There was no fuel in the truck when I picked it up. I returned it with fuel and would like to be reimbursed for it. Heat didn't workRakeyia Y.

When the location is supposed to be open during business hours it's not. I had to call the 1 800 U-Haul number to return the key to the truck + 2 received the truck. I hope other locations are more customer friendly the one at 2431 prospect needs help thanks in advanceLitdra F.

You need to correct the charge for three days instead to 2 days also I have my own insurance on those equipment so this 24 dollar have to be removed, I'm waiting for your actions today, otherwise??????Jacques S.

I arrived at the place around 12 which was my pick up time... Called the location several times no answer... Door was locked... Called the 800 number and was in communication with a representative for about 30 minutes in that time the owner manager came down and put a bucket to open the door... I went in and went upstairs to a dark office slash living room that smell of smoke and was Cuttery... Guy didn't even know that I was there to rent a truck just knew that the truck was there for somebody... This was around 12: 35... His computer system was messing up and it took another 20 minutes before I was able to leave the facility... He was nice and friendly but the facility was in poor condition and reeks of smoke... The guy looks like he had just woken up... So not the best experience for checking out a vehicle... And then when I tried to check it back in I could not get the photo to load and so I was able to contact another customer service representative and they were able to help me but that was also another 20 minute process... So for something being a rapid check in and supposed to be an easy check out it was pretty difficult and there were times that I didn't even think I was going to get the vehicle whenever I was talking with the guy and while I was waiting for the guy to show up or wake up... He did allow me extra time for which I was grateful because it took so long but it was just a long and drawn-out process that I was not expectingImber M.

The only issue I had with this location was the location in a very poor area and the outside beyond U-Hauls area was filthy. Otherwise, very good service. I turned in the truck early, but have not received any notification of a credit for that day.LESTER K.

Two gentlemen were friendly and helpful. They were on time for my pickup and helped me hitch the trailer to the vehicle and gave me loading instructions. Enjoyed talking to them.Patrick K.
The man running the shop was lovely and easy to work with. The inside of the Uhaul smelled strongly of cigarettes and there was ash left around and the console area was sticky and I cleaned when I got the vehicle home. Also the pick up location was not well labeled. It was obvious that Uhaul trucks were likely rented there because you saw them outside but where to enter the building and in fact that it was the correct building was not so clear. 1. Jaime (in the scheduling department, not from this U Haul location) who we called to change our request time to fit with our original request was very helpful 2. The office hours of this location are extremely inconvenient for pick up as the location doesn't open until 11am. 3. The U haul manager didn't allow us to inspect the truck prior to signing the lease and the gas was 3/8 full and he had marked it as 1/2 full. 4. The truck smelled strongly of smokeKIMBERLY S.

We got the car dolly loaded the car on on i35 in Kansas City only to relize no one checked the straps and the passenger side wheel strap was broken I called uhaul roadside assistance who was no help and we sat on the side of a major highway late Friday night with drinks on the road and uhaul cared more about the equipment then the safety of us then the vender still made us pay for it even though I had to use my own tools to make the car dolly usable so I could limp everyone home iv used uhaul before and never had a problem but this experience has severely soured my feelings towards uhaul and I don't know that I would ever use them againJeffrey H.

I will not do busuness with uhaul again. First i needed a later pick up time so I called the location several times and there was no answer. Then I changed my reservation online and the rep calls me back saying he had to pick up his brother from the airport and I had to come earlier. .. so I had to get the keys and leave it at the location until i was ready to take it. I was charged for insurance I had NO INTENTION of taking out. The first form I signed declined it and said I would immediately reimburse uhaul if anything was damaged. But your rep slipped it into the contract I signed. When we were going over it he skipped that part. I didnt notice until I was charged. Your customer service transfered me several times and finally told me its my fault and its up to the uhaul rep to refund me. He has not answered his phone, not returned his messages or has not opened the door when I came by. I had been using uhaul for years and I will not be using your services, nor will my family. It seems you will let any shady salesman represent you and you do not stand behind your customers.janay H.
I give your rep 100.00 for a deposit and didn't get anything back and he also said it wasn't enough when I called monday, because it went over the mileage,now I asked when renting that truck if the ride from 35th& Jackson to 125 st in grandview would run over I was told no. All I had to do is when returning the truck back to have the same amount of gas in the tank when I got it. My family members and I have done business with you guys before on the 15 locust and never had any problems. When 24 & prospect was my only options for the size truck I was needing I knew it was going to be a problem and going to conact my cousin senator shalon "keke" curls to have that looked into, its not that I don't want to pay but They're doing shady business on 24st.Pamela G.
The business is a guys ratty apartment. he looks like a hoarder there were food rappers, piles of papers, crap just everywhere. He had a tv on and made some odd comments about a childporn case on the news that might have offended other people. He creepily asked me, a man, what cologne I was wearing which was uncomfortable. Then I brought the trailer back the next day to this " 24 hour dropoff location" and he wasn't there and the gate and front door were locked.of course no answer on the phone 10 times in a row or a call back. had to wait 2 hours in the most dangerous area of Kansas city for him to arrive. to which he made a comment about me being on time... most unprofessional experience I have ever patroned. this location needs to be shut down immediately. do not do business hereMike D.
Nothing...NEVER recomend this location to a customer. The owner of this property was incredibly rude when we returned the vehicle. He took about an hour of our time in getting us the vehicle when we went to pick it up....but he was relatively friendly then...but the drop off made for a BAD end to a very hard day and the location is sketchy at best.joscelyn H.
