My original reservation was made at a location which did not have the equipment I needed. I was forced to travel to another county where the sales tax was higher costing me more money than I had planned for. My schedule did not allow time to shop around.THOMAS F.
Fix headlights. They illuminate like parking lights. Fill washer fluid. There was no washer fluid. Replace windshield wipers. Wipers were old and did not perform well in the rain.Kevin M.

The trailer was filthy, filled with red ants inside, mold in and out of the trailer as well as mud, dirt and sand inside. We had to clean it and spray it before we could use it. That took about 45 mins. We should not have to clean it like that before we got itLisa B.

Dropped truck off night before. Came at 9 am to get my $100 deposit. Gate is locked. By 9:20 I called phone number, lady who answered said she was taking her kids to school, and wouldn't arrive for another 30 minutes. Told her I just needed my cash deposit, she told me they aren't a cash business and would have to send my money in a check in 7-10 business days !!! Are you kidding??? NOT HAPPYDominick C.
Truck was clean but the gas tank was empty so I had to fuel the truck up before I even got it home to load it up. Now I do want to give Stephanie props. She was amazing to deal with. If everyone ran the business like her this would be an even better company. So glad I got to deal with her. Make sure someone at uhaul let's her know this.Shane T.

Attentiveness of the staff was excellent! Went above and beyond covering for other locations lack of detail. Very friendly and all questions were answered. The equipment had easily seen better days, however serviceable, but barely.JAMES C.

The maintenance for safety purposes could be better. The truck had a dry rotted tire which was cracked. The engine oil and power steering fluid was way too low. My son in law Johnny Bigger called for service to come to the house to make these needed services. The truck performed well from Florida to Colorado. So I'm happy. But the previous items were a potential break down or damage the truck waiting to happeneric S.

My drop off time was 9am and I was on time. The location was "open" as their gate was unlocked but noone was there. The driveway was deplorable. Noone was there to meet with me and I had to catch a two truck driver that just happened to be coming into the "yard". I called the number and the lady was very nice but told me to "just drop it off and leave the keys." This was NOT safe plus noone did a walk thru with me with this moving truck no discussed mileage. I ended up taking a photo of the gas gauge and mileage before leaving. This ended up ok but it could have went very wrong. If a drop off time is stated as 9am, then someone needs to be there!!!Kara M.

The truck was not at the pick location I set up and no one called or email me and now no one wants to call me back about it . In the next couple day if I don't hear from you guy I will turn to social media and let everyone know that you guys don't back your word. I have call three time and know one has yet to call me back . I was extremely angry with this location. First, I was unable to pick up my reservation for two hours after the agreed-upon time. Then, the woman who signed out the rental "could not find" the location in Malden at which I wanted to drop off the rental, so she put in a Boston location and told me it "would be fine to drop it off wherever you want." When I got to Malden, however, the guy told me I would have to pay a $100 drop fee to leave it there since it wasn't listed as the drop location on my invoice. This made me absolutely furious, and I would not recommend GCM to ANYONE.JEREMY D.

The experience was poor overall. When we first arrived the individuals at GCM told us that they had just given our truck away to someone else. They no longer had a 14' truck for us but rather a 10' truck. We waited an hour and half for the individuals at GCM to enter our information into the computer and to rent us the 10' truck. I decided to call UHaul myself to further investigate the situation and we were finally able to rent the truck that they had at this location. I think it might have really been a 14' truck but I am still not really sure. We also had to travel 30 minutes from our starting point in order to pick up a truck on the day of our reservation.
