I called when I first picked the truck up. I had told the man that I was driving to Buffalo and back, over 700 miles, he had 3 , and the one he was giving me was the oldest. I left to go grocery shopping before I brought the truck home. The pick up location was closed. So there was no one there to speak to so I called customer service. To inform them as the radio didn't work at all, the dash board was loose, do it smacked the windshield making a constant wrapping noise, when driving up hill Lynne transmission screamed like a wet fan belt. The center console would not fold down , making it difficult to store paperwork, or lean on for comfort, the drivers seat is difficult to explain, only one spring worked, and that was pushing on the most private of body parts for the entire 15 hours I drove that truck, pain full is the only thing I can say. When I got to Buffalo I opened the rear door to find the hand truck, they was in the back had fallen, breaking the zip tie , costing me a extra $7. I confronted the man when I returned the truck, informing him I know that he did this, the hand truck was not locked in, I know this because I had to unlock it to put it back. Also the new truck that was there on Saturday was still in the same spot Monday when I returned the truck. Finally, I just want to say over the past 20 years I've rented at least 12 uhaul trucks, never have I had such an experience, this is the second rental in a month, although my company I work for pays the bill and the money doesn't affect me, I think of the average person, who never drove a truck as big as 26' and this is what they can expect, they need a easy experience, most are moving and have enough stress, this man cared nothing about the customer, in fact, it seems he was hoping the truck wouldn't make it and he could collect insurance. My company, Ski Shawnee will be using trucks often as we are involved in a large project, I will be looking into other companies as a result of the service I received. Frank Either, 9735192822

The U-Haul app is terrible; I won't use it again. Took forever to verify my pickup. I was unable to drop off using the app, it kept resetting back to the main page every time I submitted the photo pf the dash.

I had my apprehensions when renting a trailer for a move but when I booked it, was set at ease with simplicity. I was forwarded to a location in Newton, in which I called right away. They were super nice and explained the process to me. When I went to pick up the trailer, they helped me and set it up for me. They explained what I needed to do and everything was turn key. Thank you to Uhaul and the guys at this location in Newton NJ. Thank you!!!

The U-Haul Truck Share 24/7 service feature is horrendously awful. I was supposed to pick-up the cargo van at 7:30. But, there were so many issues with the service app that myself and 3 other were waiting for this u-haul rental pick-up location to open at 8:00 to resolve the issues for us all. I was first in line and didn't walk out with the keys till 8:45, because he too was having issues with the u-haul server. Johns Automotive gets 5-Stars.(Excellent) U-Haul Company gets 1 Star (Poor) & in all probability future loss of customer.

I am assuming it was the owner. Came out to greet us as we were pulling in, helped us to park the trailer, made sure our experience was what we expected, helped us to unhitch trailer, and we were happily on our way. Wish picking up our trailer at another location was as pleasant.

Had to drive 18 miles to pick up trailer. When I choose to pick up at location within a few miles from my house but was told they don’t have this style trailer. The trailer we rented was dirty and smelled as if there was diesel fuel spilled in it.

I had rented the 26’ truck and I was the biggest peace of junk. I think the truck should be taken off the road until it is fixed and I hope that u-haul makes good with me. But other then the truck u-haul was good service and would use again as long as they make good

Your (corporate) pricing is deceiving. One comes in expecting to rent a truck for 19.95 for a few hours and it ends up costing > $80, with all the add ons and taxes and fees and gas and mileage. I think your advertising and promotion should be more realistic and accurate.

I can't recommend this location because I cannot recomment U-Haul. In fact, I will tell everyone I can to avoid U-Haul, if it requires a pick-up or drop off after the facility is closed because YOUR APP SUCKS!

I met the owner John a few days before the rental date so that I was sure where to park the truck and where to put the keys as we were dropping off the truck on a Saturday night after business hours. He was very helpful and friendly.

The location where we picked up the truck was very accommodating. Our pick-up location was switched the morning of our move and we would have been charged extra for going over the allowed mileage which was not our fault. The employee at the location we picked up the truck accommodated us and made sure we had enough allowed mileage for our entire trip. Will definitely recommend this location to others.

I had to travel 35 additional miles to get the truck. I still don't know if I will get credit for it or not. Apart from paying around $35 extra, I also had to pay $ 40 plus for cab fees to get back and forth. Hopefully I will get some credit for it. But the location and the attendant was great. Very helpful.

The trailer is parked under a tree so all the stuff that falls out of the trees was in the trailer along with broken pieces of plastic from the last person that used it and I had to clean it myself when I got home.

John's Automotive was a pleasure to work with, Uhaul customer service not so much. Started with a contract for 10' truck from Uhaul called day before from near tuxedo NY. Told no truck yet maybe for pick up almost an hour away. So I get new reservation for truck in Matamorous PA. I called in morning and told truck in Monticello NY another hour away. Called customer service and this agent was a pleasure and set up 9' van at John's. Contract was supposed to be for 95 a day and 100 miles included. Went to pick up a John's he tried to correct called CS and told it is another district but they would correct when I checked it back in. When I did no price adjustment and I paid for all miles over 75. So John was a pleasure but very disappointed with Uhaul this time. Felt like I was in Seinfeld episode where you can take the reservation, you just can't keep it. I will deal with John in the future and and recommend others not to use internet reservations unless yu can correct issues.

When I ordered online spoke to a rep they told me the trailer would be within 2 to 3 miles of my house unknowing to me . The trailer was 3540 minutes away in Newton next time I will verify the distance of travel to pick up this trailer thank you
