridiculous gouging. After waiting in line and completing the paperwork to receive my truck at 9:30 am, I was questioned for returning it at 1:30 pm. Excuse me? That's the agreed upon 4 hours. Not my problem if you delay pick up. I guess your details are selective. Never again. Buyer beware.

When he arrived, he didn’t apologize or say anything to anyone. - the van is extremely dirty inside. The window was difficult to see through it was so dirty. Doesn’t look like the inside cab has been cleaned in a year.

Junius PereiraI had ordered a 26’ truck and it was confirmed. All they had was 20’ which cost extra gas and trips as I was unable to load everything. I had also ordered a dolly and 10 blankets which they said they didn’t have. Not happy.
